After speaking with the owner, we were told to bring the vehicle back again the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. We were told they would start looking at it the next day. It is now a week later, and we still do not have our vehicle. We are now being told that the problem is a transmission issue--something we never experienced before bringing the car to this shop--and they want another $2,500 to repair it. What has been equally frustrating is the lack of communication throughout this entire process. During all three visits, we never received proactive updates about our vehicle. Every time we wanted information, we had to call ourselves. Most calls resulted in being placed on hold, and often no one would return to the phone or call us back. We understand that unexpected issues can happen with vehicle repairs, but the combination of expensive repairs, unresolved problems, new issues appearing after service, and poor communication has made this an extremely disappointing experience.
