SCAM ALERT! Avoid hiring GEORGETOWN TAXI AND LIMO at all costs!! I hired them for a 12 person sprinter van on Friday for a ride to and from Austin with a group of friends. They gave me a deal cause it was last minute but they told me because of that I had to pay them upfront in CASH APP. I should have known better but they said they've been in business 30 years and they needed that cause it was discounted. So it made sense to me. I paid them $300 upfront. All of us were gonna pitch in for it. They CANCELLED on me 10 minutes before they were supposed to pick up. They didnt even provide a different vehicle or any other option. They said they would refund my money immediately. They didnt. And now they are ghosting my calls and texts and nobody is getting back to me. Turns out I looked deeper into they have scammed several people. They are representing Georgetown as their "local limo" service. Mistakes happen and I am understanding but as a business owner you always take care of the customer when problems happen or at least pick up their calls. I feel so burned. read more

Back on December 13,2024 I called this place because my husband had gotten off the greyhound bus went into the store to buy something and the bus ended up leaving him. So the greyhound said if I could get him to Austin they can get him a ticket so I call this place they charge me $126. The gentleman that answered was quick to send me text and the cash app. So another bus heading to Dallas pulled up and took my husband with them so called to cancel before they even showed up. Then gentlemen tells me they are just about to pull up so I tell him that if he could charge me for the trip just for going to the store. Let me tell you this gentleman says let me see I'll call you back so wait 30 min nothing so I am calling and calling he ain't answering I even send him a text. It took him about an hour to answer my phone call. When I finally get to talk to him, he tells me that they don't refund the money but that he would talk to his manager who won't be in the office until next week and then they would return my call. No phone at all and we are already in January and I went on the website and nowhere does it say anything about no refund on cancellation. I can't believe this company literally took my money and did not even give me any service I got scammed big time. I should of read the reviews first I can't believe that these people could actually do this but I would never recommend this company to anyone. He sends me the text I told him I'm making sure I have the right bus station he sent me the photo. Terrible customer service, do not recommend. Scheduled a late night pickup from ABIA. It was quite overpriced, but preferred a guaranteed pickup. Driver arrived on time, but car was in bad shape, dirty, low end, with red warning light on dash. Made it to my home destination, but later realized I was charged twice. If it was minor, I might have let it go. But to be charged twice for an already overpriced ride ($170 twice!) I called to get it fixed. I've left over 5 messages, no return call, no credit back to my credit card. Bad business, will never use them again. Buyer beware. read more

I would give zero stars. This place claims to service Georgetown BUT when you call them you cannot get a driver without waiting FOREVER. You are told 'about 20 minutes' which then turns in to never or you are left waiting for 2 hours. I work at a retirement community with residents that can no longer drive or prefer not to drive. We have a resident that waited over 2 hours to then just give up because a driver never showed. Each time I called for an update or an ETA ... I would get the 'let me check with the driver and I will call you back.' Nothing...no call back...no driver and then when I called AGAIN for the status on a driver, no one would answer my call. This has happened multiple times. On top of ALL of that ... they charge our resident $60 one way to take them a mile down the road and $60 to bring them back. Unbelievable. read more

Can't say enough about Trey and G'town Taxi! I had a 6am flight and needed a ride to the airport at the inhumane hour of 4am. I had looked at airport shuttles before thinking of checking local taxi prices, and I was thrilled to discover that my hometown taxi was less $ than the airport shuttle (which is some chain and not independent), AND by going with G'town taxi, I got to determine exactly when I wanted to be picked up--not so with the airport shuttle! With the shuttle, I'd have to share the van with others (I'm not anti-social or anything, but the idea of not having to ride w/ppl before the crack of dawn was appealing to me), AND therefore I'd have to leave the house at 2:00am in order to catch my flight (to account for picking up other passengers). Ick! 2am!!!!???? And I'd be paying more than a car I got all to myself. No brainer, really. Okay, so that was already great, but then it got greater--Trey was super-responsive, never seemed to mind my near-psychotic need to confirm the pickup time via text like three times leading up to the day (I tend to be a worrier, hah), and then he was super-professional, courteous, and careful in person. The ride was as smooth as can be, he was there exactly when he said he would be, and he was a true gentleman in opening my door for me both at pickup and drop-off. So being available 3 days before an event, and charging a set rate for pick up and drop off both ways, and having good customer service are the only good things about Georgetown Limo. When the mid 90's/late 90's limo showed up we were all concerned. The roof on this stretch limo(I'm guessing in 1995 this would have been considered a stretch limo) was completely rioting and weathered, then the back windows were broken, one was slightly cracked open and stuck that way. The head liner was hanging and needs to pinned up. If they could repairs these issues I would use them again, but if not I'd rather pay an extra $100 for a nicer limo. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Do not EVER use this company as they are frauds and scam artists. Let me start by saying the Limo was late for pickup of my daughter and her court on her special day of her sweet 15. The limo was beat up and dirty. The owner came to our house the next day to ask for cash for the service which we did pay in full and then has the audacity to charge our credit card an extra $280 after we had already paid them $400 cash for a 3 hour limo service. My husband called and informed them that they charged our card after we paid in cash and Trey said he would call him back once the credit was given. That was yesterday and still no call and now his number is disconnected - how convenient. They have messed with the wrong one as I will be filing a police report and reporting fraud to my credit card company. I will also be taking them to court, as I will not play when it comes to someone placing fraudulent charges on my card. Williamson county court house here we come, and trust me I have proof that we paid cash along with his had written receipt, thank god for a RING doorbell that records everything. read more

This review is from services in December. Trey C is the owner and driver. He said he would make up for the horrible experience by giving me a refund. I have only seen $40 back ($420 charge, plus $80 cash tip). He claims that business is bad (I wonder why), yet he can afford a brand new SUV. Anyway, on to the experience... *I basically had to force my parents to tell me the truth about what happened* In December, I treated my parents to a nice outing including the ballet and a dinner, all expenses paid. I hired Trey to drive them around. He was given all the address beforehand and knew where and when to be at places. Now, this was all on that Sunday when temps did not get above freezing (fluke for austin, yes). I was relieved my parents, both who have back problems, would not have to deal with parking and walking in the cold to the ballet or restaurant. They had his number and, as instructed, notified him when the ballet was done so they could be quickly picked up. Instead, they STOOD IN THE FREEZING WEATHER AT THE CURB FOR 30 MINUTES before he showed up. After picking them up, they headed to a restaurant in northwest Austin. Not only did he not know where he was going, he drove dangerously. He drove the wrong way down a street. He almost got in an accident (he might not even be aware of it). When they did finally reach the restaurant, they had lost an hour of time due to Trey's incompetence so they had to rush through dinner. On top of all this, he was constantly on his phone (gps, call, or text). Considering that most of his business is in Austin, you would think he would know the hands free city ordinance. Also, it's just dangerous. Well then. After I found out what happened, I was appropriately livid. I attempted to call him throughout the day but he would not answer and his voicemail was full. So, knowing that he was avoiding my number, I called from a landline and he IMMEDIATELY answered. He had no excuses for his actions. He admitted he had a bad day and it was not a good experience for my parents. I brought up the hands free law and he didn't know what it meant. I suggested that he make this right. He offered a refund or free rides in the future. Why would I ever want to get in a vehicle with him? He said he would refund me half the money in a week. In the end, time goes by and it's not until February that I see $40 back on my card. I waited to write this because I was giving him the chance to make it right. I was very patient (4 months!). Clearly he is unable to do what he said. Trey is an awful driver and bad business owner. He is dangerous on the road and completely incompetent. He cannot be trusted to do what he says will be done. I would NEVER recommend his services or use him in the future. I forgot to mention he told my parents he had been up since 2 or 4 am (totally safe to drive, right?). I was basically sick when I heard what happened. He absolutely ruined the day for my parents. I completely regret hiring Trey and cannot emphasize how bad of an experience it was. read more
