We had our car towed to Caliber Collisin (Roseville Location) after a tree limb fell on it smashing the windshield, the hood and scratching most of the car. Oh this was a big job and on top of that it was a convertible Porsche. Before calling Caliber Collision, we called several other shops and they were intimidated by working on a Porsche. The plastic cover under his car came loose with time and when my son called back to schedule an appointment the owner Steve was very rude and told him that he doesn't have time (for something that small). He hung up on my son twice. I am very very shocked. I guess some people only are nice when the repair is over a certain dollar amount. My son is 18 yrs old and works hard for his money. He NEVER actually did a diagnostic and just fixed what I told him they said was wrong with the car. He says that he'll fix it but he doesn't know if it'll stop the engine noise. I was told that the diagnostic would gather the information needed to make a sound decision about the repair. It was a ripoff and I'll be reporting this business to everyone that I possibly can report it to. He should have never fixed my vehicle when he knew that my car still would not function properly after the repair.He's fixed an oil leak and still charged me $90 for an oil change as if he wasn't going to have to put oil back in the vehicle after the repair. He's suppose to be mechanic and be thorough. He took advantage and then got upset when I told him that the credit card charges are too much because he's going to write those off on his taxes. DO Not patronize this business if you want someone who's honest and ethical. He also never called me back after I called with concerns about all of this!
