Once we did, we still never saw a price as none was given on our submission form. My card was then charged $1,410 by them for 10 mold samples. These were only $40 each from other labs that we had used previously. I called and they said they didn't realize we weren't walk-ins so our rate should be around $46/ sample and they would make it right. They offered me a credit of $60 out of my $1,400 to make it right for the lack of transparency and us never seeing or agreeing to the exorbitant pricing. Do not use this company if you value your money and by all means do not give them your credit card number. They will wring out every penny they can from you and offer you a 5% credit to pretend like they tried to help when you point out that there was never anything signed agreeing to their secret prices.

The receptionist on the whole asked if my number could receive texts and I specifically told her that I prefer phone calls -- only to have Steve start insisting that I text him which, with my injury, is not a possibility. Steve did come out the next day, but was several hours late-- and I am pretty sure he parked in front of driveways at our building with "No Parking" signs (based on what he told me). Then he got lost getting to the 3rd floor. I have had dozens of people come here and not one has gotten lost in our very small building. (He was lost in the stairwell by the door that said "3"). Then I had to argue with him about where to perform the test. He seemed to have issues setting up a step-stool, and he did not have his own supplies. I had to provide a step stool and a wet paper towel. I also have concerns that he took the mold sample incorrectly because I later hired a competent company that took a totally different approach.

No home is perfect, but we were able to purchase with a lot more confidence in what we were getting, which helps to take the stress down on a very very stressful time.

Titan conducted an inspection for the seller of the home I was interested in purchasing. Titan said…read morehome was in good shape, furnace was 0k and roof nearing end of life expectancy. Per report, roof was still OK, not needing new roof immediately. Titan never got onto roof, only used a drone. Thankfully, I got my own inspection with a different company before deciding to purchase home. My inspector, who did get on roof, discovered extensive damage to roof to include water leaking into attic in several places. This inspector noted that roof needs replacement immediately. This damage was never listed on Titan report. Also, furnace was not Ok. It had not been inspected for 2 years and needed to be replaced. In addition, Titan report never mentioned water under house and some repairs needed there. While Titan used pictures and report looked good, I would have bought a house that needed thousands of dollars in repairs had I relied on their report.
