He is very patient and you can tell how knowledgeable he is. He's always looking into new research and maintains to stay up to date with all his specialties. He doesn't make you feel rushed, endures you feel comfortable, and doesn't downplay /disregard your concerns. He doesn't speak degradingly (which is something I experienced with past psychiatrists) and his staff, Shalon, is absolutely wonderful. She's able to accommodate that I'm bad at phone calls so she takes the time to answer and send reminders to my email. She's so sweet. Of course, his office is probably the only one who accepts my insurance; however, I feel comfortable telling him everything and he does what he feels is needed- I trust his judgement. He is strictly prescription, but he won't give up until he is able to help you. I've personally never had a bad experience with his method, so for those of you who are sensitive do your research first before you make an appointment and waste your money on a 'bad experience'. Then I called three days straight to inquire about a refill and no one would answer so I left a voice message. Finally on a Saturday I called again and the receptionist put me through to him. He was so condescending and rude to me. As I asked him a question he answered rudely then hung up. I called back to finish my statement (and apparently to continue listening to his attitude) and he yelled at me that he was with a patient and didn't have time for this. The conversation I had with him was all of one minute and I would have been fine being told to call back. At this point, I decided to speak with him in the same rude tone I was enduring and told him I would be finding a new doctor. He then yelled at me that that was fine and he wasn't going to refill the prescription. Seems like a doctor can't just not refill out of anger, but I'm sure not about to wait around and find out. I'm contacting the medical board and I hope you learn from my experience and find you a good doctor. Don't go here. It's not worth it on any level.
