Yellow Creek Inn is a quaint restaurant bar that was converted from a house, It still looks like a house on the outside. My favorite meals here are the prime rib sandwich and the bruschetta sandwich. Their pies are homemade and delicious also the deep-fried cheesecake is something you must try and their peanut butter pie is to die for. read more

This is our go to resturant, close to home. Everything we've tried has been delicious and the service is friendly and makes you feel at home. I've gotten the best fried calamari here, even better than at the beach! Fresh and not chewy, with a nice light breading. They have a wide variety of beers, local and fancy foreign ones, which you can enjoy at your table or the bar. The prices are good and the food, great...this is where I take my parents when they visit and i highly recommend it. read more

We were directed to this place by the owners of the bed and breakfast we were staying in. The food was amazing. While there was a bit of a wait(and we're not surprised, it was a friday night, after all..) once we were seated, our food was brought to us quite quickly. I heartily recommend the Almond Amaretto Pork Chops and the Creek Burger, which are the items we ordered. Plus the Artichoke Asiago dip. Have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed until tonight. I ordered chicken pie which was delicious but my baked potato and Brussels sprouts were so cold the butter would not even melt on them. My husband also got a piece of coconut cream pie to take home and when we opened it up it was smaller than a child's size portion. We spent almost thirty dollars tonight and although the service was excellent the food sucked. So sorry. You all must have been having a bad night or else you got a new cook. read more

Went here for the first time this weekend for a late lunch. The food was extremely good. Wings were meaty, cole slaw was great and we split a very large Rueben that both of us really enjoyed. Ordered a to go salad for my mother, she has been going there for years every Friday, checked the box when got to the car and it was lettuce and some dressing. This was not what the "bjs" salad was supposed to be. Cost of $6.699 plus a $1.00 to go surcharge. Went back inside to question the contents. The "bartender" checked with the kitchen, they said it was right. Was then told I needed to wait for the owner or her son, the manager to credit my card, could be up to an hour before they were available. No response, horrible customer service. Don't ever expect anything to go to either match their sit down or to pay a surcharge for a styrofoam box. read more

I just had lunch here at the Yellow Creek inn & it was very good! The service was excellent and the specials looked wonderful and I had the chicken Cordon Bleu. It came with two sides and I started with a green salad. The salad was premade and a little bland - consisting of iceberg lettuce to plum tomatoes, one cucumber slice and three little pieces of onion, but the dressing was tasty and the roles were hot and it wasn't bad. The entrée was excellent and I had a slice of apple pie for dessert and for under $20 bucks this place gets a four star! read more

I found this place as me and my family were driving one day and decided to stop in for lunch and on my was it good . I was so stuffed when I left and we have been back several times since and even brought my whole family of 10 out the one night for dinner. You must try their lemon cake it is to die for. We always stop here on our way to Dubois to see the Elk. Food is fast and tasty. Servers are friendly. Lots of dessert options. Not far from the highway. I had the shrimp ravioli which was pretty good. Hubs had the fish fry which he thought "was actually pretty bad". Lucky for him I had ravioli left over. I'm sure we'll be back next year! Stopped by this weekend. We generally try and stop here when out riding because the food is great and the service is exceptional. I had the Kobe burger with bacon, bleu cheese and fire sauce. My wife had the Reuben. Both were outstanding. Topping it all off was the quality service and hospitality that you will not get with a larger chain restaurant. It is very close to where i live, so it is a change for us on occasion. It is quick and like I said staff is great. Tried the recommended fish sandwich. Stick to the burger. Certainly better than fast food. This was maybe my 5th or 6th visit in 12 years. I can say it is consistent. No better or worse than the first time I ate there. Sorry folks, it's just my opinion. Every time I go the place is always packed but we get seated right away! I would recommend the prime rib, the blackened steak! This is a very nice little place, service was great, food was great, and price was nice. I have had lunch there once, I had the turkey club and chili, it was alot of food, and very good. Second time was my family and I, my wife had meatloaf and mashed potato's and gravy. I tasted it and it was really good, kids had cheese sticks, fries, and spigetti, they ate it all up and got free ice cream! I came here with a friend and her family on a weekend night. They have a full bar which we didn't expect with it being such a small family homestyle food style restaurant. My friend and I split the meatball hoagie and the pot roast special. The pot roast had great flavor, but while I noticed some people around us who had ordered the meal had carrots on their dish, ours didn't have any. The meatball hoagie was advertised as being a "knife and fork sandwich" due to being covered in sauce and smothered in cheese. The sandwich was actually very easy to pick up and eat like a normal hoagie and I thought there was very little sauce. We noticed other people had bread at their tables, so we asked for some too, but I'm not sure if it's automatically supposed to come with the meals and our waitress forgot or if people have to ask for it to get it. My friend and I had chili as our sides which was just ok, and my friend's husband thought his meal of the hot turkey sandwich was just ok. Overall, the pot roast and meatball hoagies were very good and I'd return to try more of the menu. read more

We started eating here about a year ago. We have taken virtually all our friends and family to the Yellow Creek for both lunch and dinner and have spent several evenings at the bar just eating appetizers. Staff is very good and the owner is there most times we've been there. I think their chef is really good and usually has some unusual (and good) specials. This is a great place for families or couples. If you like grilled cheese - this is the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area. read more
