He is very patient and you can tell how knowledgeable he is. He's always looking into new research and maintains to stay up to date with all his specialties. He doesn't make you feel rushed, endures you feel comfortable, and doesn't downplay /disregard your concerns. He doesn't speak degradingly (which is something I experienced with past psychiatrists) and his staff, Shalon, is absolutely wonderful. She's able to accommodate that I'm bad at phone calls so she takes the time to answer and send reminders to my email. She's so sweet. By far the best doctor visit that I feel most comfortable with all around.

The examination itself was limited to vital signs. Dr. Szabo then indicated that she would return shortly, but instead a nurse entered the room. I asked the nurse whether Dr. Szabo could return to address my remaining questions, and the nurse stated that she would locate her. After waiting an additional 30 minutes without an update, we left the examination room and observed Dr. Szabo at her workstation. When the nurse again attempted to check whether Dr. Szabo was available, Dr. Szabo screamed/responded harshly that I "was supposed to leave 30 minutes ago." At that point, my remaining questions had still not been addressed, and I left the office without receiving the consultation expected from the visit. Including commute time, the appointment required nearly two hours and concluded without resolution of my medical concerns.

Not only was this comment extremely rude and unprofessional, but it has discouraged me from seeking guidance from a professional at all. I chose this psychologist because his biography said he specialized in so many areas that would fit my situation. Unfortunately, that is just not true. I have a ton of family and family friends in medicine so there's always a plethora of knowledge around me; and different opinions. I went on my insurance website and took down bios for about 20 doctors. From there, I vetted them by specialty, location and reviews.I wanted someone personable, who I could relate to, and most importantly- someone smart who knew what they were talking about. I found everything and more in Dr. Daniel. Dr. Daniel is not only smart but she's fantastic at explaining the chemical processes going on in your body. She teaches for Swedish Covenant so she's well versed in all the common questions (that her residents have). She also believes firmly in the osteopathic approach to medicine. That pretty much means she believes in the "whole body" approach instead of just focusing on the body as separate organs. She has an open mind and believes with going with what works. Finally she is personable and encouraging. We talked about random stuff and she made me feel so comfortable. Making an appointment was simple and the office did not feel like a typical medical office. It's located at a former office/administrative building so there is a ton of marble and wall sconces. The staff is really nice as well. Dr. Daniel definitely has your back- and everything else as well.
