Thoroughly disappointed. Every hairstylist I've liked has left, the turnover is disastrous. They don't answer their phones, or respond to emails. I tried calling for the last two weeks to schedule a hair appointment for my sister as a surprise for her birthday on March 3. They finally get back to me March 2nd via text about how Facebook has been compromised. Her birthday is tomorrow - obviously I've scheduled elsewhere at this point. I was happy to get a last minute appointment this past Friday afternoon for a blow out. Beautiful Salon & Location On opposite end of Palm Dinner Theatre Plaza. My hair was still damp from my home Aveda Camomile wash. Stylist & I consulted about products. Far too many of them reduce the shine & weigh my hair down. We talked about fullness goal & how to get result desired. I have fairly thick hair, if dried underneath before styling, it retains quite a bit of natural body when 2/3rds dried at root down before trying to work round brush thru to the bend the ends. Stylist was pleasant but didn't follow desired protocol which is also a time saver besides getting a full longer lasting result. My hair did look fine when I left but it was a bit heavy & not as full or long lasting as I would have wished. Will try again. read more

Awesome salon and Ashley is an awesome stylist! Moved here a few months ago and didn't have a salon home so I turned to Yelp. After seeing tons of great reviews I booked myself online. Arrived at the salon and appointment started right on time! Ashley recommended donating my hair I was cutting off which I thought was awesome! I had never been asked although I do long cuts frequently. The owner explained to me at checkout that donated hair goes to Wigs for Kids where there is no charge for the wigs. SO AWESOME. The cut and styling looks fantastic and was done with so much care. Ashley has an easy going personality which makes your appointment a lot of fun. At appointment the stylist made some recommendation, but no cost was discussed. The final bill was tallied to $376. My daughter was pleased with color and cut. Ok, so here for an update. I've now lived in California for over 2 years. I have searched for hair I like (& it's not easy). I found a friend with good taste and hair and she gave me a name. I researched the stylist on yelp and the salon website- 14 years at the salon & lots of training... Sounded like I might have found my Nicole. Sadly, not so much! After a few weeks of protein treatments, my hair is finally feeling better (still looks fried). Conclusion: cloning for hairstylists is a must!!!! read more

Warning to new customers ! I booked an appointment for a haircut and blow dry and applied for their $20 coupon for first-time clients. Three days later I received a call confirming my appointment and was told if I didn't also get color, they wouldn't honor my discount. I said no one told me when they booked my appointment last week, I don't color my hair. The website doesn't make it clear that there has to be at least two services or a minimum charge. The haircut would be $55, regular price. Very poor customer service and deceptive to inform me the night before my appointment. As a full time local resident, I certainly can't recommend your salon. read more

When visiting Ft. Myers About two weeks ago I found this salon to have my gray covered. It had good reviews and was in close proximity to my father's house. The colorist was very nice and my hair looked great. The charge for color was $70 which was reasonable. But they then charged another 30$ for shampoo and styling. I have never paid extra for styling with color anywhere. I did not have a cut, only color, and nothing extra either, such as highlights. They said this is standard, and it may be, but I think it is outrageous! read more

Love this place, staff are all very friendly and smiling and it's clean and modern looking. I tried out Ashley for a last minute bang trim and loved the way they turned out. Have gone back two more times, and have not been disappointed. Have not had any issues with scheduling appointments either, usually just a few days in advance. Prices range depending on stylist. My haircut with Ashley is $30, and bang trims are $8 but some stylists are significantly more, so just ask. read more

So I found this great salon and have not regretted it. I normally spend a year to find a salon that does a great job. I've always been very particular on my hair cuts and expect a perfectionist hair stylist. Well I found that at this salon. I have been having Ashley cut my hair since I moved back in May 2015. I got my haircut here a while back while by Kristina. I really wanted to write a good review as I liked my hair when I left and it was blown out. It was much lighter weight (I have very thick wavy hair). However, I noticed that she used a thinning shears horizontally much closer to my scalp than what I would have expected. Most stylists I go to won't use thinning shears anymore and especially not on my textured hair, as it creates a much bulkier look. It also creates blunt lines which don't have anywhere to grow out. I had my hair fixed about 3 weeks later by a top stylist in my area and he was pretty disappointed with the lack of blending in my hair. He thinned it at the end which and used points to cut the bottom of my hair and blend it in. I wasn't going to write a review, but after how happy I am now that my hair is better I feel like I should. It's too bad, it seemed like a really nice salon and the stylists and staff all seemed really nice. read more

I had my roots touched up and a haircut by Christina (not sure if this is the correct spelling). I told her several times not to cut my hair too short and showed her how much to cut. Well, I left looking like she had put a bowl on top of my head and cut everywhere else very short and choppy. There was also an area behind my ear that hadn't been colored. What a mess! Beware! I read all these reviews and thought I had made a good choice on a salon and stylist. I was WRONG! I brought pictures with me, the previous formula for my color and ended up completely dissatisfied. This I could deal with, it happens. But when I brought it to the salons attention, I was initially told to come in the next day so that they could see it (they didn't believe the picture I sent them). I agreed. Unfortunately, later that day the owner sent me an email and told me that he had pulled the video and audio surveillance footage (what? I'm a criminal now because I don't like my hair!!!) and he determined that I got what I asked for. I am pretty certain that NEVER during my visit did I say "please stripe the top of my hair". He also said I brought in my previous formula so that was my fault as well. Well if he had listened to the audio as he proclaimed, he would have heard me say on more than one occasion "you don't need to use this, its just to give you an idea of what I like" and since the stylist then added a darker color not on the formula and decided to forgo the glaze, I guess I didn't get the formula I asked for anyways. I have no issue with the color, its the STRIPES. Since clearly we were not having the appointment the next day, I sent the owner the inspiration pictures I had shown the stylist along with what my hair previously looked like when the "formula" was used on it. He decided that I got what I asked for, however if I wanted to come in and have more foils put in the top of my hair they could do that. Lets see, more stripes? No thank you. What I wanted was my money back, or the very least, not told that I got what I wanted when clearly I did not. When a customer comes to a salon owner saying they are disappointed with their service, attacking them and telling them they are wrong is not the right customer service avenue. I don't believe the customer is always right, however when you can see the stripes on top of their head, clearly something went wrong, it might help to admit it. read more

What a great experience I had at this salon. If you follow along with my reviews, you know I received a horrendous haircut a while back, so I was ready to find myself in the care of a decent stylist. To be fair, I knew Josh, the stylist at George John, prior to coming here (he cuts my boyfriend's hair), but had never had him do my hair before. What a slam dunk. Not only did Josh fix what was wrong with my original cut, he actually listened when I verbalized what sort of style I was going for, and gave me advice on what we could realistically do, given the state of my previous butchering. That's the least a person could ask for from a stylist, right? Fortunately for me, Josh went above and beyond. After a nice shampoo and a cut, I walked out of the salon with the cute flippy bob that I'd been trying to attain for over a year. And I even have some bangs...not the huge swatch that I had from my previous cut, but a nice little fringe which pulls my cut together and frames my face very nicely. I am so incredibly happy with my haircut. Now I just need to figure out how I'm going to get to Fort Myers every few months to have my hair done! :) read more

Tracy was great! She fixed my terribly damaged hair (previous blonde) which had a dark brown box color and dark red box color on top of it. Which we all know create color stripes in your hair.
