They know how to soft wash at the right angles to avoid damaging siding/mortar/window caulk/wood fibers/etc. They also use just enough chemicals to make the property sparkle without harming the landscaping. We are in the process of moving and needed our deck powerwashed in February. I called several places but everyone told us they don't start powerwashing until March because it is too cold (understandable). However, George said he would do it and there was a 50 degree day predicted for the following week so he came out and cleaned the deck (and for a small extra fee cleaned the back of the house too). He did a fantastic job and the deck looks wonderful for resale! We would definitely recommend use him again were we not moving. read more

When he got here I was explained the difference in stains and was informed that he would not stain it because it would not look right, suggested I either do myself or hire someone. After getting several estimates and carefully choosing a company like this one, you may be very disappointed like I was. The estimates this company provides are based on a purchased service from the county that gives them details on the square footage of your property and it's structures which they provide an estimate from without viewing your property. I first engaged them to not only power wash our deck, but to also stain and seal the deck. The office staff was extremely responsive and very pleasant...however...as a homeowner, I was unaware of the differences in the stain (acrylic vs. oil vs. anything else) and was told they use a spray painter to administer the stain and sealant so they could not take care of the pergola on our deck for fear it would get on our siding. Very thoughtful you would think at first. We even thought them to be very accommodating and nice when requesting that stain be left behind for us to hand administer it to the pergola once they were done. Because they were so nice, I agreed to let them power wash the house as well. After a one day notice (even though I requested two) to remove all of our deck furniture and disconnect a permanently placed very large, very heavy stainless steel gas grill and move it into my home on our tile kitchen floor, the owner comes to the house and calls me at work to inform me that he can't stain and seal the deck after all because he thinks (doesn't know for sure) that it was previously done with acrylic stain and his oil stain won't be acceptable to be used. He could only power wash it. Yes, I used profanity (not at him) but to explain that it would have been nice if he came out to give the estimate and would have seen this before I had to disconnect and move my F...n heavy gas grill into my kitchen. I actually, conceded to let him only power wash the house and deck without doing the staining and sealing he couldn't perform and an hour later, he calls back to say he won't do the job because I cursed at him (which I did not and would never do to someone). I cursed at having had already moved the F...n heavy gas grill and now he decides he can't perform the job. Meanwhile it sits on my beautiful tile floor in my kitchen because there is no way to carry it down the winding staircase like the rest of the furniture. I guess it's time to go back to the other companies estimates. Too bad for trying to use small business owners like I try to do in this economy. The lack of personal attention from this owner and him not knowing or caring about the customers circumstances or point of view even after the NUMEROUS emails and phone calls made to his office about how they could provide a proper estimate without seeing the property went completely unheard and . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER! They have been extremely unprofessional in the manner in which they conducted business. read more

This is an honest review per our experience with George's Powerwashing. The bottom line is we cannot recommend this company due to the damage done to our porch ceiling, which we will now have to have replaced or try to have repaired at our expense. First of all, we asked that our porch NOT be washed due to it being fairly newly reconstructed with composite decking and vinyl railing. We had concerns that the pressure might be too much as we had never used this company before. Well, unfortunately George went ahead and washed it. I paid him, and a couple of hours after he left when things started to dry, I went outside to inspect. I was shocked to find water dripping from my porch ceiling, and random ugly dark yellow rings and drop lines and stains all over the entire length of the celing. I called George and sent pics and requested he come back asap to address the issue. He told me not to worry, that they were going out of town but he would come by when they returned, rinse it, and all would be fine. Six days later he came back, rinsed and rubbed and then finally told me he COULD NOT get the stains off. I was stunned to say the least. My husband was livid. George didn't offer to try any other remedies, or perhaps try repainting it or something, not even offering us a partial refund. He and Rita just basically shrugged it off and walked away. To be fair, let me say that the rest of the house was done just fine and he deserves to be paid for that. However, please ask yourself how you would feel having to repair damage from an area you asked them not to do in the first place.
