Extremely angry that they didn't put my car back together correctly and almost cause me to get in an accident. Your team was negligent and did not test components before giving my car back. You pinched the hose for my wiper fluid when you put the fender back on, and then as I was driving down the HIGHWAY where I couldn't stop I couldn't clean my windshield or see out of it whatsoever. I had to stop on the highway and use show to clean my windshield and then attempt to merge back on the highway from the shoulder during rush hour traffic. Your company put my life at risk because of lack of attention to detail over something simple. It was stated I have to bring my car back 90 days later to let the paint cure, this was confirmed by MULTIPLE shops that this is not true. The lack of knowledge is extremely concerning when it comes to working on vehicles, and they proved to me by they do not have any attention to detail when putting cars back together as it almost cost me my life. read more

Fine repair shop. Manager takes responsibility for slight missteps and corrects deficiencies on the spot! Regarding one of the negative reviews submitted by a weak husband who couldn't muster the guts to tell his wife she was parking in the crosswalk fumbling with her phone, I was the one mentioning the obnoxious, careless wife to my wife inside the lobby. His wife insisted on not only blocking parking access but she remained on her phone as her car blocked the door to the building as well! His poor review because of his wife's carelessness and his inability to teach his wife how to park in designated parking areas shouldn't factor into a review of the company work. I happened to point out to my wife it was difficult to park because of the rudeness exhibited by the careless wife/ driver. Instead of asking me about my comment, Apparently, he held Gerber responsible for his wife's rudeness. First, I am a 72 year old lady doing elder care. Took my car in for minor scratches and couple of superficial dings. My lease was ending in three weeks. I was under the impression (by their adjuster) my vehicle would be done no later than four days. Without updates from them, I contacted them on Thursday. There was no reply until I contacted my AAA adjuster. If I am given a drop-off date and an educated estimate as to completion, I would hope they are knowledgeable enough to know what they are talking about. I brought my car in on a Monday and, when I inquired on Thursday, I was told the car wasn't even worked on until Wednesday and it should be ready by next Tuesday. I explained all my circumstances before leaving my car. I cannot tell a patient with whom I am scheduled that The collision shop totally messed up my schedule. The other GERBER collision was honest enough to tell me they couldn't take me. Had this location told me the same, I would have looked for a smaller place that could deliver. I had to turn my rental in after five days, be without a vehicle all weekend, and will have to do it again Monday. Is this a bait and switch? I am very upset. read more

I am very disappointed with this body shop. I took my car for repairs which includes 2 parts to be changed and some paint job. I was told 1&1/2 week and showed an estimate that seemed reasonable. It took them 3 weeks to give my car back and in the end final bill shot up by 50% from $6,000 to more than $10,000. They do not know how to fix newer cars. They will send your car to dealership. So do not take your new car to this body shop, they are not familiar with new car features. Owner is rude and will keep on justify delay and other things. It seems like they will add un necessary expenses. In the end I would recommend do not take your NEW CAR (EV) to this body shop and gets frustrated. Not worth it. Stay away. read more

Took my car here since it was close and approved by my insurance company to repair a transmission that was blown out by a pothole. This company took over a week to estimate and quote it out after flagging my insurance company saying I made it up. I would DIE before coming back to this shop / employees. The girl Ashley who was working with me is also incompetent because she never got back to us and was never able to answer any of our questions. She just called and left me a voicemail that she just finished the quote today 9/7/16. The insurance company said it was quoted and approved already 9/2/16. I would go less then 1 star but it won't allow. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE Edit 9/19/16 Two men came up to my work to "drop off my car" (found out that they should never have done it as it is a liability) and threatened to tell my boss if I didn't take this review down. I told them they were complete POS and they promised they were going to do something to me. Erick is one of them and some kid with a beard driving a subaru. They took personal shots at me saying things like how poor I was. I have never been so blown away in my life with such horrible service. The owner can call me or anybody else who wants a review about these frauds. 9/20/16 - The police department has been contacted about harassment at my place of work. The insurance company is opening up a case to investigate and were appalled at what had happened. This was the MANAGER OF GERBER'S WHO CAME UP TO MY WORK. THE MANAGER. I am embarrassed for the company, but I guess that's why they got taken over once. The owner has never contacted me after I left my # and probably never will. The fact that his manager came up to my work says everything. 9/21/16- Got a dead battery at my work bc they left the battery on too many times during the 3 week repair period. I can not in good faith leave a 5 star review anymore. I was told my car is ready to drive the second time with smoke coming from under the hood for the second time. I checked it out in the daylight to find about a 2 inch crack on my coolant expansion in my BMW. This is the exact part they took out to fix a pinhole crack in...so either the mechanic was not looking, or they did not care. Also this means they did not test drive the vehicle afterwords. I know this because when I got in the low coolant light came on immediately. I filled it up with my own coolant and figured it was a bad sensor at first. I am probably a one off case but it still happened. I had no issues with the price for what they did charge for. And everyone I met at least seemed nice and helpful. The second attempt was even free which I appreciate. I'm more disappointed than anything. I really just want to be able to drive my car. It's quite embarrassing going to a clients workplace with my car having smoke coming from the engine bay. Update-when having it removed and replaced by another shop. We found the coolant sensor wasn't even plugged back in. Just adding more insult to injury. read more

My 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt 2-Door SS was bumped in parking lot at Christian Financial on November 24, 2007 at 1:12 PM. The cars front fascia was removed repaired color coated, clear coated, and replaced. The car was returned to me today at 12:00 in perfect condition. The car looks like new and very clean inside and out. Even the tires were coated with side wall dressing.
