They are kind and clear and I've come to really enjoy seeing their smiling faces in the morning. The teachers my two sons have had have all been amazing, unique and passionate and when my children are with them, my mind is at ease. My older son - who has recently rejoined the school for "Summer Camp" with some of his buddies - did the kindergarten program last year as a Farmer with Mr. Juan and he went into his current school so well prepared in both reading and math that he was able to focus on the other huge changes that come with switching schools. I feel so lucky that my children have been able to start their educational journeys at this amazing place. Thank you!

I love Goddard's use of the Tadpoles app where I get daily pictures and updates about sleep and activities like the babies going for a ride outside in the buggy, playing with bubbles, reading circle etc. I couldn't imagine better teachers, there are two for the six infants and there's a shift change midday. They're all extremely capable and work a lot to help develop motor skills (i.e. encourage tummy time, sitting, crawling). They care so much about the babies and clearly love their job. It's such a relief to have a safe and loving place to drop our guy off at everyday! Great care is expensive, but it's worth it for my family. Claim a spot early, we signed up about six months in advance!

We changed daycares because we moved and wanted a daycare slightly closer to our new house - and we have had no regrets with the switch! After touring, we were attracted to the welcoming staff, new and clean building/environment, ample play spaces, and structured curriculum and schedules. We knew this was somewhere we could send our son until he goes off to Kindergarten. We were really drawn to the fact that they sign the teacher's contracts for a full school year, ensuring minimal turnover (our previous daycare had an incredible amount of turnover in staff and admin, which we found very disruptive to our son's routines and to us as parents). Communication between the school and parents has been wonderful (e-mail and detailed daily reports) and all of the teachers and admin really seem to enjoy what they do.

My 3y/o is writing words already(!), and my infant is getting way more attention and support through bottle-feeding transition, crawling, teething, etc. than we ever got at my eldest's first school. 7a-6p hours are great for us (both working parents), and above all, both of our kids are happy and genuinely thriving here. Ms. Shaheen led the tour, I was pregnant at the time and in tears at the thought of my son being away from home for the first time (2 at the time). The amount of care and patience she took with answering all of my questions without being pushy or short ultimately led to my decision to enroll my son. Here I am, two years later and my older son is thriving. He is able to learn at his own pace with the full support of the teachers and supporting staff. Every single staff member knows my name and my child's name. My younger son is enrolling this Fall and I am feeling confident knowing both of my sons will be with staff that I love and trust. What we love about this school is that they offer a 5 day/week program with an aftercare "lunch bunch" option. (They also have a 2, 3, or 4 day per/week option). So, my son has school from 9:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday-Friday. I don't think that any other co-op in Rockville has this much schooling for the 3's age group. Another great thing about this preschool is that they have the option to BUY OUT of the co-oping duties! This year is especially busy for my family because we also have an 8 month old baby and we are very limited on time. (I love this school's flexibility!!) RCNS' location is beautiful. It is surrounded by wonderful green space and a fun playground! My son enjoys playing there with his friends when his aftercare is finished. (During this time, I enjoy socializing with the other parents!) In all, I would highly recommend this preschool for parents looking for a co-op with a more flexible schooling option! The classrooms are clean, bright, and well-stocked with age-appropriate toys and activities. My child always comes home happy and tired from a full day of play and learning. The staff provides regular updates throughout the day, and they're always responsive to my questions and concerns. My child has learned so much during their time there.. And they make it all fun for the kids, which is a huge plus! In addition, I appreciate the healthy food options provided by the school for my child during the day. The facility ensures that my child receives well-balanced and nutritious meals. Furthermore, the daycare provides me with a photo of my child's meal after lunch, which offers transparency and insight into my child's dietary intake. Finally, safety is a top priority at Goddard Daycare. There are secure entrances and exits, and the staff is always vigilant about keeping a close eye on the children. The teachers there are so wonderful and caring, and it has been a delight for our whole family and so enriching and positive for my little girl. The school as a whole has the smaller, family oriented feel and there are two teachers per classroom for pre-k.
