I almost thought I'd have to miss out on our family Christmas gathering in Vegas after a serious fall 2 weeks ago. When I looked into mobility aids, I found Get Around Mobility and gave them a call. I lucked into dealing with Nikko who was reassuring when I questioned him about the ease of renting a wheelchair. We decided to pick up the chair at their facility and I called Nikko prior to heading there. We had difficulty finding them and when I called back for directions, a woman gave us directions and said that no one would be back at office for 10 or so minutes. We waited outside what looked like a closed office and after 10 minutes we tried the door and Nikko was in there the whole time. They don't keep the door unlocked for security reasons. I had an amazing experience using Get Around Mobility for my wedding weekend. Needed a scooter last minute due to a sudden knee injury and after calling multiple companies this is the only one that has crutch holders available in vegas and the only one that would pick up my scooter early enough on Tuesday morning that I wouldn't miss my flight home. If this is Scooter mobility rental, their customer service sucks. Flight was delayed and couldn't call , and didn't get the message from them until the next morning. Was told everything was taken care of and the scooters would be waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived. Didn't know they can't leave them there but the people who rent them does. Called and spoke to the rudest person I ever had heard, no understanding , but was paid in full days before I even arrived. This company is awesome! I sprained my ankle a week before my Vegas trip and had to rent a scooter to get around.. Joe was great and gave me several options to choose from, they even dropped it off at my hotel and picked up! I selected the small folding one, let me tell you this thing was amazing !it was so easy to use, I was able to conveniently get around everywhere with no fuss . It folds up easily and weighing only 50 pounds was not difficult to lift and fit perfectly in the back of the car.. I can honestly say that even if I didn't have a sprained ankle I would still love to rent this thing, Vegas on a scooter was the best!!
