He patched holes and sewed up seams in my Uncle Tony's Legionnaire coveralls from post WWII. Ray repaired the pockets in a leather bomber jacket. Ray also gives advice on whether or not an item can be safely repaired. He cautioned me against carrying too much in my purse and tearing the handles loose. He glued down some leather on another purse handle and said to wait two hours before lifting it. I followed his advice and the purse is holding up! He advised me on how to care for my new suede shoes. It's not just me who raves about Ray's work. Anytime another customer has come in while I'm in the store, they always tell me how great they think Ray's work is and what a wonderful person he is. Ray charges for the repairs he makes. The price reflects how long it takes him to do the repair, the difficulty of the repair, and what materials he has to supply to complete the repair.
