For a growing crowd, the service never wavered. Excellent and attentive. We were told the food would be an hour before we even ordered. That's okay they have plenty of cold beers to choose from (no draft--cans and bottles only). Our food was only 20 minutes max and very good corned beef. There are two main rooms, one with the bar and the other with pool tables. We will need to check them out on a date other than March 17.

Beautiful, jazzy, Art Deco space. They had wonderful cocktails to choose from, cold draft beers, a big wine list, and very interesting food. We felt like just tapas, we got the empanadas and the "naked" egg rolls. We also got one order of smoked mac and cheese. The empanadas were too hard. I wish they were a little softer, but the egg rolls were delicious, and the mac and cheese was shockingly good. Probably the best I ever had. They have these really cool individual rooms that you can rent with friends if you want to make a special night of feeling like you're in a different world back in time. Definitely worth a visit.

May sound rough but it's the truth. My family the other two buildings on each corner diagonally from them. The restaurant's building is disgusting. It sat for years with the mold growing inside. Building spend several years empty after which a restaurant moves in the gets 5 feet of flooding with each hurricane flood. These restaurants inevitably move out for obvious reasons. Years pass before next restaurant moves in. They paint the walls and away they go. Besides my family owning a couple of buildings by the water you had Doug "The Mayor of Water Street". He owned the other 7 buildings. It was gross inside back in early 90's. Nobody has ever stripped it to studs and brought in professional cleaners.
