All the staff members are very friendly and very professional and seems to be very knowledgeable in what they do. My initial evaluation was only for digital x-rays by the doctor and a staff member who later told me that my entire dental exams was good and that I just needed some scaling and some deep teeth cleaning for both the right and left side of my dentition. I have already completed deep cleaning on the right side of which i am very pleased with the result and have an appointment to clean the left side early week of November 2023. I am very pleased and happy so far with the job they've done and will refer all my friends that needs dental work done to make an appointment with Leander Modern Dentistry.

Too Expensive, not really transparent with the bills which left us overpaying a bunch. We thought we had paid for the whole treatment but next visit we discovered we had to pay thousands more to continue. A few months later we started receiving some refunds because we overpayed a lot beforehand. Refunded close to $2000 so far. I guess our insurances got involved with the billing later and found we had paid too much? In my opinion, this is not a Clinic I would recommend. I've certainly moved on to another.

The front desk is so easy to deal with, all of the assistants and technicians are friendly and fun, especially with my children! And the doctor is very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of my questions. My father is a dentist and it was a very tough decision for me to seek out a dentist to take on me and my family now that he is retired. I'm very happy that my choice was Prime Dental.

I had an appointment at Prime Dental approximately one week ago during which I received concerning…read morenews and was presented with a treatment plan. This plan involves completing part of the procedure at your facility, part at Niva Dental, and then returning to Prime Dental for the final crown placement. In order to understand the total cost, I contacted Niva Dental directly to obtain their pricing, which required more time than expected. After receiving that information, I followed up with Prime Dental by email to confirm the full treatment plan and associated costs so I could ensure I had an accurate understanding before moving forward. I only wanted a temporary removable retainer, also called a flipper, to use for approximately four months following extraction. This would serve as a short-term solution until I am able to receive the implant and permanent crown that would allow me to chew normally again, without having to take anything out when I wanted to eat. Unfortunately, it appears there has been significant miscommunication. During my phone conversation with your staff, I clearly explained multiple times that I was referring specifically to a temporary flipper for this short-term period before proceeding with the implant and final crown placement at Prime Dental. I repeated this to ensure clarity, but it now seems we were not aligned. Yesterday, I was informed informally and not through official communication that the cost of the crown alone would be one thousand dollars more than what I had previously documented. This discrepancy is concerning and has made it difficult to have confidence in the information provided. I am also disappointed with the lack of follow-through in communication from Prime Dental. I sent an email on Wednesday and did not receive a response. After calling, I was told I would receive an email within an hour, which never arrived. I called again Thursday morning and was given the same assurance. When I followed up again later that afternoon, I spoke with another staff member who also confirmed they would send a written breakdown of costs. As of Friday, I have still not received any follow-up. By comparison, when I sought a second opinion at another dental office, I received a detailed quote during the visit, excluding the crown. After emailing them the following morning, they responded within an hour and provided the crown pricing shortly thereafter. The difference in communication and efficiency has been very clear between Prime Dental and the other office I sought the second opinion from. Even their Niva referral was better at communicating by email, phone, and text. At this point, it feels like there are too many people involved in relaying information, which is leading to inconsistent details and a "telephone game" effect. I would have appreciated a clear written breakdown of the full treatment plan and all associated costs from a single reliable source, especially given how difficult it has been to obtain written confirmation and a proper quote. Because of all of this that I wrote above, I have decided to let the other dental office do the work. I was simply trying to make informed decisions about my care, and clear, timely communication is essential in that process. Prime Dental has not demonstrated reliable follow-through or respect for patients' time. When commitments are made (saying you will do something, then you don't, again, and again, and again), they should be honored. As for my original visit, I liked the Dentist and her dental assistant. That is all. If I could rate them separately, I would. I received two different experiences.

This is my second review of Dr. Andrew Edmonds and his practice at 4405 Dental Studio in…read moreGeorgetown, TX. The difference between the two reviews reflects the outcome of more complex procedures - crowns and fillings - then that covered in my first review. The need to repair the week, worn and decayed teeth with fillings and crowns was recommended by several dentists many years ago. I held off simply because having these procedures was on the bottom of the million things, I want to do list. Also, all previous fillings and crowns were far from painless and effortless. Finally, due to the chronic pain and inability chew on both sides of mouth, I had no option then to let Dr. Edmonds perform the procedures. What I did not know until today is that Dr. Edmonds is an artist too. An artist due to the fact he sculptured my fillings and temporary crown on par with what Michelangelo could do. Having four other crowns and a mouthful of fillings, not one every felt as natural as those done today by Dr. Edmonds. Furthermore, and most surprising, was the fact that after 1-1/2 hours of drilling, fitting and picking there was "ZERO" pain, discomfort and sensitivity anywhere in my mouth after the local anesthesia wore off an hour or so later. Overall, the nagging pain in my mouth that existed from the cavities, weak and highly worn teeth, immediately and magically disappeared. One last comment, Dr. Edmonds has a high-resolution TV mounted on the ceiling of the treatment room. So, while looking up in the dental chair during the procedure you can watch a show of interest. Only problem was at times Dr. Edmonds hands cover my eyes causing me to miss some of the show I was watching. On the way out, I told the Doc to have a hole put in his hand.

My issues are with not being able to lay as flat as many providers want and limitations to time in the chair due to back issues as well as some types of procedures which have not been successful. I discussed all of these and we came to an agreement as to how to proceed. At my first appointment for x-rays and examination my requirements were met with the exception of the first hygienist who proceeded to lecture me. I asked for another hygienist for the cleaning and that request was honored. She used high pressure water to clean my teeth and for the first time I had no pain! Next came the removal of a crown because of decay below it and the building of a new one. Care was taken of my seating and time restraints and the work was divided into two sessions at no additional costs. Their equipment and techniques are all very modern and simplify many old procedures. The crown fit perfectly on first fitting. Overall, all the staff (with the exception of one) are courteous, well trained, communicate well with each other and with me as the procedures progressed. Every attempt was to keep me as comfortable as possible and to keep me informed as to what they were doing in my mouth. Overall a very positive experience.
