I have been driving by this building for years as it sat empty. About a month ago a new sign went up that a dentist moved in. Awesome, it's close to my house so let's give it a try I thought. Boy am I glad I did! I went for a routine cleaning and checkup today. The inside was nice, clean, and modern - not something I'm used to seeing for dentist offices. I had accidentally called their other location and didn't realize but they understood my mix up and went ahead and did my cleaning/exam. I was further impressed during the exam/cleaning with the newer technology they used for x-rays and the water pick used for cleaning (instead of scraping my teeth with the metal picks that I'm used to). Lastly, the doctor (not just a tech) did the cleaning, which I don't know if that is because they're new, or COVID, or it's normal - but it was a surprise and a nice touch. I plan on coming back (hopefully not for six months) and I suggest you give it a try too. read more

They shaved BOTH my front tooth into Canines, put Caps over them, that were 20-times whiter than my teeth. They probably did this, because I am Japanese, they are Chinese, +it's unfortunate that I have a TBI from a Motorcycle Accident, which prevented me from knowing Japanese History! Very unprofessional & rude front desk. I was in pain for weeks after my root canal and the dentist said "why are you still in pain , the nerve is gone" so I responded with "I don't know you tell me." What kind of question/statement is that to the patient. Then I had a whole ordeal with the front desk staff / manager where she was extremely aggressive and rude about a screw up on their end. Techs were great & nice from my experience. But I wouldn't recommend the facility. read more

After a great Vacation I was in pain. So on Nov. 3 2023 with a my tooth that was cracked. I Called got an appointment and that was great because by that point I was in so much pain. Went in and I got the best Dentist, Dr. Kostiuk. Dr, Kostiuk came in checked me out and got a X-ray. Came back in told me what she saw. I was ok let's get it done. It was pulled out. So now I went back in and got my Implant Surgery Feb. 5 2024. And let me tell you. I was expecting pain, lots of it. But to my surprise I was little bit of pain for about 6 hours. I saw Dr Chen specifically for an Invisalign consultation. No other treatment or "in house" products were ever mentioned. Every bit of email correspondence only spoke of Invisalign, from my words and theirs. The price was Invisalign price. The product was NOT Invisalign. Almost every tray I had broke, their answer was to move on to the next one, no matter the time frame. I had blisters under my tongue from the poor fit of these trays. When I started treatment with her, I had a few crooked bottom teeth, but a perfect bite. Midway through treatment I had told her my back teeth were no longer touching, top to bottom. I couldn't chew. She told me I had long canines and she could file them down. I knew this wasn't the case because I'd already had braces as a teen. My bite was fine before. I declined and said we could wait and see how things are down the road. My trays continued to break, it got to where I didn't want to speak because it hurt with the blisters from where the trays were rubbing my mouth raw, and my bite was getting worse. I started researching and realized I didn't even have Invisalign. I then compared with a friend who did have Invisalign. Mine were so cheap and awful in appearance even. After the fact learned that the Invisalign trays have their logo physically on the tray. I contacted the office by email and told them my bite was worse and asked when I was informed I was getting an inferior product and not what I paid for and agreed to. She would not answer by email and told me that Dr. Chen would like to see me the next day. The next day she looked at my bite, agreed it was bad, looked at my scans again and this time came to the conclusion that the scan had messed up and we would need to do a revision asap. I then asked her what happened with me not getting what I paid for. Her answer: This is cheaper!!!! My reaction:For who??? Certainly not me. I informed her this was not her decision to make. She agreed. She also told me that they use the term Invisalign as a generic term, because if they didn't use that term no one would know what they are talking about. She said that she talked to her staff earlier in the day to change their wording. I asked her what my options are now. She told me she could do a revision and TRY to fix what she had done or if I wanted Invisalign she would have to remove everything and start all over, including charging me like I'd done nothing. She had already exhausted the $2000 from my insurance at this point also. She acted very ugly to me at this point, like it was all my fault. I had been nothing but forgiving to her, UP UNTIL THIS POINT. I was more shocked and upset that this was her response, I just wanted to cry. She had wasted 7 months at this point, along with over $3,000. I would have never gone to a regular dentist if I was not using Invisalign. She was mad at me??? Either way I went at this point, the hardware had to be removed. When she removed the buttons from my teeth she left gouges in a few of them. I left there, cried, and never went back. I contacted them and informed them to cancel any remaining appointments. I now have a very bad open bite and cannot chew my food. I went and got estimates from other ORTHODONTISTS to see what it would take to fix my teeth. It estimates were $3,100-$5000. Now an extensive treatment instead of the "lite" that I started with. Another 9 month to a year. I had a lawyer write up a demand letter to get my money back that I paid out of pocket, my insurance money-because it was all a waste and now exhausted, And then what would be left over for another dentist to fix why she did-while using the product she told me I was getting to begin with. She did not comply. She sent me a check for what I paid out of pocket along with a letter telling me that I needed to find another provider, they would no longer treat me. Again, like I was the problem. I would run from this place. They are not trustable and she is not a nice person. The good reviews on google are most likely due to the fact that they text you a link to review them as soon as you walk out from your first appointment, and every appointment there after. If I would have reviewed then, I would have had nothing but great things to say about her. Fun fact, it's impossible to find a lawyer who does dental malpractice. read more

Wow. Unprofessional and unethical. Where to begin: Many doctors in this place; no clear idea of who you will see. Told to come in for my first patient exam and cleaning. A different doctor from the first saw me, spent 4 minutes, asked if I had questions and wanted to return with a 'plan' for my care. I already had a 'plan', so clearly she did not check my record. I asked for my teeth cleaning and was told I would have to wait 40 minutes. Explained I was told I would have an exam and cleaning. Doc returned and was terse and rude. She told me I would have to wait. I asked if she was going to review my xrays with me, she was again terse and said she reviews ALL xrays. Obviously not with the person who pays for them! Just a hot mess. I think she misunderstands wo works for whom. read more

What can I say about Dr. Chen that has not already been said below? She is a great dentist, a professional, kind, and knows her stuff. My family has been coming her for the last couple years and we will never leave her! Her staff is organized, attentive, and make going to the dentist a wonderful experience. Very pleased with the implant that I received earlier this year so when I needed two crowns I turned again to 3D Dental. Both crowns were finished today i.e. the permanent crowns were set in place. I am pleased with the work done and how it was done. All of the staff are very pleasant and the dentists spend as much time as needed to explain what will be done and to answer all of your questions. 3D Dental - Both Austin and Georgetown are GREAT! Yesterday, I had major oral surgery and all my teeth were removed - both the upper and lower Arch - about 26 teeth. I would NOT recommend this procedure for a fun Wed night. Thank goodness, the Dr (Dr Ho and Dr Chen at 3D Dental both made the visits memorable and almost painless - but always friendly, open and honest about the process). Luke who works as Dr Ho assistant was worth the visit. he made you feel at home, laugh, and will even offer to sing if your blood pressure is elevated. He was so funny which kept my mind off the impending work. The pain (yes there was a lot of pain even with IV sedation) was manageable. The temp dentures which were already made, so I could have walked out with a new set of temporary teeth immediately, would not go on because my gums were so swollen, but they will in the next week I hope. Dr Ho and Dr Chen are a great team and I would highly recommend them to you (I do not recommend too many dentists). Dr Chen gets A++++++++++. the office is brand new, state of the art.
