In particular, it was found out that a teacher had been practicing a pagan ritual during the Halloween season. She had additionally invited the children and a few parents to participate (i.e. burning candles and making offerings to the dead). When "called out" about this ritual, the staff and teacher made "life very difficult" to put it mildly. This is simply one of many occurrences. Before enrolling, please do your "homework" and ask around the community. There are other options, as far as Christian schools.

Well knowing online schooling hasn't been easy for any child now that my child is forced to sit for hours on his computer makes it that much worse. Mr. Morrison knowing my child has ADHD has had no patience not only for my child but for many other students in his class and I am able to say this because I have witnessed him myself yelling and being extremely rude to the other children with no remorse!!!!! He's even went to the extent of making one of the little girls in his class cry. It has made me so angry with many attempts to give him chances but I've gotten to the point where I am now obligated to change my child's school where they will give him respect and the extra attention for his needs. You would think their required teachers how wonderful they are worth the children. They make everyone feel welcomed and are very good with the kids and professional. They are able to give them directions and keep the line orderly, help them choose for and vegetable while still being kind. I'm so glad I brought my daughter. I really don't feel like the board cares about our children or the staff that serve them. My son's TK classroom didn't even have a bathroom in it, but they feed their faces like money grows on trees. It took nearly an entire school year to get my son speech services. Field trips are almost nonexistent but they can travel and spend money so stupidly. Teachers get away with treating our kids so badly. There's a rule that if you want to celebrate your child's birthday at school, you have to purchase cupcakes from the nutrition services department, but then they have our kids selling junk food, buying junk food for fundraisers and their lunches only meet minimal nutrition standards. I really feel they are doing it to profit off of parents wanting to celebrate their childrens' birthdays at school. Speech therapists are underpaid and the unions are definitely doing more for the board than the staff they take money from every month. Everything is in place to serve the board. It's really the most corrupt district I have ever come across. If you are supposed to send your child here, I strongly suggest you consider charter schools or an inter district transfer.
