I did all the due diligence from price comparison and shopping the big box stores, requesting samples etc. When I just couldn't get excited about anything out there, I visited Alpha Rug. They are a local business, which I like a lot. I was not pressured to buy, they directed me to the areas which displayed SO MANY large format samples. With the help of Lauren, I narrowed down my options, took home the samples to see them in my home and lighting. She scheduled Gary to come measure the following week. Can't say enough about the quality of the installation. The teams were so respectful of my home, courteous and most important---professional. The work was perfect. The review by HappyNess M below is accurate, we had a very similar experience with this contractor. 2. Contractor owes our firm $2,700.00 and refuses to reimburse us for the overpayment claiming expenses that he refuses to submit receipts for. He was overpaid for a job he did not complete, and we had to complete on his behalf to make the client whole. 3. This contractor had the audacity to send a letter to the homes of the subdivision (3000 homes) we were working with, including us and our client's physical address, using our name without our knowledge or consent - claiming work he was not doing. This exclusive subdivision does not allow soliciting by their preferred vendors, which we are, so we had to do some damage control not to lose our ability to work within this community. (see below) 4. This contractor took videos, pictures and project renderings created by our firm and posted them on his social handlers claiming them as his work. He was warned about this on several occasions not only by our firm, but by the painting company, the pool company, the rendering company. When we addressed this, he blocked us. (see below) 5. This contractor is not a licensed GC and his businesses are not registered in the State of Georgia. He does business under Husky Cara, LLC & Rapid Basements, LLC. Both businesses are registered to a PO Box and there is no physical mailing address for this contractor - except for several addresses in the state of Philadelphia where his businesses are registered. 6. The idea book on this contractor's Houzz page are all images of RSZ Interior's projects. 7. This contractor does not keep a clean job site and does not manage his subs accordingly. In our experience subs were lacking direction and guidance and did not know what was supposed to be accomplished. 8. This contractor does not follow plans and schematics and does not convey the goals to his "crew". RSZ Interiors has been in business for 24 years and we have an outstanding reputation. For the reasons above and others that are detailed in longer reviews, we would NOT in good conscious recommend Greg Cesar Erving, Greg Z Erving, Husky Cara Fine Homes, Rapid Basements or whatever other entity represented by this gentleman.

Angi sent our project details to three pros. Brian Ferguson Renovations was one of the pros who contacted us to provide a quote. Brian confirmed we had enough leftover tile from a prior job for the laundry room floor and helped us figure out how much tile was needed for the backsplash. We moved forward with Brian Ferguson Renovations. We cleared the work areas as requested by Brian prior to his arrival. He stayed in constant contact with us throughout the project, letting us know arrival dates and times. Brian and his team showed up on time each day and completed the job in 2 days. I believe he also stated this was his company, though I can't be sure. He was certainly affiliated with them nonetheless. This man was yelling at a young Black woman, using racial slurs, and even talking about her young child in the car. Absolutely abhorrent behavior. I think it's only fair that people of color know this about this business so they can choose to hire contractors who will treat them with basic respect. And of course also for those of us who aren't people of color, but value basic human decency.
