Georgetown Eats restaurant is on a 21-acre farm from the 1890s. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Examples of foods are omelettes, waffles, salads, corn dip, sandwiches, pork chops, steaks, salmon, and lobster ravioli. Drinks include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Catering is available. Through this restaurant's website, I made a reservation for dinner for my husband and me. Our table was available on time, and the seating hostess gave us a small table outside. I felt thankful that we were in the shade, because two other tables of customers had sun shining in their eyes. We enjoyed watching cats and horses roaming in the yard nearby. Our waitress had friendly communication but very slow service with errors. During our main course, she never checked in on us, so my husband never received salt that he needed. Furthermore, at the end of our meal, we waited a long time to receive our bill. She took our credit card and many minutes later gave us only an itemized slip, not the customer and merchant copies to sign. Many minutes later, we had to give her our credit card a second time, and she finally gave us the customer and merchant copies. My overall rating is still a positive 4 stars because the foods overall tasted very good. Our starter was the Bread Basket, which contained three types of bread--cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, and focaccia with dipping oil. My main course was Pistachio Glazed Salmon, which had moist salmon, a delicious pistachio-lime-cilantro glaze, and a side of coconut rice. I chose coleslaw as my side, and it was OK. My husband's main course was the Surf & Turf, which had a 6-ounce filet mignon cooked as requested, a jumbo lump crab cake that was very meaty, and mashed potatoes. His side was a tasty butternut-squash soup. The total price was $98 plus tax and tip. read more

I had the pleasure of dining at Georgetown Eats this past weekend. We tried to make it a Valentine's Day dinner but couldn't get a reservation, so we celebrated a day later. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It's located on an unlikely farm country road, but is such a lovely farm to table restaurant. The menu contains soups, salads, sandwiches and entree. I tried the BBQ Center Cut Pork Chop and absolutely loved it. The chop was perfectly cooked and very very tender. The man chose the Surf and Turf Special, getting a filet and crab cake. He also had the roasted pepper soup that was served with homemade bread croutons. He had nothing but rave reviews for his meal. The decor is lovely - like a modern minimalist farmhouse. We also had live music and wine from Nova Winery with our meal. Georgetown Eats is a very special hidden gem of a restaurant and I am so glad we stopped. It's not huge, so consider reservations. This little restaurant is located on a back road on a farm. It was very inviting and warm. It is nicely decorated. Every one was very friendly and welcoming. This is a farm to table restaurant. So much is house made and all fresh. I had the pot pie and my wife the roast beef sandwich. They had many gluten and dairy free options, this was awesome for my wife due to her gluten sensitivity and dairy allergies. Would definitely recommend if in the vicinity of Grove City Pa outlet stores. We will be back. read more

We went to the Valentine's Day dinner this weekend. The dinner featured a special menu with higher prices than their normal menu. I ordered the scallops and risotto. This meal came on a small college cafeteria plate. The 4 scallops were not seared and tasted rubbery. The risotto was dry, under seasoned, and cold. There looked to be a few cubed carrots in the risotto. The four asparagus spears were also cold. I can't believe I was charged such a high price for the meal I received. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive so we didn't make a fuss during the dinner. But afterwards my husband and I felt bamboozled. We went to the Valentine's Day special this evening at Georgetown Eats. It was horrible. Very expensive for small portions of poorly made food on cheap small lunch plates. I ordered scallops and risotto. The scallops were not seared and were barely warm. Flabby. The risotto was cold and dry and slightly crunchy. Just a wad of tasteless dry yet stuck together lumps of rice with what appeared to be little bits of cubed carrots like you get in bags in the frozen food section of the grocery store. Throwback to the 1950s cheap stuff. The broccolini was tough and stringy. The salad was minuscule and most of us didn't have some of the promised ingredients like bacon or egg. The whole experience was like a hospital or school cafeteria, but with the prices you'd expect at a super fine dining restaurant. We do not plan on going back. read more

I used to live in the area and found Georgetown eats a couple of summers ago. Since I'm in town for Christmas, I decided to take my family there and we went last night. It didn't disappoint! It's a small, quaint place down a country road. Our server was great. The food was outstanding and I was happy to be able to compliment the owner and cook. Everybody got something different. My mom got the pork chop and it was huge - so we all had a taste, and we all agreed it was the most tender we've tasted. One of us had the lobster ravioli and loved it, one had meatloaf. He thought it was great, one had salmon, and I had the braised short ribs over mashed potatoes, and I ate every bite. We shared three desserts and every single one of them was delicious. We also got the corn dip and it was as good as I remembered, and we got a bread basket. The next time I make my way back to this area I will be coming back! I highly recommend it. The food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. (sorry I don't have pictures - we all dug in as soon as our dinner came :-)) read more

This place was fantastic. We just happened to find it off the beaten path while we were headed to visit our daughter in school at Slippery Rock. Service was perfect, meal was amazing. We actually enjoyed it so much we cancelled our reservations at another restaurant and invited our entire group to join us at Georgetown Eats the following night after daughter's graduation! Found this place through word of mouth as it is close to our place in Slippery Rick, Pa. It truly is a beautiful countryside restaurant with the freshest brunch I've had since Covid. The owner came to the table several times. Server and attendee were very friendly. Eating here can require a tad bit of waiting as everything (and I mean everything) is made fresh. The whipped cream was made minutes before it graced our plate, and it was evident in the taste. Consider this a dining event if you have the time. The farm provides many of the ingredients. This is as "farm to table" as you can get, and it's done WELL. We took dessert home, but the mini tastes I took as I showed them to the table were on point. I'm interested to try their dinner in the spring when we return to the area. I'm sorry we found this at the end of our season, but I'm glad it was found! My omelet looks as if it might have been dry or "had a taste" from the browning, but it was surprisingly perfect. I'm very picky about my omelets and flavoring. I'd love to try another donut flavor as these were good, but ginger isn't my favorite (still good if you liked ginger. We got them to sample for the table). We will absolutely return any time we are in the Grove City, Pa or Slippery Rock, Pa area. read more

The food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional. My husband and I were there for Valentines Day and the place was packed. The surf, (crab cake) and turf was the best I've had and that's saying something since I'm from Florida where seafood is plentiful. My husband had the lobster fettuccini which he raved about. We sat on the patio which was very comfortable and we were surrounded by windows which looked out into the beautiful farm fields were we saw several deer pass by. The whole experience was tremendous. Our dinner was extraordinary, we started with the potato skins appetizer, followed with the homemade soup, corn chowder, (delicious), I had the scallops with risotto. The scallops and risotto were done to perfection. My husband had the filet mignon which he said was the best he has had in a long time. It was extremely tender and cooked to the requested temperature. The service was top notch; both the servers and owners were friendly and attentive. And to top it off for dessert we had the affogato and the trio. Both were fantastic. If you're looking for a reasonably priced farm to table meal, I highly recommend Georgetown Eats. We came for a Valentine's Day dinner and were excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the good reviews we had heard. Perhaps it was just an off night. They increased the prices for the holiday making matters worse. We must say that the service was great! We had a few servers checking in on us constantly, but the food quality was just not even close to the price they charged. Portions were very small and everything was under seasoned. Many of the items were barely warm/cold. Risotto was extremely underwhelming and felt like it could have been left over from the night before. Plates and silverware looked like they were from a cafeteria. The saving grace for the night was the carrot cake which was very good. Again, I think it could have been an off night with just too many reservations for them to execute well, but it will be tough to give them another try. read more

This is a wonderful restaurant in the middle of nowhere. The food is delicious and not overly expensive. The old fashion was one of the best I've ever had and made with local bourbon. Our server was attentive and recommended food as I had ever been. The apple cider donut holes were the perfect starter. We spent 100 including tip but got 3 meals donut holes and two drinks. Truly a gem! Just had to leave a review for this one. Food and service were excellent in a remote peaceful setting. We stopped here for Sunday brunch on travel for the Bantam Jeep Festival. I had the breakfast grilled cheese which had a savory sweet spin with jam on it. My friend had the big American breakfast with a hearty homemade bread toast.
