Reasonably priced. Four tastings of your choice for $15.00 - $18.00 with the souvenir glass. I'm a fan of reds where's my husband likes them all. The decor is cute without being cutesy. Live music on our Sunday afternoon is always a welcome bonus! We will be back to try more of their menu selections very soon.

What a cute shop! We stopped by on a Saturday evening because there was live music and wine tastings! Also knew that we'd have to be seated to do one, so I wasn't too worried about having to find a place to sit. Service was friendly, but if your expecting a guide to tell you all about the wines, tannins, etc this is not the place. More of a relaxed setting that lets you decide and do as you please.

Great little shop on the Georgetown Square. They offer wines that you can purchase and take a plastic glass of and walk around the square and shop. The women working at the counter were all smiles and had great recommendations. They have kitschy gift shop gifts, local goods, and some snacks you can purchase. There are a few café tables inside and some chairs outside to enjoy your purchase. The wine was just fine, more light and very sweet, but the experience and service at this laid back tasting made it a worthy stop. A must stop when experiencing the square to enhance your time!

First time here on a Saturday during Market Days. I love this place and look forward to becoming a member when I move to Georgetown this summer! Super friendly staff! My friend and I were greeted promptly and given an overview of the wines for our flight-sampler. We scored a small table. This was a huge win as there are limited seats, I believe up to 25 seats. The staff checked in on us as we tasted our way thru the wines. When we finished tasting, we bought a glass of our fave wine and continued to walk through market days on the square. Anywho, if your walking the Georgetown Square, stop in for a tasting and or a glass or 2. Cheers.

I had stopped and had wine testing. The staff were all friendly. I had 4 different wines, 2 red and 2 white recommended by staffs. All of them were really good. It's a small cozy place for a good wine and chat.

My sister came to visit so we were on a little adventure. She wanted a souvenir so we stopped into some of the shops downtown. We landed in this wine room and ended up sitting for a wine flight, good conversation, and lots of laughs. While we didn't get a wine membership we did buy 2 bottles and cigars for Dad. The staff was lovely and their COVID practices made us feel safe.

Nice chilled laidback spot for a spot or two to wine tasting. Room and tables to seat 1 at the bar to larger groups in the back. Lots of fun wine related plaques, signs, wine toppers, shelves full of bottles and every imaginable gift item for wine lovers. Nice indoor garden feel from the string lights lining above your head. Very rustic and cozy feel with all of the wood from wall to wall shelves to tables and chairs and floors. They serve wine in plastic cups. In the back there are olive oils to try out.

I love the ambience. Had a glass of cabernet Sauvignon and walked around. The shop is quaint and the service outstanding. In addition to tasty wines, they sell fabulous trinkets. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard! I took photos of the towels and signs that made me laugh. Check them out. BTW, I'll be back.

We often stop here for a glass or 2 of wine. The people here are always welcoming and kind. The wine selection and good and prices are reasonable. If your hungry they don't have a full menu but they do at least sell finger food snack items. They also sell great local spices, maple syrup, olive oil, and other great items. Great stop at Georgetown square!!

Quaint tasting room right on Georgetown's Town Square. Really friendly staff and affordable wines and other miscellaneous related items. Not as typically over-priced in a boutique type setting. All wines are made from Texas grapes; harvested throughout the state. No concentrates. Tastings are $10 for 4, including 1 desert (their ports) wine if you'd like. Take the souvenir glass with you for an extra $2. [Note: Someone else mentioned something about $5 tastings at a certain time; they no longer have a $5 tasting] GW had the standard selections of sweet, dry, red, white. The Chardonnays (both oaked and "un-oaked") were OK. The Sangiovese had a nice smooth finish. Pretty much what you would expect for Texas wines - which have improved so much in the last 5 years. I like fine wines BUT, I could not resist sampling a few of the "Fruit" wines they offered. How could I not try Funky Monkey (banana and pineapple favors), Jalapeno Wine (just how it sounds with funky green color), and the Sweet Raspberry Chipotle (aka Schitz & Giggles; definitely taste the raspberry with a hint of smokiness). Lastly, the Portejas tawny port. If you like ports you might want to give this one a try. And for only $15 a bottle (OMGosh!) I had to take one home! Cheers!

Great winery, and even better wine. I love all the wines but especially the port. They have a nice staff that is willing to help as needed. Cute gift items are available too. They also have a wine club which is a fantastic way to try new wines. So refreshing to enjoy a glass a wine in Georgetown from a non-chain establishment. Dan and Becca are great to work with, I hope you enjoy a visit soon. read more

I love this place and have been a member for years. Desert wines are excellent, if you are a member they give you healthy sized tastings, the wines are affordable and the Texican wine is great. The winery itself is a nice environment and a great place for a date. Friendly staff and the owners are great people. read more

The wine is good but the tasting attendant just tries to sell you a membership and if you decline you can't even stay and enjoy the wine... members only patio and tables... wish we would've know that before driving out here read more

A wonderful place to go for a glass of wine, a wine tasting, to purchase a variety of great wines and accessories plus to gain knowledge about wines and the many steps involved to get it to the bottle. Not to mention the extremely knowledgeable and cordial owners, Dan and Becca. They are service personified! Long story short: went there with some biker friends of mine and was turned away. The reason: We all wanted to buy a bottle of wine and set and listen to the band. We were refused. Lady behind the bar said unless we were members we could not buy a bottle of wine and drink it on the premises. Will NEVER GO BACK!!! read more

Very pompous about there TX wines ,while I support local products there are many wines on the shelf at HEB at half the price and we are not pressured to join there wine club.I again dont understand how they won awards,mainly for "flavoured " wines.Maybe when the competition comes to town they may step up and do better and realise they dont have the best wine in USA or even TX.They have a great wine club that you can join for $50 a quarter and recieve 2 bottles of wine of their choice,one way of getting rid of slow sellers read more

By far the best winery in Central Texas. They charge a very small fee of $5 to taste their wines. They have 25 to choose from. Wide range of sweet, whites, reds and WOW the dessert wines are to die for. The interesting fact about this winery is the quality of the wines. The Red are full bodied and well rounded. The whites will whisp you away. The sweet wines are dangerous they are SO good. We have visited several of the bigger wineries in Texas and feel we are moved in like cattle and moved out of their tasting bars. Georgetown Winery actually has seating and you are encouraged to taste and enjoy yourself and the wines. We were really suprised to see that they do have a vineyard and are very open to giving wanta be grape growers info on how to get started as the table next to us was inquiring. This is a MUST if you are in Georgetown Texas. With 6 years under their belt and over 200 International Wine Awards you won't go wrong. We signed up for their Wine Club and will be regulars to this winery. DON'T BE FOOLED by the tasting bars in this town. This is the only winery that presses its grapes, ferments, ages and bottles its wine in Georgetown. read more

A must do while in Georgetown, TX is to visit the "The Square" in downtown Georgetown. My favorite place to stop and relax is at The Georgetown Winery in its period 1885 shop. The wines are not just good, but have won many honors & awards. My favorite time is on Friday & Saturday nights when they have live music and a great mix of local & visiting folks. My favorite is the Peach Wine. The owners are a young, fun & welcoming couple that always invite you in and strike up conversations with you. They also make a large line of olive oils and balsamic vinegar & will ship wines and gift baskets. See you there ... :) read more

Her assessment of the root beer was 5 stars for the wonderful taste and creaminess. I give their "Up the creek" IPA my highest recommendation. In fact, I joined their beer club just for that IPA. Today we visited the winery side for a tasting where we tried a white and 3 reds. I highly recommend the Texas white Vermentino. The reds were good, and I need to go back and try them again as I felt the 2 ounce samples shared between the 2 of us wasn't enough. Took a bottle of the Vermentino home to enjoy. Prices are very reasonable with no bottle over $28. At the brewery I enjoyed one of my 10 quarterly beers included with my membership (Up the creek IPA of course) and my wife enjoyed another root beer. The staff is friendly, the vibe is cool, and the venue has a great laid back feel. We are fans!

Other places I had called were strict on a time limit: four hours, three wineries...Amber & Amethyst Tours said they would work with us and our schedule...we never felt rushed to move on to the next spot and had time to sit together and enjoy our wine at each spot! Every place we went, they were ready to open the door for us, help my 92 year old grandma get her walker and get to the entrance, and they even labeled and packed all our snacks and wine bottles purchased along the way. Dianna and Lou were so kind and so much fun! I'll be contacting them again!

The wedding oak wine train sells out pretty quickly. I have been waiting almost a year to get a…read morebooking. I finally was able to book a ticket for eight of us. The train leaves out of Cedar Park depot. You do have assigned seating. At the Cedar Park depot, they do have bathrooms. I suggest using them because the bathrooms in the train do not open for at least 30 minutes after you leave the station. In the train, we were provided with some snacks and drinks. The drinks include a coffee, hot tea, cold, tea, juice. The snack was a Chex mix. They do have a cart when you can buy some more snacks, but not anything hardy. We did take charcuterie, boards and snacks with us. They let you take an ice chest on board as long as there is no alcohol in it. They do check your ice chest. The train ride is about two hours to Burnet, Texas. They do give you five tastings while on your way. The person delivering your tastings is from the winery and has a lot of information regarding the wines. We were in the Maurice car. In the Maurice car, they have tables with four chairs each. It can get a little cramped. The chairs are not the most comfortable but adequate. Once you arrive toBurnet, they give you two hours to go to the winery or have lunch or do both. We went on a Sunday in the majority of the shops and restaurants were closed. We did end up eating pizza and pasta at a nearby restaurant and then heading to the winery to enjoy some wines. At the winery, we bought three bottles of wine and shared between eight of us. We did get to take Wine home, but they do put it in a different cart until you arrive back to Austin because you are not allowed to drink alcohol that is not provided by the train. Once we arrived in Austin, everything went smoothly to include our pick up of wineand disembarking. Parking is available on site. The train has volunteers that help you throughout your journey. They are super sweet and know all the history of the train. They also have a car that has nice reclining seats. They told us about it on the way back and we were able to take a nap there.

So had to keep checking my phone to see if there was a link to close it. Finally after the timer was up to order food, the option to close the tab popped up. During the movie I received a notification that my card was charged. The girl had told me it wouldn't be charged it would be applied to the gift cards. Went to the front to get my balance on the gift card I had left and come to find out they applied my gift cards to another table. The manager figured it out and gave me my balance owed back on a new gift card. I walked out the door and then turned back around to find out about my credit card charged, I wanted a receipt for the refund on my cc. Someone in front of me was getting comped 4 movie tickets for their troubles. The manager could not give me a receipt for my credit card and said I needed to just wait 5-7 days. Not sure why when there $5 close out fee also showed on my credit card and showed up right away as refunded. I missed many parts of the movie and the fun of going to the movies. No way would we come back here to watch the Star Wars movie, ended up going to the Cinemark and it was great! Sometimes the old ways of doing things need to stay the same.

Don't get me wrong, it's cool and definitely adds to the experience if you're into that kind of thing. It just caught me completely off guard. If you scare easily like me, just prepare yourself or maybe skip the moving seats altogether. Overall, still a good theater, just... mentally prepare if you're not trying to be part of the movie

I remember, back in the day, that theaters had air conditioning. They would be cold so, I would…read morealways bring a jacket or a blanket. My sister and I went to see "Obsession" at 12:40, yesterday. When we got to our seats, we noticed that it was humid, hot, and stuffy. We had hoped that once the movie started that the air would come on. Unfortunately, it never did. It was so humid and hot that we left before the movie ended. It was so stuffy that we felt tired and sweaty. We were sticking to the chairs. This theatre is within .2 miles of our home. It's very convenient! It's a great theatre and the reclining seats are pretty great! However, if one has to sit in a stuffy, hot and humid room for 2 hours, it becomes an awful place to be. We understand that prices are going up for electricity. However, we bought tickets and concessions. Is the theatre making enough money to use air conditioning? Wasted money and will not be going back.

I've been a member here for a few years now with my husband and we couldn't be happier. I have been to a ton of wineries in Texas but out of the ones I have been to, Georgetown has the BEST wines. We joined the wine club because we liked every single wine that we tasted. I find that rather rare in Texas...especially when it comes to red wines. We were just there this past Sunday and bought their Malbac and it is delish, and I know now that when you find a wine that you love here you buy at least a case of it! I fell in love with the Tempranillo when we joined and didn't realize that there would only be limited quantities of it! As far as their tasting room, yes, it is very cozy, and I do recommend going. And since we are members they are very generous with our tastings. We love to compare different years of the same wine, and we each easily go through 3-6 tastings. Of course with all wineries you need to remember that the wines taste different every single year...one year they could be the most amazing ever and the next year could change. But overall in the past few years I have loved the majority of the wines made at Georgetown Winery. read more

Fantastic!!!: Absolutely the best experience in Texas Wines. Everything about this place is great from the fact that most of there fruit is Texas grown, they just nailed one out of the park! I highly recommend their red wines and dessert wines. The winery is in a building that is over 100 years old and was restored to its original state. The winemaker/owners were was Texas friendly as you will find. You have to love the southern states and the way they will go out of there way to make you feel like family. This is definitely a must visit when in the Texas Hill Country! We have sampled plenty Texas wines and this winery nailed everything on the menu. Also the downtown that they are in. Feels like you are in Europe OMG this town is so cool and to have this jewel helping promote them is a HUGE plus. read more

Another amazing winery in Texas. Wow the Texas wine makers have really stepped up there game. We enjoyed the ports the best. Also if you are a true Texan and you ain't scared try the Jalapeno Wine WOW it is hot and spicy. The atmosphere is great and seeing the new Olive Oil & Balsamic Tasting bar was really a great touch. You can taste for free and use your container and get a huge discount our just buy theirs. This is a must stop and a great place to have a tasting and a glass of wine. As a member and regular visitor, we love this place! The Wine Club is a great value when compared to some of the other area wineries. We have met so many new friends and get to listen to local musicians while enjoying their many wines. What's great is that the owners and staff are all friendly and there are always new wines coming on the menu. If I could make any changes it would be to add more space and extended hours. My preference is for the sweet wines like Blue Berry and Peach. Don't miss out on their seasonal Cranberry Wine which is our Holiday favorite! read more

What a find. WOW this place is amazing. Great service and great award winning wines. This is a one of a kind find in Texas. They make a port that is infussed with Chocolate and Cherries is to die for. From what I saw it won numerous Gold medals and Best Sweet wine in Texas. The winery in on the historical square in downtown Georgetown and the building is over 100 years old. If you are looking for a great winery and wines then I highly recommend this stop. I've never drank wine here but have been in a few times. Everyone is nice, cute, but I have to give it 5 points because I think it is on the only location on the square that is dog friendly! They keep a water bowl out front. If they ever have a wine tasting or olive oil event I will probably go. Every now and then I walk by and "the smokers" are hovering around and that keeps me out. Oh, during the poppy festival -- best. margarita. ever. $5. read more

I am new to the area and have frequented the square often in the last 6 months. Love the wines at Georgetown Winery and the friends I have made while spending time there. It is a quaint little place, comfortable and a great place to relax and have a glass of wine! What a nice winery located in downtown Georgetown. Friendly staff and amazing wines. We really love how the wines here aren't overpriced like a lot of Texas wineries. We really enjoyed the sweet peach, cabernet, Viognier and the dessert wines. They are open 7 days a week which is great. We did the tastings for $10 and you get to taste any 4 wines on the menu. While shopping on the square, I stopped in with friends to have a glass of wine. The winery was very fun & relaxing place. The owners & staff were great & treated us like family. What a awesome winery. We have traveled all over the US going to wineries and this is a top notch place. Meet the owners which is rare to find at other wineries. We got to visit Georgetown Winery this past Saturday. What a nice tuscany winery. We never thought there would be such a great winery in the heart of Downtown Georgetown. The Georgetown winery has a great choose of wines, gift items and olive oil. Need a snack they have wonderful cheese trays. A great place to hang out enjoy friends, wine and music on Friday and Saturday nights. I will go back. read more
