The owner (German) and staff were friendly and patient, offering samples and helping me choose from a wide variety of flavors. Almost two dozen flavors to choose from. The gelato itself was outstanding--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. I tried a combination of coffee, peanut butter and pistachio, and all were incredibly smooth and authentic. The kinder Bueno was insanely good. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The portions were generous, and the presentation was simple but appealing. What stood out most was how fresh everything tasted. It felt like the gelato was made with care, not mass-produced. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and overall it felt like a great value. Fantastic gelato shop! It is so pretty and stylish inside, comfortable seating, air conditioning, excellent service and their gelato is delicious! We've tried many flavors already and they are all so good. Their ingredients and flavors feel pure and real, pistachio that is actual pistachio, not fake green 'pistachio', hazelnut that tastes like actual hazelnuts. I'm in love. For several weeks, I've been seeing posts on Facebook and waiting in anticipation for Germano's to finally open. I stopped by today after dinner with my family and was so glad I did! I read somewhere that the building has been vacant for almost 50 years, so it's nice to see a new business opening up in town. The store is pretty spacious with a modern interior and an elevated seating area towards the entrance. Even though there was a bit of a line, it moved pretty quickly. There were so many gelato flavors to choose from, and there were even popsicles, gelato Oreo sandwiches, and a gelato cake inside the case. I ordered a small cup with 2 flavors - Belgium Dark Chocolate and Cookies and Cream. Both flavors were super creamy, rich, and delicious. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed the Cookies and Cream. I believe the man working the register was an owner and he had an Italian accent so you know it's authentic! So far, we especially liked the Sicilian pistachio, the (Belgian?) chocolate and, the unusual (to us) combination of ginger, lime and mint. Ingredients seem 'natural' - e.g., the mint flavor from mint leaves. FWIW, they've been open only a few weeks, and today, a cool, wet-windy Sunday, was our first time there. Gelato was very good. Place is gorgeous inside. A few trees or some plants in pots outside would've been nice. In the summer if they could get permission to put some little tables out front with umbrellas that would be sweet. I didn't feel it was too loud as someone else stated in their review and my hearing is very sensitive. Tables and chairs were comfortable. A nice addition to this area. Might I suggest some GF pastries as well as regular pastries for those who don't eat gelato and want something to go with their coffee.
