However, always give it a try, it seriously does not hurt and this practice is extremely peaceful, calm, and relaxing. All of the acupuncturist are extremely professional and they all care so much about their patients. They also offer bodyworks such as different type of massages that are geared towards relaxation. Remember they are NOT a spa. If your insurance does not cover acupuncture, they also offer community which is way cheaper. Overall, mend is the best place for one-on-one acupuncture. I would recommend black sheep in Rosedale, MD if you want a great community acupuncture. They have a $15-30 sliding scale for there community, so it's more affordable.
