It's been a long minute since I've had any back adjustments. Let me tell ya. I feel so much better after having one. My lower back started acting up after some house work and lingered for a few weeks. Decided to hit up Dr. Gerken who I went to years back. After an exam I was able to get a few quick adjustments in per Dr. Gerken. That guy has million dollar hands. My back had quite a few tight spots that were adjusted out. I'm walking straighter and my posture was immediately better after that one adjustment. Dr. Gerken is the man. To say my back is jacked up...minor understatement. Saw the Doc for a first time assessment and consult yesterday, decided it was a go for a first adjustment too. I am super impressed by how the Dr approaches personal contact and explains what he's going to do each and every step of the way. Chiropractic care is intensely personal and he "gets" that fact." Never was I uncomfortable from his being in my space with out consent and acknowledgement. He listened to my rather "sheldon-esque" chiropractic history as there have been more than a few cranial and facial injuries in my lifetime. I slept in a neutral position for the first time in over a year last night and woke up (not standing up) but woke up sans pain...I just wanted to lay there and relish in the fact that I didnt hurt this morning.
