The food was horrible. The dancers were amazing and put on a really great performance. With ocean views and setting sun the location was great.

Just a WARNING to all if you do plan on visiting this place to apply or protect yourself from ants and mosquitos. My whole family, a total of 8 were feasted on especially my 11 yo son. We attended Luau last Sunday (6/7/26), it's Day 5, his legs still swollen and his bites are blistering. This establishment should at least warn people ahead or do something to fumigate the area. Our whole week was ruined because my son was in pain, itching and had a difficult time walking from the swelling and discomfort.

This is located right next to the beach, great for taking sunset selfies. The tickets purchased included 2 drinks and dinner buffet style and the entertainment dancers. Considering the size of the venue the lines went fairly quickly for the buffet. There is a gift shop on site and I thought the prices were very reasonable. Purchased my tickets through an excursion provided by a cruise line. Was a bit pricey. Set that aside it's a guarantee back to ship on time as this ran late till end of port time.

--Book them! I was so overwhelmed by all the luau options but in the end I decided to go with Germaine's Luau and it exceeded my expectations. They picked us up (100% recommend you do that). Our driver Wendell did a great job. The in bus entertainment Bryce made that drive time feel very fast. Bryce taught us so much Hawaiian culture. The performers did such an awesome job. So happy we decided to book this luau for our first night in Honolulu!! It was the highlight of our trip.

Before dinner, there are several interactive cultural activities like lei-making, temporary Polynesian tattoos, and learning basic hula steps. These are fun, especially if it's your first luau, and help pass the time before the main show begins. The imu (underground oven) pig unveiling is a nice cultural highlight and adds to the authenticity. The buffet offers a solid spread of traditional Hawaiian dishes -- kalua pork, lomi lomi salmon, poi, chicken long rice, rice, salads, and desserts. The food is hearty and filling, though not gourmet. Some items stand out more than others, but overall it feels appropriate for a large-scale luau buffet. Drinks are included, though they're on the lighter side, so don't expect strong cocktails. The performances are the highlight of the night. The Polynesian dances from different islands, live music, and fire knife dancing are energetic and engaging. The performers clearly enjoy what they do, and the crowd interaction keeps things lively. While it may not feel ultra-luxury or theatrical, it's genuine, fun, and entertaining, which adds to its charm.

Service is fantastic, the food is okay. You are really coming for the great show and the food and drink is just a part of the experience. It is also on a private beach so you get amazing views and pictures of the sunset before the show begins! We did the standard package that includes the meal and one drink, which I think is the way to go unless you are a big drinkers. The pork was the highlight of the meal, besides that everything else was okay. I ended up feeding a lot of my food to the cats that are on the property. Amazing show with greta dancers, the fire dancers were a highlight for me.

The Luau was a lot of fun. The show was great. The location was overlooking the ocean and great for pictures. We had VIP tickets so our seats were great. I highly recommend this Luau if you are in the area.

I have been to several luaus but it has been years since I have been to Germaine's....until a few weeks ago. I forgot how beautiful it was there! So beautiful they filmed Lilo & Stitch at this location. They have different spots for fun photos, an all you can drink soda station, self serve all you can eat buffet, gift shop, Hawaiian activities & let's not forget the bar with really different yummy adult drinks. The Hawaiian dancers are absolutely gorgeous and the show was just beautiful. Oh let me know forget, do not forget your photos from George! I cannot say how much aloha he showed! 100% recommend Germaine's Luau....thank you George for being so kind and showing us the Hawaiian hospitality!!

The best10/10, it was a dream and I can't wait to go back what beautiful culture, lovely dancers, beautiful ocean scenery and yummy food. Fun fact this is the same place the Lilo and Stitch movie filmed there Luau scene, little did I know until after LOL Mahalo to Germaine's for the hospitality

I've read mixed reviews on this place so I decided to check it out with my family while visiting . The staff were all so nice once we arrived. I felt like I walked into the Disney movie Lilo and stitch as there was a small scene that was actually filmed there. Food was good and I liked that they were organized with going table to table allowing guests to make a plate without being staggered over each other. The only downside were the drinks , needed just a tad bit more alcohol. I felt like we just ordered juice at the bar. For the experience to those who are Lilo & Stitch fans I would recommend checking this place out.

They should of cancelled their entire show for the day with rain and wind blowing everyone's table covers. They equipped all guest with Ponchos to stay dry but everyone is getting swallowed and holding their ponchos down for dear life in this 3rd Kona Storm they were having. I understand they don't want to lose the thousands of dollars from cancelling one luau event, but it was horrible for all the guests. No one could even enjoy it with rain pouring down on our food because they have no cover, and still with the wind blowing our plates and umbrellas backwards, they still wanted to keep the show going....like c'mon make your guest enjoy themselves after dropping all this money, even a partial refund should of been due, but no the show must go on rain or shine, happy or unhappy guests! At least build a cover or shelter to protect your guests, and they don't offer full refunds unless they decide to cancel on you which doesn't seem like they do very often. I'm never returning and highly discouraging this Germaine's luau until I get some type of compensation or reimbursement for my precious yet limited vacation time. No Thank You! Go somewhere else that treats their paying customers with dignity and respect, I've eaten better at campgrounds than here. The show and and food were decent as expected but you don't treat paying patrons this way!

Went to Germaine's luau for dinner and a show the venue is in the middle of the industrial complex which made us nervous but once inside those fears were put to rest and an evening of food and entertainment was on the menu. The luau started with the unveiling of the pig from the Buried pit which was quite the show in itself. Next was the meal which consisted of pork beef fish and chicken all of which were quite good for a Buffet style the sides were OK nothing to write home about. The show was very good lots of islands being representedit was a great night

They offered free transportation during a deal in January, when I booked, which was super helpful and only solidified the decision to go to Chief's. The charter bus was easy to find and left right on time. We picked up others (now our family/ohana per Cousin Brian, who was our host from the bus) from local hotels and made our way to the luau. Upon arriving, they immediately handed out ponchos, which were definitely needed. Mostly light rain on and off throughout the evening, but that didn't spoil our time there. They took extra care to dry our seats ahead of initially sitting down at our table and when we returned from the buffet. We were also greeted with a fresh flower lei (booked the Royal Experience). At our seats was a lei po'o waiting for all. They immediately offered us a complimentary drink and a gentleman had fresh coconut ready to try. Just ahead of dinner, the men brought out the roasted pig. A blessing was asked in the native language, and then it was dinner time. All staff were kind and helpful. All of the food was really good, especially the kalua pork, which had a great smoky flavor. I'd dare to say it was better than any pork butts I've ever smoked at home. The men played music and sang while we ate, which we enjoyed. On to the show.... Multiple groups of dancers performed for us, showcasing different cultures, like Samoan and Polynesian. Looked and felt very authentic to me. All performers were awesome and engaged the audience. Chief was great and led the entire evening. The fire dancers were also very cool to watch. All in all, give Chief's Luau a try. You won't be disappointed!

Something i feel like they could have done better was the seating, they know how many people booked ahead of time, yet they still set up so many tables and MANY were left empty. I didn't like this at all, i felt like when i was taking my pictures i kept thinking to myself, I didnt want to show the empty tables, cause it would look like this place cant event fill up the venue it must not be good. Just my two cents. Overall i think it was an amazing experience. Its defiantly not cheap and not sure i would do it again, but once in a lifetime thing, I dont retreat one bit!!

Unfortunately, my Mini me thought she wouldn't like PACKHawaii because she knew nobody there. That all changed from the first day. In fact, she had such a blast! The staff, and volunteers were welcoming and knew all to well the feeling of not knowing anyone. They made it a fun and safe place for all the kids. Ms. Mini me decided to get up early everyday excited to go and practice. For summer, it was a whole day affair and she was ready to get out the door before I was up. Why couldn't she be like this going to school?! Anyway, performance day came and she was excited about her the whole show. The family came to cheer her on and we were amazed how great the show was! The stage looked amazing. In 2 weeks all the kids memorized their lines, learned choreography, stage presence, and memorized songs. It was impressive to see how much these kids learned in only 2 weeks. They even help make the stage, props, and programs. AMAZING! PACK has different programs. There is the summer programs, different shows to tryout, they have dance classes and offer various workshops for kids. It is such a great program and it is on the Westside!! Overall, It was priceless to see my mini me's confidence and excitement grow with each day. Thank you PACK for having this wonderful program available in the Westside. PACKids really outdid themselves by singing, dancing and acting their hearts out on stage - it was truly believable and something they can be proud to have been a part of. I know I was proud to have witnessed such a beautiful musical. It's no secret, i embrace local entrepreneurial endeavors and that affinity does not end with just my purchases. I support local talent when I can. Here in west Oahu there is not a shortage of talents and skills. PACK is a local, non-profit, after school musical theatre group that puts on 4-5 musical productions in a year. Children audition for parts and should be able to sing, dance, recite and act. It's the real deal at PACK! Since moving to west Oahu I have seen School House Rock Jr., their Christmas Holiday production, Little Mermaid and now, Westside Story. These kids are amazing!! I've seen them grow with each performance and their sets get better and better. No need to drive into town anymore to catch a play at Diamond Head, Manoa Valley or Hawaii Theatre...PACKids ROCK!!

You have to call the Marriott Ko Olina directly to order tickets ahead of time. We have attended Fia Fia many times at the Marriott Ko Olina and think the buffet luau is great, the Polynesian show is top notch, the outdoor oceanfront setting is beautiful and the small and intimate size of the crowd means the sight-lines for the show are way better than other luau venues for the same money. Our wait staff could have been a bit better serving drinks during the pre-luau activities, but the freshness and variety of the buffet and the production dances of the luau made up for this small critique. There are no bad views at the Fia Fia luau due to it's smaller size and table layout. A similar show is presented at his "Chiefs Luau" other evenings at the Wet & Wild Waterpark in Kapolei, but we think the food offering is better at Fia Fia. Of course the headliner himself is what you go to see: the famous and very funny Chief Sielu Avea himself, a longtime mainstay from the Polynesian Cultural Center and now entertainer of his own luau production. Yes you can go to the Paradise Cove or Disney Aulani Ka Wa'a luaus on Oahu's leeward (west) side, but they can't offer the up close and personal one on one experience of a living Oahu legend like Chief Sielu. We were original Mauka on a Friday, but that was cancelled due to weather. When trying to reschedule, we debated our options and ended up at Germaine's. It was not our preferred choice due to some reviews, but the beach location swayed us. It's a good distance from Waikiki, and we thought at some point we'd gotten lost in an industrial district, but after a few turns we found ourselves in paradise. We paid for parking and everything was uphill from here. We started with check in and photos. Then onto flower making for our hair, a quick sunset selfie and a return for a temporary tattoo. Then the evening's big highlights began. We gathered for the unearthing and presentation of the pig, then returned to our tables for dinner service. The Mistress of Ceremony, Serena, has such a warm demeanor. She referred to us all as cousins and family, and honored special celebrations of those in attendance (anniversaries, birthdays, etc). I realized this was all routine, but Serena had a way of making us each feel special. Food was buffet style unless you paid for VIP. VIP had their food brought to them. The menu was fine. I got a little of everything, but was most satisfied with the teriyaki chicken and rice. I added some vegetables from my friend's vegan option. While we dined, we were educated and entertained by Polynesian history and dance. Everything was beautiful. Too much water and not enough alcohol. I loved all the performances because they were interesting and interactive. All the costumes and designs matched their characters that they were performing. 5 out of 5 on performances. They truly represented their culture and their way of their lifestyle during their performances. The lady announcer was funny and very interactive with people. A more customizable education tailored for each child's potential. Seeing how much talent has been produced from this small school makes me hold ARA up on a pedestal. We want to give our kids the best opportunity and ARA offers all we can ask for. If you are considering this school for your child, I recommend giving them a call. We're so happy we did!
