Unfortunately, the quality of the service I received did not meet the expectations 1 would have from a professional alterations business. I entrusted my garments to your team, and anticipated a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that Just Alterations is apparently known for based off of previous google reviews. However, upon receiving my items, I noticed several issues that were not addressed adequately. All 3 pair of shorts I brought in to have hemmed; 1) All have crooked and uneven seam lines 2) 2 are misaligned leaving 1 leg opening wider than the other 3) 1 has the seam coming undone (and I only tried on, did not wear) 4) All have what I am hoping are fabric pencil marks that will come out, and not marks left from an iron or steamer. All issues I noticed, and pointed out upon picking up. To my surprise and further disappointment, I still had to pay..... full price! With no discount as if this is an acceptable result for this business. In 40 years, and many many alterations from previous places, I have never seen such poor work, and even worse customer service.

Typically, the proprietor is short on words or chatty with offending comments. I mean dude is ALWAYS asking me if I took the day off if I show up on a week day during business hours, like "why?". Never fails, it's like he can't believe I have a job where I can run errands during the day. Every "chatty" day, he always wants to know what I do for a living. But I digress, on this occasion dude meandered to greet us after about three minutes of looking up, making eye contact, finished whatever he was doing for another 3 minutes or so and was like "what can I do for you?" In the most annoyed tone. I stated my daughter needed to have a hem altered and my wife needed a zipper fixed. Dude said "ok' and walked away. I instructed my daughter to go change, he came out another 5 minutes later and hastily marked her gown and again disappeared. When my daughter finished changing dude annoyingly asked if a week later was fine and rudely instructed me to "pay now."after finishing the transaction he took the pants that needed a zipper and hung them up in the walkway with the ticket for BOTH garments and left to finish whatever he was doing again without a single word. No "thank you", no "good bye" not a fucking word. Keep in mind my daughter was still standing there holding the SECOND garment. I had to grab, the pants and hang the gown with the pants to lessen the chance the two would be separated. He watched me do all of this and didn't even feign concern. I returned a week later to receive the $60 of work with pretty much the same attitude. By now I knew not to expect a shred of decorum or respect so I just handed him the ticket had my daughter try on the dress(he disappeared after handing me the garments), and walked out without a word after seeing the fit. I'm done with the place, the work has always been average at best, and the cost has always been exorbitant. Dude clearly doesn't want to work anymore and needs to sell the business and hang it up.

We left not knowing exactly we were going to get, even kind of nervous. But hopeful at the same time. She was very quick, and we went in for our 1st fitting. My fiancé's jacket and vest looked great, and fit him just about perfectly at the 1st fitting. I must admit I wasn't happy with my dress at all... here's where I went into freak out mode. Yani pretty much told me to trust the process. Since I had never had a custom dress made... i did not trust the process at all. When I came back for the next fitting, I can tell you that all my stress was for nothing. The dress was almost perfect. I was like... YES! This is so much better. By my last fitting the dress was perfect. Absolutely perfect! This past weekend was our wedding. I got so many complements on my dress. It fit perfectly. You can tell it was made just for me. I am very short and it didn't drag the ground at all. At the end of the night, I didn't even want to take it off. I want to wear it again. I'm said that it was just for that occasion. Someone give me some ideas on how and when I can wear this beautiful dress again. LOL
