I would give 0 stars if I could. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of work and lack of accountability provided by this collision center. The paint job delivered was inconsistent, poorly matched, and clearly substandard compared to acceptable industry standards. The finish shows visible discrepancies that were not present prior to the repair, and the overall result is unacceptable. Three other independent collision facilities reviewed photos of the vehicle and all agreed that the workmanship was poor and the paint application was not done correctly. Their assessments further confirmed what was already visually evident--that the work performed does not meet professional standards. What is even more concerning than the poor workmanship is the way the issue was handled afterward. Instead of taking responsibility for the clearly flawed paint work, the business attempted to shift blame elsewhere and suggested the issue may have pre-existed the repair, which is false. I told Mike to run the VIN it has a clean title except for the current accident repair that they were working on. despite Mike acknowledging at one point that there were errors in the paint application and kept the car an additional 2 1/2 days and still only buffed and waxed it. With no color correction. Instead of taking responsibility, staff member Tina dismissed legitimate concerns and made unsupported claims that the color discrepancy was due to "lack of sun" or cloud cover, even suggesting the vehicle be placed under LED lighting to determine the "true color." This explanation is not credible and does not address the obvious defect in workmanship. Tina was also consistently rude and unprofessional throughout the process, speaking condescendingly and acting as though customers are subordinate. There was no accountability, no professionalism, and no willingness to take responsibility for the defective work. This is my daughter's vehicle, and she was already dealing with the stress of an accident. Rather than reducing that burden, this shop created additional issues and then refused to correct them. Due to the refusal to properly correct the issue, we have escalated our insurance claim to management. We have also been unable to pick up our vehicle because the shop has not agreed to fix the defective work. The shop was selected by our insurance and using a contracted collision facility we are supposed to be protected in warranty of any work that they do and they have yet to stand behind the mistake that they created. the damage to the vehicle that they repaired wasn't even in the area of where they created the paint issue. As a customer, I expected honesty, professionalism, and accountability. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite. The refusal to fully acknowledge and resolve the mistake reflects poorly on their integrity and commitment to quality service. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience, as the work was not completed properly and concerns were not addressed in a responsible or transparent manner. This wasn't the only issue a lot of discrepancies in what repairs really took place. read more

I have been going here for years with my family's body work needs. The other day I stopped by because someone had pushed a shopping cart into my tailgate leaving a colored scratch. I was mad because there wasn't a scratch on my truck. Tony is who I dealt with and he was very professional and nice. He had the polish guy look at it. Where I do I start? Just the best repair place EVER! Lin was my service advisor after I had an accident and she ensured my insurance company fixed every single thing. I brought my 2015 Chevy Suburban to Gerber for a rear bumper replacement ( was hit in the Ralph's parking lot) I am more than happy to leave a review because I had a great experience. Just got my truck back today and first thing I noticed was the terrific wash job they did. After that, I looked at the rear bumper and was very impressed with the workmanship. The paint and fit were perfect. You'd never know the rear bumper had any damage. A special shout goes to David Gonzales. He was my main contact and he was not only personable and friendly, he kept in great contact with me for updates throughout the repair process. The quality of their workmanship exceeded my expectations, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the repair. The staff at the body repair shop were professional, friendly, and provided outstanding customer service throughout the process. My only complaint is the automated text messaging system would reflect inaccurate day/time that my car would be ready for pickup, so my advice is to make sure you speak with your repair agent on status updates. The text messaging system could really be a fantastic tool if it was accurate during the repair process. Lastly, I noticed my American Flag magnet near my license plate was turned sideways/upside down which means someone at the shop touched it, the damage to my car was no where near the bumper or license plate so that kind of annoyed me but perhaps it was an honest mistake, also they didn't clean the inside of my car it would have been a nice touch to have wiped it down. The car wash company would not take any responsibility for the damage even though they are the ones who caused the damage and they have no signs posted stating they are not responsible for damage to cars. Anyway, had some work done including a rebuilt transmission. About a week after having the car noticed what appeared to be oil leaking. Reached out to Brian, brought the car in and sure enough a reported seal need replacement on the transmission. Bring us to today, still leaking. Call Brian again, "I'll call our transmission guys." Short and sweet, Brian says bring it back. Point of the story, Gerber lives up to its lifetime guarantee for workmanship and other related issues. Let me start by saying the actual damage to my vehicle from my accident that was repaired looks fantastic and my car was returned clean and smelling good so that's why I've given 2 stars despite the additional damage they caused. On 6/20/23 I dropped my car off and myself and the claims estimator Erica walked around the vehicle as she marked up all the pre existing damages (scraps, dings, scratches) we get to the back of the car where the damages were and I stated I was rear ended at a drive-thru...she touches a hairline crack on the lift gate above the bumper that was hit and says "this" and I then directed her to the bumper and said "this, as you can see with the cotton hanging out of the bumper and metal plates hanging underneath". She responds, yeah that's part of the bumper and our conversation ended and I go back inside as she finishes up. I was told when the estimate was ready I'd get a copy and can then decide if I want to go through with the repairs and if not I'd be responsible for a $300 disassemble/reassemble fee ($150.00 each). I was also advised no repairs would be started just in case I didn't want to move forward...so ok cool. Well, I received a text the same day with a dollar amount of the estimate...it seemed high but there was no breakdown down at all just a high a** estimate for a bumper, I thought wow, they must've found damage underneath or something. I hadn't received anything from my insurance carrier so I assumed they received the full estimate breakdown instead of me and it was under review. The next morning on 6/21/23 at 9:05 am I received a text saying the repairs were underway so I immediately hop on the phone with my insurance carrier and ask 1. Were the repairs submitted approved? 2. What are they repairing because I received NO breakdown. I was told the bumper and the lift gate...wait what?? The lift gate has nothing to do with the bumper damage I clearly stated was damage was caused by the accident. I told them absolutely not...have the lift gate removed and repair the bumper only. They thanked me for clarifying this, the lift gate was removed and the repairs to the bumper were approved and we moved on. Fast forward to 6/23/23 I go to pick up my car and pay for the repair and the bumper looks fantastic however, that hairline crack I mentioned earlier on the lift gate is now chunks of the lift gate dug/scraped out and I'm in shock!!!! They told me I needed to sign a document that states I received my car back in satisfactory condition when it was more damage than when I dropped it off and I told them I can't sign that! The customer service rep held my keys (AFTER I PAID) and told me well, we can't release your car without a signature!!! I told them I needed the additional damage they caused noted and you know what they did...they added the additional damage note along with a whole lie stating I verbally told the estimator Erica that crack way up on the lift gate was damage caused due to my bumper way under the lift gate being hit. Y'all I was furious because aren't you all the professionals!?!?!?!? Wouldn't you know immediately as the professionals that's nonsense and these 2 damages are nowhere near one another so there is no way they can be related, so how dare you assume or falsify paperwork to get more money or whatever and then blame me the customer?!?!? Never did I ever tell that estimator that lift gate crack was caused by the bumper contact...They held my car until I signed "under duress" because they threatened to have me stranded with no access to my children and not release my car keys. Before I signed I called my insurance carrier/claims adjuster and attorney and let them know I was being forced to sign a document under duress because they were holding my car from me until I signed...wait until y'all see the pics. The Manager Gilbert agreed it looks far worse than when I dropped it off and really expected me to believe the additional damage they caused before the repair was approved was just the way it had to be. He even offered to "discount" the replacement of the lift gate if I decide to bring it back in...Sir, you can't be serious? Why can't they just admit they messed up as the professionals? If I said every scratch/ding on my car was from the accident would they have written it up in the repair...NO, so professionals please don't blame the customer!!! We all make mistakes so I wish they would've admitted it. I NEVER stated the lift gate crack was related to the drive-thru fender bender the estimator wrote it up her way and now we're here. read more
