Terrible!! We ordered food for the office for pick up today, everyone wanted the Classic Burger. Dry, biggest piece of DRY meat, huge slice of tomato (thick) and the lettuce was brownish, no mayo, nothing. Fries aren't fresh, they're the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store. And on top of that, my burger had jalapeños added to it (which I ordered). And this is what was on mine, 3 jalapeños w the end stems on it! Are you kidding me!! Very nice restaurant with delicious food, great service and comfortable decor. However, keep your coat. When it is cold in Little Rock -- The restaurant is Cold too!. Whenever the doors open, which is frequent during the dinner hours, the wind whips through the dining room -- we were chilly all night. The fried eggplant in a tempura batter was light, tasty and a great start to a nice meal. The fresh fish options are always a winner here, especially with their cypress sauce of shrimp and hollandaise sauce. Good affordable wine list. no dessert- too cold to enjoy. I was passing through Little Rock and craving traditional Mediterranean so I went out of my way to try this place. A few things.. 1. That was not tabouleh. It was chopped lettuce. 2. Hummus and baba ganoush were not great 3. the pita was store bought and tough 4. Salmon was fine but the Athenian salad it came atop had almost zero of the veggies described on the menu and a few pieces of very ugly-looking (ie rotten) lettuce that someone should have thrown out. First, let's start with the server; Andrea provided fantastic customer service and knew her menu. For someone who understands customer service and has mastered the skill, it means a lot to me. We did not have a reservation, and they took us quickly. But we recommend you schedule reservations and not just walk in. But it was our first time, so we did not know this. We got the Norwegian Salmon, Capellini Terrace, the specialty plate of ravioli, and two beers, and they were so kind to give us a chocolate creme brule dessert, too. The environment was warm, cozy, and elegant; I felt we should dress up for the occasion. We recommend coming here for a special occasion, date night, or a show stopper for a special female meet-up. Ok so I went here for a birthday celebration. While the service was nice and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable about everything. The food was a little bland for my taste and the portions were much smaller than expected. The thing that got me was the server never mentioned any additional charges that might incur while we were placing the order. For example- we were asked if we would like our pita baked or grilled as if they'd both be the same price. The menu doesn't mention anything about pricing for those options either. I'm gluten free and when we ordered hummus, naturally wanted to see if there were other options other than pita. The server mentioned veggies and brought us a couple plates which was extremely nice until we realized we had to pay $4 for each plate. We got multiple dips which then added up to more. Overall we ended up paying over $200 when we didn't anticipate. Not sure if I'd be back for that reason. I wouldn't want to go to a place where I'm constantly feeling like it might be an extra charge. Just put it on the menu for transparency. read more

I came into your restaurant for dinner. I came in with 7 friends.Granted , they didn't know what fine dining was, and were a bit awkward , but the food was anything but fine dining. Their food was passable for them, My food was horrible. I was a chef and waiter in a previous life. I had Veal Piccata, the veal was overcooked the sauce was gravy. Broken and horrible. Lemon caper sauce isn't that hard. Your chef totally missed. Undercooked pasta with a dallop of Pesto? Steamed frozen vegetables? The meal was a total Fail. Amazing food, my new favorite!! Our first time there we went with a group of ten... a lot for their intimate dining room. It was a full house on Wednesday night. We must have tried all of the apps. YUM. The food was delightful and fresh. Beet root hummus? YES, MA'AM!! Variety of entrees, from vegan pasta Pomodoro, to fish, lamb, and veal. Everyone was happy. This is a really special restaurant that has been around for many years. The food is always fresh, full of flavor and great service. They also have an excellent bar program. They added an extra tip to our bill. On July 6th my husband and I enjoyed a decent meal at The Terrace. Between the two of us we had an appetizer, 2 entrees and 3 cocktails for a total of $107 and change. We added a $22 tip to equal $129 and change. When checking our bank statement the new total had changed to $137 and change. When we called the manager was very wishy washy on how to handle the situation. They wanted us to confront our waitress to get back our $8 or they could give us $8 in credit. We haven't fully decided what actions we plan on taking but returning will DEFINITELY not be happening. read more

First time here for dinner. My birthday! Atmosphere was quaint and private. Food was phenomenal: Fried artichokes and warm goat cheese for appetizers. I had the Veal Terrace and my husband had the Moussaka. Both were very flavorful! Pumpkin Pecan creme brûlée and cheesecake for dessert. They gave me a birthday dessert taste of chocolate creme brûlée in a chef's designed plate with raspberry and chocolate. We will definitely be back. Great menu! Hard to choose! Reservations recommended as it's a small place. Enjoyed a lovely dinner for my birthday. Greeted by name by hostess, obviously from the reservation, but still a nice touch. The room looks formal with cloth tablecloths, cloth napkins and subdued lighting, tastefully decorated in black white and gray. Service staff in classic black and white.Clientele ranged from business types in suits to casual, so dress up if you want, but shorts and golf shirts acceptable as attire. The menu is varied from $13. (Moussaka) to $45 (Halibut fish of the day). Interesting appetizers, escargot in mushroom caps with pasta in a garlic cream sauce, very nice. I had the chicken cypress, a dusted chicken breast sautéed finished with large shrimp, a hollandaise sauce with chili flakes ( just enough kick to lighten it) and fresh avocado slices. Simply superb. Dominique, our waitress, was new to the place but friendly enough to make up for some confusion about what came with what. The dark chocolate crème brûlée is not to be missed. The wine list leans heavily toward the Greg Norman brand, but they carry a brut rose sparkling wine that would probably be a safe bet for pairing with anything on the menu (next time!). I haven't been to The Terrace in years, mostly because the things that The Terrace serves (things like hummus, baba ganoush, and other Mediterranean dishes) are now readily available in many other places, and fine dining has been redefined in Little Rock. But it was fun to visit a place that has withstood the test of time--I first went to The Terrace in its original location! That being said, my food was tasty but nothing to write home about. I tried the shrimp pirogies, which in no way were pirogies but rather shrimp over eggplant with a spicy sauce. My dinner companions ordered veal Barcelona and moussaka. The veal got a higher approval rating than the moussaka. The service was outstanding, though, and the place was bustling, which made for great people watching. I will return--probably at lunch to see what that is like. read more

You will not find a better restaurant in Little Rock or the U.S. for that matter! I had escargot & cheese stuffed mushrooms over a bed of creamy angel hair pasta. With pita bread and babaganoush! In Little Rock $14 dollars, in Denver it would have been $25. The service and atmosphere is good for the soul. We lingered, not knowing they closed at 10pm, I saw our wait staff sitting by the kitchen. I asked him what time do u close, he said so politely.. 10 o'clock..it was 10:30!
