No one ever wants to have a collision, pay a deductible, or be without their car while it's being fixed, but I'll have to say this: If you do.... Gerber Collision is the place to go. They were fast, nice, did a great job, kept me up to date on how it was going via text messages, and dis I say... Did an excellent job. They promised me it would be done by a certain date and actually delivered it early. I have already recommended them and they are happy with the results also. I hope that I don't have another collision, but if I do... my vehicle will be right back at Gerber. read more

I had to have my bumper replaced someone had backed into me and getting in my bumper they were very good. Give me a day gave me a reminder that my date was coming up. It was paid for through insurance that was all handled. They even gave me a ride to enterprise so I could pick up my rental car. However, when I pulled in to drop my car off, there was an elderly man and his wife who was laying on the ground in the middle of the parking lot, of course pulled in really quickly got out of the car and I'm also lonely and said oh no what happened is she OK? I'm just waiting that the person said she'd come right out. She was in her car. She just driven by them and help her up. They've been waiting for almost 10 minutes lying on the ground between the Hospital and I we got her up. Another car came by another employee came by and the other Employee finally got out of her car to come in with a new Employee not one word to the old man. Is your wife OK is she fine? Nothing sorry for the delay. Nothing they just let her lay out in their parking lot. I thought that was horrendous. I even did that later on like the manager about it I never heard back but I did my part. Did they fix my bumper? Did they do a good job? Yes they did. I'm not going to fit on that job seem to be excellent. They were. They were good they called me and they were quick with service however a company that will allow someone to an elderly person to lie on the ground because you were too lazy to get out of your car that's unbelievable. Plus they said they opened up at 7:30 which of course they didn't because it was 755 before we actually got anybody coming to the door. read more

The front desk person who answers the phone, and deals with the public, was very condescending and patronizing; which are sure demeanors to cost you customers. She needs to invest in some Customer Service courses. read more

This shop came recommended by the insurance of someone who damaged my vehicle. I only had the estimate done. Sadly, I was astounded by their lack of professionalism today. What was likely a simple misunderstanding that I was willing to overlook quickly escalated into me taking my business elsewhere. And when a customer calls, you don't say to your coworker--"Oh it's THAT Nissan guy." Good luck to you all. read more

1. Location is easy to get to which is a plus, easy to park in front. 2. Ambiance is normal, they offer water or coffee while waiting. 3. Service; on my first visit I dropped the vehicle and filled the insurance papers, smooth transaction. Service on the second visit to pick up vehicle did not go smooth. I noticed the front hood and right front fender out of alignment, which they stated they would fix in five minutes. After 5 minutes the vehicle was showing misalignment on same parts and a lady came out to justify the error stating that the vehicle was like that all over. It's a 2022 vehicle that only needed repairs on the front. I stated that I would be back when they fixed the issue. After calling their national customer service, insurance and talking to the manager to make sure the job was at least acceptable when picking up the vehicle. I received it with some paint defects as I post them here. Note: Having a business that will try to take your attention from the real problem says a lot about honesty and integrity. Offering to solve the issue and not providing a quality service or product cannot be recommended by me. This business may offer a fast service and be beneficial to insurance companies, but the quality is not at par with other shops. As for me, I never received an appology so I will safe myself trouble and inconveniene in the future. read more

Isaiah and the crew here were very professional and helpful when communicating the time and cost associated with fixing my car. First off, this specific location of Gerber repaired my car 4 years ago and did an awesome job then. I got rear ended at a stop light in a 16 year old RAV4, and Gerber argued with the adjuster to get some things removed and get the repair to where my car did not get totalled, which was my number one concern. What didn't get repaired, by the way, was things like the black plastic thing around the license plate which insurance claimed is a $75 part, so there was nothing sketchy or dangerous about it. It was Gerber acting sensible and doing what they could to help me when insurance is not held accountable by the government. Also that older repair from 4 years ago involved replacing the trunk door, which is a door that opens from the side. They hung the door perfectly and it works great and does not leak, and that's great. I moved apartments in the SUV, and can buy furniture at the thrift store and my trunk door just works. No leak means no smell, so car interior stayed clean and nice. And my husband who was doing lots of travel to rural areas could use the four wheel drive and do dirt roads no problem. If the car had been totalled, I would not have been able to get such a nice car and still would have had to pay a fortune. It is hard to hang a door, and that repair was perfect. I will always be grateful that they did a good job 4 yrs ago. That gave me 4 more yrs and going with a great car and no car payment. Flash forward to this summer. My neighbor got distracted and drove up in my yard into the car. Miraculously, the bumper and taillight were destroyed, but the quarter panel was perfect except for a paint scratch. We didn't do insurance. It will raise his rates and total my car. We bought the bumper and Toyota mounting clips. We met up to install the bumper and realized the taillight was cracked. I wanted the tailight put on right, and paint done well. So I took it to Gerber. When I went to pick the "finished" car up, they had not done any paint work and the bumper was at a comically diagonal angle. I asked about paint. They told me I never got a quote for paint. I pulled out the receipt, and I had paid for paint color match plus for 1.4 hrs labor to paint it right. They argued before they took the car back. 30 minutes later called me and said paint was done. I went to get it, and the paint was terrible. They called me 30 min after I'd left, so they didn't do the 1.4 hrs I'd paid for, which is why it's such a bad job. The bumper was still comically diagonal and flopping. I decided they are incompetent and dishonest about the paint, and I did not want someone incompetent touching the car. The bumper wasn't drivable, so I could not cut my losses and leave. I climbed under the car. It's the rear quarter bumper, so there is one in each side. The bumper is mounted with 2 bolts and 3 plastic mounting clips. They had put the two bolts on but not the 3 clips. I pointed out the diagonal bumper. The employee who does checkouts claimed it is supposed to be like that. I pointed out the 3 missing clips, and how they were there on the other side. They drove it to the back. Brought it back with metal bolts instead of clips. Bolts will scratch the paint up, so it will rust out. I pointed out they rigged something instead of using the Toyota factory clips, which were still in the baggie in the car. The mechanic told me that my car is too rusted out to work on. It's my first car. I got it new, and fix everything. The quarter panel is rust free. I left with the mounting clips in the baggie from Toyota, parts number on the baggie and everything. Now I have to unmount the bumper. I have to check where they rammed metal bolts in but it's supposed to be plastic. I suspect they scratched the paint off the quarter panel around the sides of the mounting holes and I need to touch up there so it won't rust. The paint job they did is so terrible. They did no surface prep and smeared touch up when I'd paid more than $100 on paint to have it done right. The taillight mount was great. I waited until a heavy rain. When it let up, I took a flashlight and shined it around in the little door I have to change the light bulb. I didn't see any leaks, so that repair looks great. Basically I paid for 3 repairs, taillight replacement, paint, and bumper. But I only got one of those repairs. I got the taillight replacement. And when they botched the bumper, they scratched off paint around the holes in the quarter panel where the positioning clips go, because they shoved metal bolts instead. They did additional damage that I have to repair quickly so that it won't lead to rust. I don't know what's going on in Fall of 2021, but I would advise not to go to Gerber. You can't watch them work on your car, and they are dishonest charging for repairs then not doing them, or botching repairs and breaking something else by forcing wrong parts in. Maybe they are having trouble with it being busy, but that trouble might land on you. read more

Gerber was one of 5 shops recommended to me by GEICO and I chose them due to the reviews. I wasn't disappointed. I was able to set up my appointment online and since Enterprise is also in the same office, arranged a rental. I was checked in quickly and the damage to my car assessed. I was given an estimated timeframe for completion and received texts every other day with updates. My car was ready a day before they expected, and David stayed until 6 instead of closing at 5 so I could pick it up. My car looks great and I received wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable service. After my car was hit, I was recommended to use Gerber by Farmers Insurance and it has been one of the worst experiences of my life. After originally telling me the repairs would take two weeks, I did not get my car back until 2 and a half months later. Every time I caller for updates they informed me they ordered the wrong part or their mechanic was out sick. They never called me to update me on anything going on and I ended up having multiple problems with my car afterwards, including forgotten parts and wrong parts being put in my vehicle. I was very happy with the quality of work from Gerber after a car accident. They are professional, they kept me updated throughout the process, and were always nice when I called with questions.
