Finally, an Italian spot in town that isn't Olive Garden. Don't get me wrong--endless breadsticks are cute, but sometimes you want pasta without the corporate hug. The bread here looked like it belonged in a magazine ad, but taste-wise... let's just say the camera does add 10 pounds of flavor. We started with cheese sticks (because it's illegal not to) and some salads that were gone before we could blink thanks to our server, who was basically an Olympic-level plate-clearer. For mains, we tried the four-cheese pasta with chicken, the chicken Alfredo, and the seafood pasta. Were they life-changing? No. Did they make us happy while sipping on some very "yep, that's definitely wine" glasses of red? Absolutely. So yeah--good service, pasta that does its job, and wine that keeps the conversation flowing. Just don't come in expecting Tuscany in a bowl, and you'll leave smiling. read more

Third visit here. We had a party of five tonight. Two Seafood pastas, two lobster raviolis and a baked combo. Cheese bread appetizer was enjoyed by all. All the food was excellent. Server was friendly. Kinda got rushed out before ordering a dessert to share. Had to ask for more utensils for all. Table full of empty plates but server never removed any of them even after dropping check. Service was disappointing, especially considering how much I spent. read more

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and service. Downside is I got the chicken parm and it had very little flavor. The pasta was cooked well - maybe they forgot the seasoning on the chicken and flour that day. Also the bread rolls were great too. read more

Ok Benton, Arkansas! At first I was a little skeptical about what the cuisine world would be like in this small town, 30 minutes or so outside of Little Rock.... Let me start by saying this is by far one of the best chicken parmigiana I've ever tasted. The spaghetti sauce seasoned to perfection, sometimes I find it can be bland. No no no not here, the first bite I was like wait a minute wait a minute. Pleasantly surprised! The chicken cutlet was a nice size, very moist another kudos to the chefs at this restaurant! at times the cutlet can be overcooked and dry. NO NO NO NOT HERE my food was fresh, the real kicker is I ordered right before closing. Still my meal was fresh as if the kitchen just opened. I did not know the meal came with two bread rolls, I ordered 4 extra. Bread was nice, warm and moist. Don't judge me if I eat all 6 all in all this is a must try! I got a very real authentic Italian feel from this restaurant. If you're in the area give them a try you won't be disappointed! read more

It was crowded but they gave great service and were attentive. The food was very good and portions were a nice size. It was clean orderly and the staff was on top of making sure it stayed clean. Of course, the food was delicious! And not bad pricing either. It was refreshing to find a place with Gluten Free food that my wife could enjoy. The restrooms were clean and the dining area was spacious and clean too. (Edited to note that they did have a babu changing station in the men's bathroom. This dad thanks you!) I wouldn't say we are regulars but we do come in several times a year. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always superb and the food is solid. Probably top 3 Italian restaurants in central AR. Keep doing what you are doing. read more

Ambiance is a bit quaint, and a tad small. The food was very good! I had the chicken Verona which was fairly light despite how it looks! I ate all of it without feeling stuffed like I normally do after pasta. The flavor profile was very good, some of the better Italian food I've had in Arkansas! I also had the tiramisu, which was also light, spongey, and moist! Was not too sweet and homemade! Was very delicious! The service was great! For the price the food to so so. I had the chicken Parm. And the spaghetti noodles were thin and over cooked. The sauce on the chicken was a bit sweet and not much substance. This is a completely unassuming gem in Benton. It's a really awesome Italian joint wrapped in a barndo-ish building. We came for a late lunch after a family shopping day and were seated right away. My nephews, one in particular, can eat more bread than anyone I've ever seen, and their bread is delicious, fluffy, and fresh. Needless to say he tore up about two baskets of it on his own... haha. Several of us had identical dishes, and everyone really enjoyed the meal. The lighting was dimly lit which makes it an ideal spot for a date (which I'm sure I'll be using this spot for at some stage of life ). 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a great meal. My wife and I were traveling from Kentucky to Texas and stopped over at Littlerock, AR. We had a hankering for some good italian food so we asked the concierge at our hotel for a recommendation and she had a few that were nearby but since we were familiar with the names, we chose to use Yelp instead. Verona had high reviews but we took a chance even if it meant having to drive 20 miles each way. Let me say it was worth the trip! The food is tasty, delicious, well prepared, etc. Out server Loski was very helpful and her recommendations were delicious. The bread rolls will melt in your mouth. We had to stop eating them to make room for the main entrees. I had the shrimp Ala Casa and my wife had the chicken verona. We topped off our evening with an order of tiramisu which was also heavenly. I will yell the hotel concierge about Verona and tell her to add it to their list of restaurants to recommend to their guests. We will definitely come by again next time we swing by Littlerock. We have been to Verona a couple times since their renovation. In the past the food has been good, but not outstanding. Today we went for lunch around 1:30. I ordered the Chicken Piccati and salad with their house dressing of tomato/vinegar dressing. The salad dressing recipe has changed and very spicey, almost inedible. The server did confirm they changed their recipe....not a good choice. The bread tasted stale on the first go around and I had to sort through the lemon sauce on the chicken to find the lemon seeds. The ambiance is not that great and the indoor booth seating is rundown and uncomfortable. It will be a while before we go back. read more

Linguini Bolognese was perfection. Their salad with house dressing is good, too, along with bread (just wish it was warmer). My kiddo loved his spaghetti with meatballs and insisted that I bring his leftovers back to Dallas. Our waiter, Autumn, was so kind and knowledgeable, and quickly took care of someone in our party when she didn't like what she ordered. Their titamisu was unique, but yummy. A "hole in the wall" kind of place. Small and full of locals- which is how you know you've found the right restaurant. The food is homemade and everything we had was delicious. The menu had lots of impressive dishes to choose. I definitely need to come back sometime to try other items! The home made rolls and side salad with a delicious homemade house vinaigrette were great. My daughter and I each got the pasta combo but one of us got marinara and one got Alfredo sauce. They both came out melty and bubbly fresh from the oven. So good! The cheese stretch factor was impressive! Both sauces were scrumptious. We got desserts to go. Tiramisu and Italian cream cake. It was incredibly delicious with the perfectly pounded out chicken breast, huge pieces of artichokes and a creamy, flavorful sauce. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake, tiramisu & carrot cake...all very delicious. The tiramisu wasn't too soggy, melted in your mouth.
