Lol Her complaint was being charged for an estimate (she wouldn't pay) she admits seeing the sign that says "they charge $25 for estimates". People get estimates for all kinds of reasons (some with no intention on having the work done). It takes time to 'look up' vehicles, and price damages. The other guy Bryant's complaint was he called 2 weeks earlier and because they weren't WAITING with 'bated breath' for his arrival 'HE'S piszed! People are NUTS. Yelp apparently doesn't care who reviews or why! These are top quality guys. (I don't work there, but am applying soon) maybe I get it, maybe not, but either way they should be 5 stars according to all the REAL reviews from the rest of their customers!

1 Star…read more Unfortunately, after using Highway 280 Paint & Body three different times, this will be my last. Our 2022 GMC Yukon was damaged by a deer on June 9. We brought it to Highway 280 Paint & Body in mid-June, and they inspected the vehicle and determined that the damaged door would need to be replaced. After filing the claim with Progressive, we had a three-way phone call with our insurance adjuster and the manager at Highway 280 Paint & Body. During that call, we specifically scheduled a date to drop the Yukon off for repairs. The appointment was made roughly two weeks in advance, giving the shop time to prepare for the vehicle and the repair. We dropped the Yukon off on July 20 as scheduled. When we arrived, the manager acted as though he wasn't expecting the vehicle and said he didn't have the insurance estimate. I pulled it up and sent it to him while standing there. The Yukon then sat at the shop for more than a month. During that time, we received different explanations about what they were waiting on--parts, emblems, insurance approval, and eventually that the door needed to be replaced, even though they were the ones who told us in June that the door needed replacing in the first place. After more than a month, we learned that the vehicle had essentially sat there and wasn't actually being worked on until last week. Even then, the repair was still not completed. My biggest issue isn't simply that the repair took longer than expected. Things happen, parts get delayed, and insurance companies can slow down repairs. My issue is the lack of communication, organization, accountability, and urgency throughout this entire process. We scheduled this repair in advance. They knew what vehicle was coming, knew what the damage was, and knew a door replacement was needed. Meanwhile, our insurance rental coverage was running out while our vehicle sat at their shop. I finally asked them to put our Yukon back together so we could pick it up and take it somewhere else. After being a repeat customer, I hate that this is the experience that caused me to leave a one-star review. But based on the way this repair was handled, I cannot recommend Highway 280 Paint & Body. The entire operation felt extremely disorganized, and the customer service and communication were nowhere near what I would expect from a professional body shop. If you're considering having work done here, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about when your vehicle will actually be worked on--not simply when they can accept it and let it sit on their property.

I was quoted and paid $9,897 in cash under the clear impression that this covered the full job. When I picked up my car, it still had scratches and an entire unfinished patch on the roof. When I brought this up, I was told those areas "were not included in the estimate." This explanation is unacceptable. For nearly $10,000, no customer should walk away with visible, unaddressed damage--especially when I was upfront about wanting the complete body work done. I am hurt and extremely upset and feel as if my money was waisted I had to take another vehicle of mine to classic collision which is were my insurance referred me to 0 issues and they sent me daily updates and pictures of what the were doing so if you would like a better option then Classic Collision is were you should go Although the staff at homewood auto was polite, professionalism goes beyond manners. Customers deserve better accountability and integrity than what I experienced. I had new tires put on my travel trailer about a year ago. Seemed great at first, one day I went to…read morethe storage lot and two tires were flat. tried pumping them up but the valve stems leaked right back out. at 70 yrs old I had to crawl up under it, jack it up and remove the tires and take to have the valve stems replace. turns out Chelsea Tire put the cheap rubber valve stems rated for 60 psi in my new tires rated for 90 psi. This is an extreme lack of knowledge and carelessness that cost me time and money. now I have to fix my other two tires before using my camper again. I don't trust these people to ever do anything for me again.
