The big boy Maxima 4 Wheeler Scooter was exactly what I asked for, performed like dream and never gave me a lick of trouble. Took it everywhere; up and down the strip, thru all the casino's and resorts, up and down all the elevators, and even a few times on and off the monorails around the strip... (**Pro Tip** I would take a bit of time to make sure you feel really comfortable driving your scooter in tight area's before hopping on a monorail, totally do-able absolutely, but if your uncomfortable in semi-tight places on your scooter... well you get the idea) Lastly, Tammy (?) came by to pick it up right where Get Around Mobility dropped the scooter off for me, right out front of the casino. So the first time we were in Vegas I called around several different scooter places I just went on the web and looked up scooters rentals in Vegas. This was actually not the first one but three did not answer the phone and two of them didn't even have a place to leave a message the third one that I did leave a message with I waited a little while and no one ever called back. When I called get around mobility the answer the phone. The owner was very polite and was quick to answer all my questions considering we had never rented a scooter before. When they came out and dropped it off they took a few minutes and explained it's used and told me that when I'm navigating in and around a lot of people how to keep the speed lower and then I can turn it up when I'm not around people. Because they said it's not fun getting run over by a scooter. The nice thing is they are the only company in Vegas that provides a walk with a scooter so that you can change it up to a pole or something so that you don't have to worry about if you leave it for a period of time it won't get stolen. However, I had a different experience with Joe, not sure his role within the company, but his aggressive and accusatory manner escalated conversations unnecessary. They had an easy online booking but there was zero follow up communication on where to meet. I called the day before to confirm time and spot to meet and I would recommend you so the same. Get around mobility was a LIFE SAVER! We went to Vegas for a family vacation. My father has arthritis and back and hip problems, but not enough to own a wheelchair. He just limits his walking and standing in his day to day. But our first day in Vegas it was very apparent that my father wasn't going to get to do much unless we could get him some wheels. Get around mobility were courteous and prompt, dropping our wheelchair off at our resort (and dropping off early!). We ended up needing extra time, and they were very accommodating. Justin was waiting for us at drop off and was super kind at drop off even though we had dropped off even later than planned after getting lost. I had rented a scooter several times in Disney for a family member, and this was our first time to Vegas, and we needed one here, too. Get Around Mobility had the best reviews, so I went with it! Each time I called, I talked to Joe, the owner. You can't get much better service than that! :) Our scooter was dropped off at the bell desk at our hotel before we got there, and we left it there when we were ready to return home. Joe had asked me to call him when I dropped it off, which I was afraid I'd forget being in vacation mode, but I remembered. It was a quick, easy call, and we were all set. I think having a scooter in Vegas was more challenging than at Disney. Everyone at Disney is used to them, all the staff members know how to maneuver them, there's places to park them, etc. There aren't too many scooters running around Vegas, so it's not quite as easy. The ramps on the sidewalks were sometimes at weird places, and crossing the busy streets was a little bit of a challenge. I'd usually walk in front of it while she was riding it so she'd know where the ramps were. And when we crossed the street, I'd often have to ask the people in front of us to move so that she'd fit up on the ramp. It was never really an issue, but people really just don't pay much attention, so they didn't see her behind them. All that being said, we'd have never gotten around Vegas without the scooter, so we're very happy we got one! Even walking from our room to the front of the hotel was like a 10 minute walk. And saying something is "across the street" sounds close, but you're not getting anywhere in under 10 minutes, even if it's across the street. It made walking around Vegas easy for her, which is exactly what we wanted. The bell desk at Bellagio was great, and the scooter fit into our room easily. We had it for 4 days and only charged it once, and it was still almost completely charged! It looked like a pretty new scooter, and we had no issues with it at all. If we return to Vegas, I'd gladly use Get Around Mobility again. read more

Fine, whatever, then someone called back, I was told price is 80/ 2 day. I feel the price was too high. A few minutes later, they called agin, saying prices is 60!!?? So much bubble in the price. I tore my ACL about a month before our big trip to Vegas, and was debating skipping the trip. I decided to rent a scooter so I could get around easier. Get Around Mobility was affordable and offered drop off at my hotel so I gave them a try. Drop off and pick up at my hotel went smoothly. I called them the morning of my reservation to confirm the time/location of the drop off and they offered to drop it off earlier since they were not busy! The person who dropped off the scooter was very friendly and quickly showed me how to use the scooter. Get Around Mobility even provided a lock in case I needed to leave the scooter unattended for a bit. The motorized scooter worked great, was clean, and I never ran out of battery. On the day of, I got a call from Dan, who was set to deliver everything to the Cosmopolitan. He was super responsive and said he was ahead of schedule and to just text him when I was 10 mins away. He showed up right on time and was very thorough in showing me how to operate everything. Even showed me how to store my crutches. On the day of pickup, he also showed up just a little before 9 (like I asked) and he even helped us down one level to the valet.
