TLDR: George's is absolutely the best place around when it comes to quality, customer care, and overall getting your moneys worth. A coworker recommended that I begin doing business with George's heating and cooling years ago and I'm honestly glad that I took his advice. They came out on short notice to get my heat running again twice. Both times the situation was resolved quickly and they provided great service. That furnace eventually failed due to it being so old and when it did, I didn't hesitate to reach out to Georges Heating and Cooling. They diagnosed the issue and even sent a second service tech out to come and confirm the first techs findings. I appreciate the fact that they not only checked, but double checked that the issue couldn't be resolved with that unit, especially when such a large repair bill is at stake. Sadly it wasn't fixable so they laid out my options. I especially appreciate that never once did they try to upsell me, or use any pushy salesman tactics, or make me feel pressured in any way. I ended up upgrading to a 3 zone copper and hunter mini split system and honestly it's great. They did the work and even reached out to me after the work was complete to make sure all was well with the unit and to make sure that I was satisfied. I did had some concerns over temperature mainly because I wasn't used to a mini split system in how it differed from a furnace system. They immediately scheduled a service appointment for the very next morning and ensured that everything was fine and provided all the clarification on the finer points of the system that I was needing. Most capable/honest HVAC company in NH! Finding a contractor for any trade is always a challenge, because you can never foretell the quality of their work or how they'll respond when things don't go according to plan. Having worked with Georges on our heat pump installation, I can confidently say that they perform to the highest degree possible in both areas. Through no fault of Georges', we encountered a few hiccups with our equipment after installation. Many companies would have charged us an arm and a leg to figure out what was going wrong, or otherwise refused to help since they had already been paid. But not Georges. They worked for hours over multiple days to identify the malfunctioning subsystems within the equipment, and they found a solution even when the manufacturer couldn't. As someone who has done multiple home projects with all different types of contractors, I can confidently say this was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. We were given a free, detailed quote for installing ducts in our attic and installing a unit for central heat/ a/c. (They were the only company that suggested an option where we could have heat also for not much more.) They showed up when they said they were, and did what they said they were going to do.. I would highly recommend this company. I had an emergency situation and needed my gas furnace replaced immediately. The furnace had a crack in it and carbon monoxide could have been leaking out due to this crack. George's took care of everything and within two days I had a new heating and air conditioning system.
