Vibram soles being adding to boots
    Joevi F.

Noah is still doing amazing work. Full VIBRAM sole replacement on a pair of old Coach snow boots. I still highly recommend him for any type of shoe repair or work for leather goods.

Hours of operation according to the website

I dropped off several pairs of shoes and was told to come by at Friday at 5PM to pick them up (my receipt said after 4PM on Friday) with Friday's hours listed as open until 6PM. I explained I really needed one of the pairs of shoes for an event on Saturday. I showed up at 4:30, 30 minutes before I was told to arrive, and an hour and a half before the shop was scheduled to close according to both my receipt and the website. The shop was closed. The shop's website lists working hours on Friday from 9AM-6PM. There is a sign up stating the shop will be closed on Saturday but nothing about an early closing on Friday. I suppose this is a warning to all - the craft shoe shop does not abide by their scheduled hours. I understand that issues arise but I needed those shoes, I explained the need, and I arrived exactly when I was supposed to arrive and well within working hours. There was no communication about an early closing, not even a notice put up. I also live 30 minutes away and had come here due to the favorable reviews. In my opinion this is terrible customer service and unannounced early closings make this cobbler unreliable. Now I need to go out and purchase a new pair of shoes as they are also apparently closed Saturday. I most certainly will not be back.

The wood-looking heel cover, along with the bottom of the heel, have been replaced.

The leather on the heal was dented and nicked up and so I just haven't worn them and i did not want to get rid of them. I decided to bring them in to see if they could be restored and low and behold the gentleman behind the counter told me that he could replace the leather on the heels and Shine the boots up and restore them. They look amazing when I pick them up I couldn't belive how nice they looked. I was also able when I came back to get the step savers for the tips of my new shoes. The shoes are pointy and when I'm walking it was scraping off the front of the shoe where the tip was so I wanted to add step Savers to preserve the tips of the shoes. The prices were very reasonable he didn't overcharge me in fact he charged me a few dollars less than what he originally told me when I came in to get the tips put on the shoes. This will definitely be my go-to place in the future when I need shoes repaired or restored. There are not many cobblers in the area so when I found this one I was happy. Definitely if you're looking for someone to restore repair fix your shoes and I believe they fix other things. While picking up my shoes a gentleman came in with a suitcase and he wanted some straps replaced on it and they were able to do that as well. So definitely check them out if you're looking for a cobbler.

I had my receipt and tried to return them. My receipt does not state that there is a 30 day refund time frame. The back is completely blank. I went into the store to try to return them and was I told I couldn't because it was after 30 days. I asked where the 30 day time frame came from and the "sales associate" pointed to the black pad where you sign for your credit receipts. However, my receipt didn't have that information on it so I asked again and she said that a manager I'd have to come back and ask for a manager to see if I could get a return. I asked to see a manager and she said that the manager wouldn't be in until Monday. Monday? It's Saturday. She then lied and said the 30 day information was in the shoe box. I gave her to box to look, as I hadn't opened the box since it was purchased, and of course there was no information about it in the box. By then I was hot because I was not provided with the 30 day information with my receipt. I would have understood had I had that information. She then said I'd have to call customer service and gave me the number. I told her to call customer service and, then, lie 2, she said that customer service wasn't open on Saturday. That was lie because when I left the store (after I was angry and she threatened to call to police. Who does that for an upset customer in these times? People are killed by police for far less) I called the customer service number and customer service picked up and said they would reach out to the store to see if I could get my refund. The lady from national customer service called me back later on and told me the store was going to refuse my refund because it's outside of the 30 days (it's October 10th). National customer service seems to be willing to help me out since they acknowledge that not having the return information on the receipt is a problem. I say all this to say 1, realize your receipt does not give a return by date on it so go at your own risk. 2. Customers aren't always right and yes, I was pissed, but each store must realize where the customer is coming from when they are told they can't get a refund when they have no documentation that says that. Every retail store, especially this one in a shopping center that keeps losing major tenants, need to remember that many brick and mortar stores are dying. If you're in a seemingly dying industry, each store should work to keep customers coming back. Who knows how long this particular store will last in this environment when you can order online from Amazon/Zappos and have no problem with returns. I won't buy from Red Wing shoes at all anymore and will encourage everyone else I know who is in need of work shoes to buy from Amazon/Zappos.

I called January 10 to say I would pick up by the 24th.... Then SNOWMAGEDON happened! Mind you... I took my repair to this particular shop from a personal friends' review.... So today ( Feb 2,2026) I drove down to pick up my shoes..... The owner looked at me with confusion as I handed him my repair ticket. I described my shoes to a T...5 inch stilettos with a wide crisscross strap. Still confused face. I literally watched this man walk over to a pile of shoes and rummage through pairs and pairs of shoes to eventually find mine on the bottom of the pile.... Dusty and half stripped . So I knew work had started on them bc I did not drop them off in the condition I took them back in. I inquired as to why they were not finished and he said " it's been busy, then snow". I also asked why he did not tell me he had not finished them when I called ( and I gave him the tix number on the 10th of January). He shrugged his shoulders. At this point.... ZERO APOLOGY! ZERO offer to complete the repair at a 25% discount.... I did not ask him for one. He said... and I quote..." you said take your time".... In my mind and most other customers minds.... Take your time means in a reasonable time..... HE gave me the date of completion for Dec 27.... Again.... Shoulder shrugs! How does someone run a business like this? Lack of respect for my shoes ( found on the floor) lack of honoring the delivery date with ZERO APOLOGIES. Then have the audacity to place blame on THE CUSTOMER for not having the repair FINISHED because I stated take your time! SOMEONE MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE TO ME!!!! I called my friend who highly recommended MASTER REPAIR SHOP in Rockville Maryland to me and let him know how my repair project was treated. He was beyond shocked. Many apologies from my friend but not ONE from the OWNER! Please avoid this shit hole ( physically a nasty mess... where my shoes were found on the floor) AT ALL COSTS!!! The owner is CLUELESS on how to provide great customer service. It was HEINOUS AND DEPLORABLE AT BEST! With the damage done to my shoes ( because he started my project) the price to fix them at another shop up the road was 50 dollars MORE... at $150.00! That's double the cost of the shoes when I bought them. When the owner said he would fix them in the next MONTH ( I have a late Winter wedding to attend and wanted to wear the shoes in question) I nearly lost my mind! I stared at him with such disappointment .... He then said... and I quote..." You didn't pay YET, so here" and held out my shoes to take. I took them and as I left I told him what I thought of his shitty customer service in Italian, Spanish and English! I'm sure he understood ONE of the three languages I speak! Master Repair Shop in Rockville, Md is a horrible place to have your shoes repaired. The customer service is beyond repair itself and I will NEVER EVER allow this shop to work on any of my shoes if I'm in need of repairs. It should NOT TAKE over 7 weeks to repair something this simple as my repair needs..... in his words! A complete disaster and I give Master Repair Shop in Rockville, Md a negative 10.... -10 !!!! Zero stars!!!! Had to put one star rating other wise it would not allow me to post! But still.... ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! A total shit hole! Kathryn L

I really wanted to wear them to my cousins wedding and this shop came recommended. I originally thought the strap needed to be shortened, but the staff suggested a different fix. They told me that adding a pad under my foot and a non-slip band on the strap would solve the issue. It helped a little, but not completely leaving me somewhat disappointed. In addition to not receiving a complete fix, what really disappointed me was the service or lack thereof. The man working there barely looked up from what he was doing and never asked me to try on the shoe to see the problem for himself. He gave short, vague suggestions and seemed uninterested in actually helping. I had to walk back and forth to the shelves three separate times to find the products he mentioned, rather than him taking a moment to show me where they were. The whole interaction felt dismissive and rushed. The shop itself is tucked away inside Tysons Mall, so it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. While it is convenient if you are already nearby, I would not make a special trip back. For a store that specializes in shoes, I expected more attention and care. The experience left me unimpressed and still struggling with the same pair of shoes.
