The other arborist would charge $200 for an in-person consultation; TTD said they'd do it for free. Both arborists ended up diagnosing the tree as dead from photos I texted. TTD's price to cut it down and haul it away was less than half the other arborists' bid, so naturally TTD got the job! A few hours later, they were on the scene, and the job was done in about 20 minutes, start to finish. Very professional and friendly. I had hoped I could use the stump as a kind of garden tabletop. Under my watchful eye, level in my hand, they tried their best to cut it exactly level. I think this is not a normal request. They indulged me and got it pretty close to a level tabletop. And the price can't be beat!
