Sad to say that their first two crops of the growing season was destroyed due to frost. Driving back home from Florida we always stop by here for peaches and everything peachy. Upon arrival I didn't see any peaches and Anya told us the sad events that led to no peaches. So what better way to getting your peach fix on? Buy everything else that has peaches in it such as sweet peach tea, peach cider, peach salsa, southern peach bbq sauce, and to top it off glorious soft serve peach ice cream. All was so good and delicious. The ice cream was a hit with the family. First time trying the cider and bbq sauce which was epic together. Man it was a hit at the party. Driving back from Savannah to Florida we saw signs for Peach World. When you get there it is definitely not the place you are expecting. I looks like an old fast food restaurant that has been refitted. However with that being said everyone was very friendly and happy to be helping people. You can sample anything in the whole store. They greeted us with samples of the peach slushees which are delicious. I bought a bottle of the Peach Cider which the slushy was made out of and plan to mix it with my iced tea for an Arnold Palmer of sorts. We also got a jar of peach salsa. There is actually a large selection of items. Some are pricier than others but this is a local small business which is always good to support. It is definitely worth the stop for any peach flavored Georgia treats you may want. A quick tip if you are wanting to purchase any of the moonshines or wines you cannot until after 12 on Sundays per Georgia state law. They also ship anywhere in country if interested. read more

Whoa! This place is not only was crowded, but they got everything peachy. Whether it be Peach bread, peach jam, Peach pieces, they got it. Also, they carry Amish produced spreads such as apple butter, blueberry butter and the like. As well as everything pecans. The only thing that could use Improvement, is they sell the peaches outside, and you have to pay for them separately from the stuff you buy inside. Edit: After stopping by another place in SC, not only is GPW overpriced, it wasn't as good, as I would have expected. The Peach bread is more than 2x as expensive. Billboards overhype this place and leave one expecting a peachy Buc-ees size roadside attraction but instead it is the cutest little store with the nicest people, amazing products, samples galore and very clean bathrooms. I stopped at the exit 87 one once and didn't even go inside so I understand those that feel disappointed when driving up. But the exit 58 one was such a pleasure once I did go in. It was winter so no fresh peaches or crowds but every product I purchased was perfect. Georgia peach lemonade is my new favorite beverage and I can't wait to go back for more! One of my favorite pitstops along i95. Their peach slushies are LIFE!!! I love their peach butter, and their peach crumb bread. Everything is delicious. The staff consists of younger guys but they are all so sweet and helpful, and bring a southern charm to the service. You can order all their products online too, which I love since I only get to go 2 times a year. As far as handicap accessibility, I will say that the South store is easier if you're in a wheelchair, but the North side's entrances have steep ramps so if you're wheeling yourself it does take extra effort. read more

Okay, the food might not be the very best but they get points for being a fun stop on a long drive. It's a nice place to stop and stretch your legs. The staff was super friendly and said how much they loved working there! They do have lots of samples out for tasting which was good. Problem was that most just weren't that great. I did like the peach and Vadalia onion salsa. We also got a peach pie that only just okay. Before we left, we treated ourselves to some soft serve peach ice cream. Wish it had a bit more peach flavor but it was fun to sit outside and enjoy them. If you're driving through Georgia's East Coast on 95, this place is a must see. A cute, quaint little shack turned everything peach shop. They even boil their own peanuts on site. They have a wide range of wines, moonshine, etc. all for sampling. We even found Mead (honey wine) there! They have salsas, nuts, jellies, baked goods, too much to name! It was incredible! Is this a tourist trap? Yes. Is it still worth stopping and indulging in everything peach flavored? ABSOLUTELY! I stopped by Georgia Peach World on my way from Savannah to Jacksonville when I heard they had peach soft serve ice cream. The store looks like a little shack off the side of Interstate 95, and there are tons of signs leading up to it. I was skeptical, but if you are a fan of peach flavored things, you have to stop here! I love that you can sample almost everything in the store. From nuts, to salsas, to drink mixes, to slushies and ice cream- they have so many awesome peach flavored goodies! They can also ship anything in their store straight to you. I fell in love with the peach soft serve ice cream in a cone. Bought 2 loaves of peach bread. I love peach bread. Unfortunately, after trying a couple of pieces out of each loaf, it was extremely dry. I couldn't eat it so I threw two loaves of peach bread away, because there's no way I was going to eat it. The sad part is I live so far away I can't return it. I spent $50 in that store on two loaves of bread, peach salsa, and a magnet, I don't know how much the peach bread cost, I paid no attention to that, but I'm assuming it was the bulk of the purchase price. But then again I ask, aren't we all a little trapped in our needs and wants for sometimes a bit over priced goods and products. Georgia Peach World: I liked the experience. The staff is super friendly and informative. They sell much more than just Georgia peaches. Whatever they sell it's local and fresh. It's not really big to call it Georgia Peach World. The shop is small yet full of things they are selling. They are located across a street from a gas station. While driving on 95 you will see signs and ads for Georgia Peach World. It's a good stop if you have not been there before. They have Peach ice cream and slushies for a yummy treat apart from fast food places on the highway. The ice cream tasted perfectly delicious and decadent. I bought pralines which lasted me a while after coming back from my trip. The pricing was $12-$14 for a decent size bag of pralines, pecans, almonds etc. They had many other goodies such as peanuts, honey, jam, fruit, souvenirs etc. A good pit stop for a quick expensive treat but I doubt I'll be stopping there again while going to VA. Saw this place and went there. Bought some peach salsa and pralines and peanut brittle inside. Bought peaches outside was told had to buy the bushel they were in. Could not pick a few or hand pick them. The nice young lady said she just packed them in the buckets a little bit ago. Paid $16 for the smaller bushel and when we got to our destination about 5 hrs later. The peaches were in a cool car with a/c running. Opened up the bag the girl put them in that she changed from bucket to bag. Most were rotten. We were able to eat about 5 of them out of about 20. Way too pricy to pay that for rotten peaches. The rotten sides were facing down. Should of known better. Very disappointed and would not buy peaches from a place that I can't hand pick my own. Not to be confused, there are two Peach World locations one on each side of the Hwy I95. One of them is little bit bigger than the other. We stopped here few years ago on the way to NY and tried some of their peaches. The prices are pretty high but the peaches were good. They also had delicious fresh boiled peanuts, $10/bucket. The store was pretty small with lots of samples. I wanted to buy some pecan tart or a peach jam but everything was way too sweet for my taste. Even their juices contained way too much sugar, corn syrup, corn starch, etc. On the second try here we tried some of their peanuts but they were tasteless. Not enough salt. Unfortunately I can't recall the place where I bought peaches another year. Those peaches were the best, not comparable to this place. read more

What a fun stop on the way to JAX. We kept seeing the signs and needed a stop to break up the drive so I thought why not. I had my girls and our dogs so everyone needed to get out and refresh. We walked the dogs for a few minutes when I noticed they had a sign saying dogs welcome. We took out dogs in and they were so happy. So many smells and everyone they met pet them. One of the staff gave them a treat which was really nice. My wife ended up getting a basket of peaches and we also got several of the varieties of tasty walnuts they had. We got to sample them and I just had to have some for the road trip. The inside was clean and the staff was fun and their prices were decent. Don't bother! It looks like a cutesy little roadside market and shop but price wise it's one of the most overprice horrid rip offs of any such place I've ever encountered. Also, for fresh peach or other such produce, not the best in quality. You can do far better at one of the local super markets than you can do here. Great customer service and peach products to die for. They even had a produce stand right outside the store with Georgia grown peaches. I think the highlight was definitely the peach cider slushie which on a hot day hits the spot. And I think my ultimate highlight here was the peach fritter. I've been looking for donuts that are out of this world forever and I'm shocked that peach world would be the place to find it. Holy Georgia Peach World Batman! The place looks like a large shack, not exactly what I had envisioned but that's why traveling opens the mind. Driving down the 95 back towards Florida, I saw an enormous sign inviting me to a world of all things peach. I enjoy peaches and it's one of the things Georgia is known for so why not? I interrupted my GPS and changed my destination accordingly. There is a big sign saying "Georgia Peach World" so turning off the GPS near the exit is fine. I used the address from Yelp and it was further than where the location actually is but no big deal. There is a gas station in the same property which is a good landmark. Parking is free. Pros: - They sell fresh peaches and give samples! - Friendly customer service. - Locally owned. I ordered a medium peach slushy because they have really cute cups that double as souvenir. Unfortunately, the slushy was too sweet and tasted artificial to me. I did sample their fresh peach and the tastes were different. The most helpful folks! I was pleasantly surprised during our visit, a very well informed young man helped us with our purchases. My wife & I walk into a well stocked and organized store. There are locally sourced items, its something I look forward to every year. Buying items for Christmas. I explained to the counterperson that I need a bag of pecans for Christmas recipes. The young man & I start talking, he tells me about his Thanksgiving turkey and how he basted it. It's just pleasant to chat with folks as we drive back home.
