Had full flavor, mildly spiced, fulfilled the craving. Tres Major was very good. Full of flavor, lacking sinew or gristle, just a great cut. Stripling's selection is better than any grocery in Brunswick, and beats Harris Teeter for meats selection and price. Stripling's has a great selection of specialty foods, as well. Prices seemed a little high, but nothing like the specialty shops on SSI. Overall, Stripling's is a good stop in a pinch if you can't get down to Jax for diverse shopping options. They are conveniently located central to SSI, JI, and Brunswick, which is very handy.

They have tons to offer from sauces to baked goodies and fresh peaches of course. The Peach lemonade was amazing! Picked up a few gifts. The Peach Cobbler mix and peach butter which sounds super delicious! On the property they have a few interactive activities such as mining. You can purchase your rough in store. I ended up getting peach moonshine, peach dressing, Vidalia onion peach salsa, peach salsa for our neighbors, and peach butter for our wine night. All within reasonable pricing range. They also do online ordering. Staff is super friendly and you can try samples of anything you want before you buy. This is a great place to go shopping for gifts or yourself. I found a tent that was selling key lime cake which I had to try...YUMMM! I bought a mini pecan pie and a mini sweet potato one too. Met a woodcraft artist, spoke to him for awhile. I bought a pestal and mortar set which was really reasonable. As I was ready to leave several more vendors showed up. Looked like farmers with their produce. They now have to have the Savannah police at the door and a manager to control the amount of people entering the store. While waiting over 30 minutes, several men tried to get in front of us rudely by pushing and shoving. After finally getting in, the food counter had no control over the process or their staff. The lines were insanely long and wait times over 30 minutes for food that was just sitting on the counter. There was no structure whatsoever. The place also was not clean in the drink and bakery area. It will be a long time before I return. I understand the theft issue, but the staffing and structure issue didn't help. I have never witnessed this in the past, after coming in multiple times during these hours.

I saw an alligator claw, sling shot and wooden gun shape rubber band shooter but I feared he might use it on his sister so I bought a safe tic tac toe board with pieces for him. I also bought 2 postcards, a sticker, and car fresheners plus a pup cookie for T Bebe. A nice stop for refreshments for now and later plus gifts for home.

Imagine our surprise when we arrived to our destination and someone noticed mold growing on BOTH sides of the loaf. Mind you, this was a $15.99 loaf of bread with an expiration date of 5/27/26. Trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt, I called before disputing the charge. After speaking with the manager, the employee came back on the line to tell me they wouldn't reimburse me because they "checked the lot" and apparently all the other loaves were fine. Interesting logic considering the moldy loaf was sitting right in front of us. We offered receipts and photos as proof and they didn't even want to see them. So instead of customer service, accountability, or basic concern for selling moldy food, they chose denial. For a place charging nearly $16 for bread, you'd think quality and customer care would matter a little more. Save your money unless mold is part of your meal plan.
