    Farm salad

Ask to sit at the bar and be surprised by the speakeasy door opening. My Sazerac was perfectly created by the friendly bartender. The farm salad's dressing was deliciously tangy. The mouth watering bolognese was so comforting and the pasta perfectly al dente. Looking forward to trying other dishes on a future visit.

Went to George's for a romantic date night with my boyfriend. 10/10, absolutely beautiful dinner. We had the Pork Osso Buco and the Spicy Rigatoni with italian sausage. Pork was delicious and perfectly cooked, mashed potatoes were phenomenal. My only note is that I wish there were more potatoes. I also had the Meet Me in Bangkok and Skinny Italian cocktails - perfectly sweet with a kick. Our server, Josh, was such a delight!

    Spaghetti western

This is a classy yet lowkey Italian spot. It almost reminds you of a house that was turned into a restaurant. The service was good. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful. For food, I had lamb chops with asparagus. The lamb chops were a hit, they were cooked just right with the right amount of seasoning. The pepper jelly really set it over the top for me. I had a spaghetti western for my cocktail, which is a whiskey. It was strong so you really only need one! They also have a speakeasy which is located behind a "secret" door. It's a nice little vibe in there. If you're looking for a date night spot or a fun time with friends, this is your place.

    Dirty martini

Josh was our server he was AMAZING! So kind and knowledgeable went above and beyond. Extra dirty martini was great, bread was amazing, had the kavanaugh chopped salad added beets and radishes so yummy!

I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and it was more than enough food. The pasta tasted fresh, and everything was seasoned really well. Next time, I'll go with the half portion. My wife had the Gulf shrimp scampi and bar fries. She said the shrimp was everything and then some. The fries were pretty basic--nothing special. We each had a cocktail. She ordered the What Happens in Bangkok--nicely mixed, refreshing, and just a little sour. I had the Vita Bella, which was tasty but strong. The service was great--friendly, attentive, and well-paced. The ambiance was warm and stylish without being over the top. It had a nice balance of upscale and comfortable, which made for a really enjoyable evening For dessert, we tried the Mascarpone Cheesecake after hearing other guests talk about it--and it lived up to the hype. Light, fluffy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Our total was just under $125, which felt fair for the quality and experience. Not an everyday spot for us, but perfect for a special occasion like our anniversary. We'll definitely be back--though next time, we might try different cocktails

DRIFTWOOD FARM MUSHROOM AND STRACCIATELLA AGNOLOTTI, GARLIC CREAM, PINK PEPPERCORN

I had the DRIFTWOOD mushroom and added steak. They have a new steak guy and it was cooked to perfection 1000/10.

Went to dinner tonight at George's, we had the Apple bruschetta, focaccia bread, and the meatballs for an appetizer. Then we had the spicy vodka rigatoni & short rib bucatini. If you haven't tried it, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! However good the meal was...... save room for the dessert! Turtle cheesecake! If you have ever been to NYC and had Juniors cheesecake.... I'd put this one up there and probably ahead it!

Lasagna with meatball and Italian sausage

Recommend making a reservation in advance- Especially if you want to be in the speakeasy. Food was incredible and service was as well. The place is very quaint and has a home feeling to it. Had the meatballs and lasagna and it was amazing.

    Rigatoni with Shrimp

Lovely dinner spot for a special occasion! The service was exceptional, decor beautiful, and food was delicious. The cheesecake (which comes in a huge portion) and stopping by Barnaby is a must, just ask the staff and they're happy to answer questions about it.

We started with the beef carpaccio which was a very generous portion and great...probably the best value I've ever seen for that dish! Next time we'd order without the tomatoes on top (kinda seemed like canned, crushed tomatoes and not a traditional part of the dish), but it was a great start to the meal! Then my husband got the pappardelle bolognese, and I ordered the pork chop. We probably should have known not to order pasta after seeing their version of "carbonara"...penne instead of spaghetti, peas, cream, AND chicken on top...my Italian husband was getting hives just reading it. The bolognese had huge chunks of undercooked onions and just wasn't a traditional bolognese at all. The pork chop was fine, but kind of dry even though I ordered medium and with no char on the outside. The Brussels sprouts as the side veggie were good. If we go back, we'll just get a bunch of carpaccio!

As with almost all my races, I wanted pasta the night before (Cabo load ) and Capeo was very close to my hotel. I was in a t-shirt and running shorts so I stopped by to order the food to go (website wouldn't let me do a web-based pick-up but no biggie). I sat at the bar (and saw a couple people in jeans so I probably didn't need to worry). I ordered the linguini with seafood. It came out fairly quick. The chef saw me and actually asked about my shirt (it is an ultramarathon called Barkley and I explained rat jaw and rat bites to him). I brought the food back to my hotel room (thankful the bartender asked me if I wanted utensils). Came with some bread that had really good flavor. The linguini was cooked perfectly - still a little al dente). The seafood broth was excellent and it had a lot of seafood (2 or 3 shrimp , 5 clams , and 2 mussels). Flavor was excellent even though it was take out. Because of the race I wasn't drinking but the bar had quite a selection of spirited (and I saw plenty of bottles of wine around.) Atmosphere was nice and I found free parking less than a block away (saved my legs for the marathon).
