This restaurant came highly recommended, so I knew two things immediately. 1) I knew we had to try it; and, 2) I knew I shouldn't set my expectations too high. Well, obviously, we did try it, and they definitely exceeded my expectations! Roma's has a nice, warm, inviting atmosphere that was very nice for a lunch date with my wife. The bread they brought out was delicious and very hearty. The oil and garlic medley was great as well. My wife ordered the Stromboli and had to take half of it home. I ordered the lasagna and very much enjoyed it. The only thing I would have liked was to have an actual Caesar salad option. I was disappointed to learn that their "Caesar salad" was their side salad with Caesar dressing. It's just not the same as the real thing. That would have made the dining experience perfect. I have been here several times and as before the food is delicious every time my wife and I love the ribeye and that comes with mixed vegetables, zucchini, olives, artichoke hearts, bell peppers, with thin spaghetti. The ribeye cooked medium as ordered the grill flavor I'm describing is making me hungry again . The staff are always friendly and polite , with a quiet atmosphere, and that's good for digestion. Seemed nice based on reviews, the staff was horrid. Juan and some girl in the kitchen were having a shouting match. The whole restaurant was looking at each other very uncomfortably as they shouted at each other. Also, the hostess has a thing for sitting people right on top of one another. Had Sunday lunch today with wife and daughter. The rolls were delicious. Made me want to more but my daughter tooled them home with her Main course .Daug Had a Cabrera salad which did not go well for us. They used spinach instead of basil, to vingery. Almost no taste of balsamic in it. Very disappointed. I had the lobster ravioli which was overpowered by the super rich Alfredo sauce. I gave that to my daughter who is recovering from oral surgery. I'm so mad! I wanted to enjoy one of the desserts here but my stomach was so stretched from the delicious cuisine here that I just couldn't! Fantastic menu and dinners! My appetizer of sliced Italian sausage was stupendous. I love that the chef's uniqueness of utilizing shallots and cherry peppers(without the seeds) among other ingredients. This little restaurant is well worth the drive outside of Little Rock for a taste of heaven. Service is good, too. read more

Good things about this restaurant: the servers are all quick and friendly, and the seating is comfortable. Bad things: in short; the food is mediocre. Spaghetti was served with coarsely chopped raw vegetables obviously meant for use as pizza toppings. Not Italian of any sort, and not good. Tried reserving a table at this restraunt through phone call and asked about seating. I was rudely interrupted before I even finished my sentence being told in an annoyed female voice and tone that they only have seating for parties of 8 or more than hung up immediately and I mean immediately after she finished her sentence. The food at Roma is so good that we drive 30 miles from Benton just to eat here! Our server, Nikki, was very attentive and kept the glasses filled. The rolls are so scrumptious dipped in toasted garlic and oil that you can fill up on those if you don't limit yourself! My favorite, Shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, is enough for two more meals the next day. The Alfredo sauce is creamy perfection. My brother usually gets the steak and says that it is beautifully seasoned and quite juicy. My other brother always orders "The Works Spaghettini" with extra meatballs; he says it's the best he's ever eaten anywhere; he travels a lot, so that's saying something. My sister usually orders the salmon--always perfectly cooked and juicy. A Wonderful restaurant! read more

Traveling through town and Roma was close to where I was staying. Glad I tried it. Can't speak for the entire menu as I only had the Mediterranean Salad and the Chicken Margarita. Both excellent. The salad was fresh, the olives were full of flavor and the feta was delicious. The lemon, basil pesto on the chicken was very tasty and seasoned well. Even the spices in the olive oil that came with the bread were done nicely with just the right balance. Oh, and the bread was warm and fluffy. If the rest of the dishes on the menu are as good, Roma could compete with any Italian restaurant in any big city. Service was excellent and the owner made the rounds asking how the food was. Don't plan to go for the ambience or an Italian atmosphere, it has none of either. But, if you want a place to take the family for a taste of some great Italian food, a pleasant and helpful staff, large helpings and reasonable price, then check it out. Family recommended this place to us, and we have been thrilled that they have! The food is amazing! The bread and dipping oil is great, and I've had the baked pasta smaller and the Spaghetti "the works", and have loved both.
