Cesar at BodyShop661 was helpful and was able to get a good deal on a new bumper. Still going strong for almost 3 years. Fast forward, my trunk had been leaking water. I had just avoided using it. But I had a baby on the way, and knew a stroller would be in the trunk on a regular basis. I thought the leak was due to misalignment in the trunk door, so I brought it in. Cesar and the team, when they easily could've taken advantage of a desperate pregnant lady, were kind and fixed the seal of the trunk for free rather than selling me on a more expensive and unnecessary fix. I…read morestopped by one afternoon to get an estimate on re-painting one door of my car that had been previously worked on by a mobile dent removal/paint guy, and the roof because the clear coat was wearing out due to sun damage. It wasn't looking good and I plan to keep the car for another five years or so, so I figured I should look into this. Marcos took a look at the areas that needed work, then brought me into his office. He typed up some information in the computer and got me a quote within 10 or 15 minutes, no problem. The cost was about what I expected and I didn't even bother getting a second opinion. Based on the number of great reviews on Moises, I figured I had found the right place. I scheduled a time to drop the car off on a Monday morning hoping I would only have to rent a car until Friday. They literally got to work right away, sending me photos of the car being worked on by noon. It turned out that the mobile dent guy had done some pretty shoddy work underneath his paint job, and that I would need a new door skin as well if I wanted the car to really look its best. Marcos was honest and said I didn't have to go this route, and could keep it the way it was, but it wouldn't look as good. It would be ok, and better than it currently looked, but if I wanted it pristine, I should consider the new door skin. I figured I'm going this far, so we might as well do it right. The car was ready by Friday afternoon as promised, even though they had to order a new door skin which was not in the plan. When I picked the car up Friday, it looked perfect. In fact, the whole car looked fantastic. The paint was blended perfectly. I feel so much better about this car now. One added bonus to all of this is that Marcos noticed my magnet on the back of the car that says "I [heart] my dachshund," and Marcos mentioned he also has two dachshunds. I always know I can trust a dachshund lover. The only problem is that Marcos is an LAFC fan, and as I am a huge LA Galaxy fan, it was difficult to accept this!

John, the owner refuses to release the car despite NO work being performed on the car. I and my boyfriend have called John and the shop over 200 times. No response. He has quoted $158,913.00 in STORAGE FEES and filed a false lien for $60,000+. Despite no work being performed. The work verbally quoted was only $4000. He doesn't abide by BAR standards and is a conman. We are now in the process of suing just to get the car back. I would absolutely hate for something like this to happen to another person.
