The office reception staff was beyond sweet. I would definitely recommend Ga. Podiatry.

Honestly this so much better than I anticipated. Highly recommend Michelle & Dr. Goldine…read more I had been putting off getting an ingrown removed for months and it got to a point where it was keeping me awake at night. Plus I had my postponed honeymoon coming up (Paris in fall so a lot of walking and definitely could not get away with open toed shoes like I could have when I was supposed to be going to Italy in summer) I was able to get a next day appointment and they were able to take care of it same day. Which was unexpected. But the biggest positive, was the bedside manner. So full disclosure I am that person who does not handle pain well (anymore). Going to the pediatrist is similar to going to the dentist for me. I HATE it. I absolutely will avoid it until I am in so much pain I can't really ignore it anymore. Which is exactly what I did here. I had been treating and dealing with this ingrown on my own (which I'm used to doing and have done many times successfully over the years) for 5 months. But there was an infection and again, a very big European honeymoon coming up. With lots of walking. So it really had to go. Another full disclosure, I'm also not someone who's not so great in terms of self control where where pain and anxiety are mixed. I definitely warned them and apologized in advance (and probably a few times during and after) for any and all of the UNHINGED AF things that came out of my mouth while this was going on. Both Michelle (the PA who did my initial consult and felt with the truly crappy aspect of numbing me Pre-procedure...did I mention I'm a complete child where needles are concerned?) AND th Doctor both could not have been nicer or more humane about it. There's a difference between dry professionalism, and being a person, and they were both so great and understanding and full of good humor. I had to ask them to take many breaks, reposition the seat, let me have a bit of a cry and I almost threw up at one point. It took way longer than it could have (totally my fault) They again listened to me say the most unhinged crap with such a good attitude, and got it done. I also want to say my old doctor, who has retired, had a pretty prestigious career. He was the ballet's pediatrist when I was dancing there (which is how I found him) and was also the pediatrist for many other prestigious sports teams such as the Falcons at the same time. He removed 2 ingrowns on me 12 years ago (as well as other procedures in vet the years) when I was still dancing, and did so with more needles per foot (6 in each foot-12 total, versus the 3 I had this time around) and the numbing lasted much much longer. I am writing this 6 hours after and it is just starting to wear off. It also seemed stronger as the first time I did this, it was a similar experience to having a procedure at the dentist. You are numbed, but can still feel someone rooting around in there. It was the same. This time, I was really truly far less physically aware that anyone was doing anything. It was so much better. The doctor worked quickly, once I sucked it up, he was done in maybe 5 min. It was an altogether better experience. I'm not sure if it was because in 12 years things have improved, or it's new techniques, or he's just a better doctor...but this was a far better experience. I am so grateful this is over and how quickly they took care of it. Also for how nice everyone was. Highly recommend!

I never thought I would be using Yelp to look for a Doctor but since I moved cross country I didn't…read morehave any recommendations. I'm glad I found this place! The husband and wife not only took care of my issue but also prepped me for after care and a free follow up appointment to make sure I was healing correctly. Great people and great service!
