Honda Civic Si body work paid by Geico insurance. Body work and paint fine. Received weekly updates on progress. Front office staff horrible communication. Promised phone calls never happen. Claim they sent text instead. Texts never received. Ben, in the office, tells me "I can prove we sent you a text 1 minute after we opened." Huh? What a smooth and courteous way to talk to a customer. Important phone call to GM Alex never returned. Also, shop does not understand the Honda system. Kept insisting they needed to "recalibrate" my car because Lanewatch was not working property. All they had to do was reboot the system via the touchscreen to correct. read more

A lady ran her car into the right side doors of my car while it was in the aisle in the Safeway parking lot. (I had the "right of way"). After remembering to take photos, it was clear from the points of impact that it was her fault and she luckily had insurance. I chose Gerber Collision because I had used them for a bumper that detached on a bumper curb. That was my fault! They did a great job on it, so I chose them again for what I figured would cost maybe $500-1,000. Little did I know, the estimate came in a lot higher as at least one of the doors was too badly damaged to save, and there's a lot involved in removing and re-installing original body parts in order to properly fix the doors. They called me almost daily with a message (I could have stopped the messages if I had wanted to do so) about the repair status of my car, letting me know as things progressed. I really liked that. The repair took a week. They washed my car really well and because I have to wait 3 months for the paint to totally set before I wash it, I was grateful for that. I'm only supposed to wash off bird droppings which could mar the paint job. The repair and paint job were done very well. It looks like it never happened - oopps isn't that some company's slogan? read more

I had to shop around for a repair place, and most of the length of quotes I was getting were somewhere around an entire month before anyone could fix my car. The insurance company advised this was a preferred vendor, and now I can see why! Overall, I have had nothing but great experiences with this place. They employees are compassionate, understanding, and most importantly, they are honest about timetables. Communication is key and they have a set schedule for calling you with updates on any repairs. If it's going to be longer than quoted, they let you know as soon as possible so you can make arrangements. And they were always happy to answer my calls any time between those updates and field my bajillion questions about the repairs being done, parts ordered, coverage, their warranty, etc. They even gave me a ride to *rental car company* because *rcc* did not send a car (after I confirmed with them twice, had Gerber confirm with them as I was on my way AND had Gerber call when I was there-as no car was there. *rcc* is less than 5 minutes from Gerber, for the record). I have taken my vehicle twice to them for repairs and wish I was not moving so far away, as this location has the best, most attentive, helpful and friendly staff I've seen at any car repair place. Not to mention my car looked great when done. The paint matching was incredible; looks exactly the same as before. Unfortunately, I can't speak to price, as I was not out of pocket for any of the repairs, but guaranteed it is worth the money. Trust them with your car. It would be best to describe this company in words that Yelp would think were bad words that had to be removed. Setting that aside, DON'T bother with these people. When I came to get an appointment for my repair, the earliest they could manage was two months away. I went ahead and made the appointmentbut when I showed up two months later, they informed me *that morning* that they need a week or more to repair the car and I should have a rental car reserved. Maybe they could have told me when I schedule the repair? I asked about rescheduling, then they told me it would be three months before they could get to me. I have been waiting for my glass repair that a third party glass repair company for State Farm set up. It has been three weeks now and they have not even called me back. I sit on hold for 30 minutes at a time and get too frustrated to hold any longer. I hate being that Yelp troll but this company has broken me. They are supposed to show up today an I have no idea since the haven't even called me. I had to call Lynx, that third party scheduler, to even find out that they didn't have the gasket. This place took a costly, stressful event and made it into a long drawn out fiasco - heaping on additional stress and expenses. Unless you thrive on aggravation, I can't recommend this place to repair anything for anyone - ever. I had a fender bender with my sister's car. This place gave her an estimate that was pretty close to the car's value. Despite that my sister told them to make it driveable. A week or so later when I picked it up, it looked fine, but immediately after driving off I knew something was wrong; the tire rubbed against the fender during turns. After numerous phone calls and three contentious visits over several weeks (without a driveable car) their remedy was for my sister (who lives out of state) to take it into another shop, located in Longmont, to have it actually fixed. Woohoo - they did negotiate a "wholesale" fee with the second shop. read more

I never, ever write reviews, but the service was so bad here that I am compelled to write one now. Run away. As fast as you can. Can't speak to the actual body work (because I ended not having any done), but the admin staff is completely inept. After having an estimate for PDR done here, and scheduling an appointment a couple of weeks out, I thought I was good to go. I even called the week prior just to make sure we were all set with my appointment (oh you bet I was assured everything was great). Come drop-off day, I hand the front desk woman my car key (the same one who had booked my appointment, no less) along with my last name and the quote. I was told I wasn't in the system and that my appointment wasn't valid, and the earliest they could get me in was three days down the road. Accompanying this statement was an incredibly defensive attitude, as if it was somehow my fault the admin staff is incapable of scheduling one appointment correctly. No apology, no corrective action, no 'sorry we fucked up here's how we'll make it right', not a shred of what actual customer service looks like. I paid my due diligence by confirming the appointment long before the day ever arrived. Why would I trust this place to fix my car if they can't even fix their own mistakes? read more

Gerber did a fine jobs on my Enclave. My paint color is a Pearlized White, And I was concerned that it wouldn't match after being on the road for five years. They did a perfect job! You can't tell at all that it has been repaired. The paint matches perfectly and there is no sign of repair. That's all I can ask for at this point. I just picked it up today so I can't see what it will look like in a month or two. But I can say they were very professional, And the front desk person was accommodating and nice. They even sent me texts to let me know how the process was going, and when I could expect to have my car back. read more

I took my car in and first had to deal with their condescending receptionist-how dare I think anyone would be available at 2:30 on a Friday to look at my car. I had to come back when it was convenient for them. I told them I had a $1000 deductible and my insurance company wouldn't raise my rates if I kept it under $2000 total. Instead they did a horrible job (many comments from repair shops) and kept the cost to the insurance company down to $200! Then they said that is what I asked for. Stay away, far away. Remember the minimum is one star not 0 stars!!! Here's the deal. I took my truck in to get the tailgate fixed. It was slightly dented and scratched. They did an awesome job on the tailgate. The problem is that there are a few new scratches on the driver side. Also a small dent towards the bottom of the door on the same side. I'm not stupid. I know I didn't have a dent in the door!! I'm so pissed. My first ever new vehicle and it doesn't look new. They do autobody repair right? It looks like someone had my truck right next to another truck they were working on and just bumped into it. What a joke. They said they had photos with marks where the scratches were. That one is hard to figure out right. Dah. Lame. Why didn't say there was a dent. You wouldn't mark that down somewhere? Of course you would! read more

They were able to fit me in to get my car repaired sooner than any other place. I'm very happy I took my car here. They constantly kept me updated and also finished the job quickly. I am glad I made the trip from Arvada to Longmont to get the car repaired. My Highlander was repaired by Gerber after a weather related accident. They the repair shop suggested by my insurance company. Never again. Not only did they not complete the job, they completely missed a steering sensor AND the back tow adjustors had been bent on the original tow from the accident, but they actually told me they didn't notice any problems, and then proceeded to explain how tractions control works. Needless to say when I took my car to Toyota, they were amazed that Gerber had let me drive it off the lot, they said they noticed the issues immediately just driving it into their garage!!! Horrible service, work was not completed, and it caused me all kinds of headaches because they had reported it as done to my insurance company. At that point, everything was on my dollar and I'm still dealing with the paperwork. read more
