I was taken in on time. All told, I was there a total of 1 hour, including the taking of X-rays and a procedure on my knee! Dr. Burris renders excellent care and takes the time to get to know you and engage in friendly conversation. In a time when one often expects lengthy delays, especially when visiting a specialist, Pinnacle Orthopaedics is a breath of fresh air.

She called me sweetie and within 2 minutes felt like it was her job to give me her "shpeal" as she put it about bring my CT scan and that I needed to do that and not always does their system work or can they log into Wellstar. I was trying to explain to her that it was an old CT scan and then she stated "Well then we don't need that and it doesn't matter" after cracking her knuckles and berating me. She was snappy and rude. My husband even was shocked at how she was speaking to me. I told her I would speak to my Dr about these matters at which time she just looked at me like I was being rude. She didn't realize at all that I have been in the medical field for 30 plus years and would never speak to a patient this way. She continued to talk to me like she was my Dr! at which time I again said, I will speak to my Dr about these things. Then she kind of laughed and walked out of the room with a huff. I did mention this to my very wonderful Dr. who was very professional and listened. I will stay a patient. Even when checking me out the MA came in, rolled her tongue over her teeth, cracked her neck with a head roll, and proceeded to ask me (thank God) yes or no questions about getting an MRI. Thank God I'm very well versed in all of this procedure so it was short. She really needs a class on speaking to patients that are in pain and new to the facility. And, she is NOT a Dr. she has no right to be acting this way at all as a medical assistant

She understood exactly what I needed and created a plan for me, to try alternative solutions. This took over a year. Anytime I went in for my appointment, I was always sure that I was in good hands because she is very thorough, understanding and knows what she's doing. Over one year later, I now walk without crutches and without pain, and without ever having surgery. A combination of process and procedures went into my healing and Dr Sylvia was one of them. The reason I took out one star was because of her rude receptionist whom I am hoping no longer works there because she ruins the expectation which greatly contrasts the amazing consultation you get from Dr Sylvia. I went in needing real help -- a torn ligament in my hand and PT for a ruptured Achilles -- and left feeling unheard, rushed, and without progress. Dr. Jonas' nurse was amazing, but the actual treatment did nothing for my thumb. A cast and an overpriced brace gave me no improvement in movement or sensation. Over three visits, I spent barely 15 minutes with the doctor, and each time I was brushed off. My last visit ended with him rushing me out the door without even referring me to PT to regain use of my thumb. I paid premium prices for zero results. The Achilles PT wasn't any better. I paid for an hour but usually got 30 minutes of exercises I could've done at home with their app. No real support. No real recovery. Every patient deserves quality care -- and that's not what I received here.

They tell you up front you will be taken care of and manage your pain BUT that is not the case. My wife has had a terrible experience with this practice. After the surgery the Doctor prescribed medication ( Severe Asthmatic clearly in my wife's medical history) with a warning of Severe Asthmatic don't take! My wife is a Severe Asthmatic. So when she would not take the medication fearing breathing issues.. they would not prescribe anything else for the pain. Over a week she went without meds in severe pain. Then they prescribed Tramadol which did not help the pain. Called office "crickets" days go by and when they respond no solutions. This is an ongoing issue but my suggestion is FIND SOMEONE ELSE and ask alot of questions before trusting the Orthopedic practice has your best interest in mind. They want your money but do they treat you correctly as a patient with you best interest in mind. Not here on the latter. Also: Dr Bilotta did not give adequate information before or after operation. General info like ice is your friend but not details like after 1st week need to use ice 20 minutes every 2 hours at most (per Physical Therapist ) when this was supposed to start who knows because the Doctor sure didn't tell us. Also not informed that blocker used pre surgery could leave you with feeling not returning in some areas. This blocker is used so that you won't need to be on as much narcotics after surgery... Communication from Pinnacle is TERRIBLE! Note: EVEY is terrible nurse/representative for Pinnacle and Dr. Bilotta. Very disappointed in this Dr's office.

Other surgeons didn't want to do the surgery or even recommend someone partially due to the complexity and my age of 74. Dr. Potts never hesitated and was confident of good outcome.
