I don't give a low score for atmosphere unless it's dirty. The restaurant wasn't dirty looking, so I'm okay with that. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I didn't need to ask for a thing. So that was nice. So why the low score? The food. I had biscuits and gravy, two eggs and hash browns. Not sure what was going on with the biscuits. I guarantee you that they are not homemade. They tasted more like bread. Nasty! Gravy was flavorless, with specks of sausage. Again, the gravy tasted like it was out of a can. Eggs (over easy) were cooked perfectly. Then there were the hash browns. They use the patties like you would get at a fast food restaurant. To make homemade biscuits and gravy is so simple and cheaper for the restaurant to make. The hash brown patties is basically saying, "I just don't care." Homemade hash browns are more impressive on a plate and again less expensive to make. It looks like they have no competition when it comes to breakfast. Instead of "calling it in" why not find your passion and cook food people would brag about!?!
