    So far, so good…read more First off, read your contract - monthly plan with quarterly services. I was confused at first, but it makes sense. There are other companies that don't make you sign a contract, but it comes out more expensive and more like a sales pitch every visit. It's nice that the techs come out as often as needed. Great customer service and professionalism from the techs I've met with first 2 visits. Pet and child friendly repellent. We have insane carpenter/fire ants. After the 2nd visit, we haven't seen any since. Easy online portal for account and invoice payment. Recommend!

I tend to dismiss those reviews since they don't really have much skin in the Yelp game. There were just two elite reviews and that was a red flag to me as well. Nonetheless, I decided to give this company a chance and got a same day appointment to rid us of our carpenter ant issue. We've had carpenter ants running up and down our garage exterior for a long time and in the last few days we've had flying ants show up in our living room. It was time to bring in the pros. One thing you need to be aware of is that you can schedule an appointment for this service, but like most pest control companies, they will insist on a quarterly service agreement on top of the initial service. Our initial service cost was $134 which included a $75 discount that came with a $53 monthly payment for each quarterly visit. That comes to over $700 a year ( not including termite issue) for the basic service which does not apply to fire ants. Since I accepted the discounted initial service I had to sign up for a years worth of service before I had the option to cancel. That's something you need to keep in mind because that's a lot of money just to snuff out a few ants. The one and done service doesn't really pay the bills, it's the subscription service that drives the business. My same day appointment was scheduled between noon and three, they ( tech +trainee) showed up shortly after two. I let the tech know about the ant issue and we walked around the perimeter of the property while he swept away wasp nests. Inside he sprayed some powder in the upstairs attic while looking for any possible rodent infestation. The tech did spot some termite activity at the corner of the garage. After spraying the perimeter and infected areas with poison, he then treated the yard with ant bait that looked like Andro. We decided against spraying chemicals indoors due to sensitivities. The discovery of termites greatly added to the bill as pictured below. I'll go ahead and get the termite service and the quarterly check up during the contract period. I thought I would include all the bills and pertinent information so that you can get some idea of what you might experience. One thing that did catch me off guard was that after they left, I received a brief survey which then led me to a tip screen for the tech. It's not that he didn't deserve a tip, it was just the first time I had seen this form of online solicitation. Overall great experience with knowledgeable and friendly techs, not real happy about being funneled into a monthly payment plan for quarterly visits, but we'll see where that leads. Since having to helping my 17 year old fur-son cross the rainbow bridge couple of years back, there's no concern for chemicals and contact any longer, BUT if you do have pets in your home.Absolutely no worries. They followed instructions meticulously and E never got ill. Very grateful. Pricing is very comparable, and I think the service is actually better than anyone else in the area. Maybe I'm biased? They offer complementary touch ups in between quarterly services which is fantastic. If I see a bug in my house, it's most likely dead. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

They just seem to come in from everywhere. We have a baby at home and wanted something that would be safe to spray indoors (and outdoors) with our little crawler. Chance came out and did a thorough job spraying our home. He called ahead to let us know he was on his way, and he was very easy to talk to. He sprayed the inside, and I also observed as he did a thorough job spraying the outside of our home as well. I've learned the hard way that if both the inside and the outside are not adequately sprayed, the treatment won't be as effective or last nearly as long. Greener Texas Pest guarantees their work for up to 60 days. Although the first spray reduced our pest problem substantially, I put that guarantee to the test because we really do get more than our fair share of roaches, and they came out to spray a second time. After this second spray, we haven't seen a single roach! Greener Texas Pest is my new go-to pest control service! Chance was awesome, and we highly recommend him!

    UPDATE: We've been working with them for over 6 months and…read morethe rodents are still there. Today we hired another company- super expensive and frustrating. I'd recommend them for quarterly sprayings only; not exclusions/rodent removal. . . . Greener Texas Pest is a great company and has been spraying our house for over a year now. They're great to work with and the customer service is outstanding. I also love that their product is organic and much safer for my children and pet. Last month Joe came to spray and noticed rodent activity. He did a full enclosure and set traps. He has gone above and beyond to set and check traps and help us with this problem. I'd highly recommended Greener Texas Pest for quarterly spraying and specialized services such as rodent removal. THANK YOU GTP and Joe!

    Okay, reducing to 1 star based on the ridiculous response by the owner…read more (1) He said I'm bringing up the rat problem 2 years after his sealing work, and well past the 1-year warranty mark. In fact, I notified him of the rats returning SIX MONTHS after his sealing work (and he didn't reply). I attached a screenshot of my text message to this review to prove it. Did the rats overcome his exclusion methods, or did they survive for six months in the attic w/o food or water and then migrate to where I could hear them? The former seems more likely, but we'll never know, because, as I said, he didn't deign to reply when I asked him about it. Which also means, the warranty is useless if he doesn't actually honor it. (2) He said he "got rid of rats". He did not. He did only the sealing, I caught the rats myself, as per our agreement. (Then six months later, well within the guarantee period, I heard more rat activity.) (3) He said that I "let my warranty expire", putting the blame on me. Not true. First, I contacted him *within* the warranty period, and he didn't reply. Second, he never billed me for the warranty renewal when the time came up. Third, I contacted him again, after the initial warranty period, asking how to continue the warranty (e.g., pay a re-inspection fee plus the warranty extension?), but yet again, he didn't reply. So, it was impossible for me to renew my warranty, because he flat-up ghosted me. (4) I didn't "give a bad review because we won't coach him on doing an enclosure for his rental property", it was because, in part, he didn't REPLY to my repeated inquiries about that (as well as his not responding to my message about rats returning within the supposed warranty period). Multiple other contractors have been happy to take my money to provide some education and training about their trades, and if Matt didn't want to do that, that's certainly his call, and he could have said simply so. But he didn't, instead he just blew me off. (5) It's rare that you see a business owner insult his customers (e.g., "This guy has no life." WTF?!) It's funny because had he made a normal, customer-focused response, he might not have lost any business, but now he definitely will. Who wants to hire someone who's so contemptuous of anyone who dares to relay their bad experience with the contractor? (6) He says "As a customer he gets a no-star rating." So exactly what was my transgression here? Trying to report that rats returned within the first-year warranty period? Asking if I could hire him for additional work? Trying to contact him multiple times and getting no response, *before* posting online that I tried to contact him multiple times and got no response? Yeah, I'm a real jerk that way. If Matt doesn't want bad reviews, he might consider replying to his customers when they make inquiries to him, and then not blaming the customer when they point out that he wouldn't respond to their messages.

    Matt was recommended to me several years ago, and his work sealing the house was so good that the…read moreroofers commented on it and asked who did it! He comes back every year and checks to make sure everything is still sealed up tight against critters. I'm having my roof and gutters re-done in a couple of weeks (thank you Central Texas weather...) and I will be having Matt come out again to make sure everything is still sealed up once those folks are finished! Hire Matt as your Critter Guy - he knows his stuff! And he is my hero!! I am terrified of snakes, and when I saw a rat snake slithering around the bushes in my front yard I was OK until I went online to positively ID it. One of the pictures was a rat snake coiled up, mouth open, just SCARY looking, and I kind of lost it. When I left a voicemail for Matt telling him I needed to get on his schedule to check and make sure the house was still sealed up it was apparently pretty obvious how upset I was (I really did try and be calm...). Matt said as soon as he heard my voice mail he knew he needed to come help me! He stopped on his way from one job to another, removed Mr./Mrs. Rat Snake from my yard and checked the roof to be sure there was no way any of his/her friends could get inside.
