We went for dinner for my husband's birthday. I think they were serving a large party upstairs. Part of his dinner was missing (a seafood trio which came as a duo) and was overcooked. I had stuffed scallops, but they were not rinsed so there was sand in them. But the waitress was great and tried to make it up to us by comping a dessert (homemade donut with whipped cream which was very nice). I've heard they're great for lunches, but we won't be back for dinner. read more

Love! So in love. Just a southern restaurant with all the homey feels. Everything was so fresh & perfectly cooked. Shrimp were great. Crab cakes- not too cakey. Just perfect. We were seated at a cozy table in the back room, which allowed for quiet conversation in this bustling, family oriented restaurant. Our server was very welcoming and professional. We went here last minute on a Saturday. We had a party of 7. We were seated quickly. My husband and I usually have the restaurants in a 50 mile radius covered. I was pleasantly surprised because we had never been here, somehow this fell off our radar. The decor was very festive for the holidays and somewhat nostalgic which went along with the restaurant theme. Our waitress was very efficient and kept our drinks filled and honored all request quickly and accurately. From seafood, to steak, and a juicy burger our whole party was pleased with their food. Although we were stuffed, the homemade donuts for dessert were tempting. Next visit! An aside, the restrooms were super clean with added amenities, a very nice touch. I met up with friends while in town on Thanksgiving Eve for dinner, who suggested we try Georgia Dean's. We arrived about 6:30 and had no wait to be seated. I was impressed by the neat appearance of the facility and the professionally attired staff, who performed their duties well. The menu had a good variety, including steaks, seafood, burgers, pork, and my choice - chicken parmesan. My friends both ordered a bone-in pork chop. Our meals included a salad, which they were happy to customize to our preferences. Salads and entrees were brought to the table in a reasonable time. Servers were good at checking with us often to see if we needed anything. My chicken parmesan was delicious, and an ample portion. What a treat! We are driving to OBX from Nashville and just happened to find this place on Yelp. I love the 60s building, friendly staff and GREAT FOOD all made in house. The rolls were outstanding, the crab cakes appetizer was small but mighty delicious. I had the scallops stuffed with crab that came with a side and a side salad and my husband had the ceaser with beef and shrimp. Both entrees rocked. Best part? If you want a steak in Williamston..this IS the place. The atmosphere is a little uppity for my liking. We had really high hopes for this place after reading the reviews. What we found was a circus with no manger...we asked for her. More than 75% of patrons had no mask on and most of the servers had them below their nose. When we asked for the manager we were told I'm not sure we have one, by the teenage host. Waited for over 20 minutes with lots of open tables but were not seated. We finally got disgusted by the number of patrons who were allowed to stand in the waiting area without masks. This place is clearly anti-mask and we will never be back. 1000's of people a day are dying and it's places like this that are the cause. Tried this place for the first time at a company holiday party. I love the feel of the restaurant. It's in an old house with lots of interesting rooms, our event was hosted upstairs in a cozy room with interesting decor including a full size mounted bear haha. We had an assortment of finger food and appetizers, fruit and cheese, pretzel dogs, meatballs, shrimp, crab dip and spreads. My favorite was the crab dip. We ordered off of a limited menu with their most popular choices: cajun chicken pasta, steak and potato, salmon, fried seafood. I ordered the ribeye which was cooked to the perfect temperature and tasted pretty good. The baked potato only came with butter and sour cream so I would have enjoyed more fixings, but all in all it was a pretty great meal and the staff did a great job of attending to our party of more than 30+. We even got free strawberry shots which were really tasty and fried donuts for dessert. read more
