Someone needs to answer just this one question- how are brand new pads and rotors grinding!? Literally replaced my rear brakes a day prior to this event. Front is 7mm which is half life- an actual professional told me this measurement prior to this. Oh, and the parking lights that don't exist that are apparently out? Pointing out literal Chrome on the inside of the headlamp assembly saying parking lights are out. No, ma'am, Look to your left about 4 inches to see fully functioning parking lights. Maybe I mean just maybe, if we were actually pulling wheels and using our eyes to inspect these components, confusion wouldn't be lingering so much. (did you know there are tools to measure these components? confusion can easily be resolved Here) This woman needs to answer phone calls, not inspect cars. Never wasting my time here again.

I don't live in this area but am up here for an event and I needed my car inspected. So I called this dealership, the receptionist was nice and they were able to accommodate my needs. My appointment was at 3pm and we showed around 2:30. They took my car to inspect it right away. It's now 3:30 and I go out to find out what the hold up is and the man behind the counter says I'm sorry your car failed inspection. What???! It's a year old, what's wrong? Oh you need new windshield wipers. I thought oh that sounds like some bs considering I just drove 2hrs in the rain to come up here yesterday and my wipers worked fine. He then begins to quote $88 for new ones. I said they probably just need cleaned maybe debris is the issues. He said oh no they are torn. $88 for new windshield wipers are you out of your f**king mind!!! I said give me the keys I'll run over to the auto parts store and get them replaced for under $30. He said oh well do you just want me to put the stickers on it for you then? Yep! Another 15mins goes by. What is taking so long? Oh he has to put the info into the computer. This place is a total scam! I get the car back and there are old rain drops on my windshield from the drive up which tells me he never bothered to even check them. I get out and inspect the wipers and there is no cuts and the windshield is perfectly clean. The lobby has old furniture that is stained and filthy. The roof has leaked and there are water stained ceiling tiles in combo with missing tiles. Then the true WTF is the dirty bathroom where the toilet actually rocks. Does any of this sound like a place where you want to do business? Yeah me neither.

We were quoted a couple of thousand dollars at other chain places to have the work done, and most just wanted to sell us an extended warranty. Deer Lake Subaru quoted a price almost $1,500 less than the next cheapest price. In addition the folks were completely amazing. They were super friendly and had the work competed and the car back days ahead of schedule. Very happy with the entire experience. We later returned and purchased our own Subaru Forester and had an amazing experience as well and the car has been great. Would 100% recommend them to anyone for either service or sales, they care and stand behind they're business.
