I am having very conflicting feelings writing this review. I am a professional life raft for the elite of Las Vegas, living here over 30 years . I dropped a scooter off for my employer the Owner of IHEARTRAVES , and it was ready for pickup the next day. Both the drop off and the call back went well. But I had a personal emergency with a friend having to be taken to the ER and I had to take two personal days . It was my fault that I did not follow up making sure someone else picked up the scooter. I WANT the Owners to know that I did not have their number programmed into my phone , and as a professional Corporate Assistant I get a lot of calls that I must screen or I'd get no work done . IF anyone there had simply left me one single TEXT in 10 days I would have known that I needed to fetch the scooter . I appreciate you lowering the exorbitant and excessive storage fee , but the whole experience really upset me. If I were you I'd get better communications with your clients , and if "Everyone leaves their Junk" as you stated maybe you should get a better system of dropping off and picking up . I'm only bothering to tell you so that maybe you'd be Happier . I did not mean to as you stated " You made me wait so long , now you can wait". I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I purchased my E-bike brand new in December and have had ongoing problems with it. I brought the bike to this shop expecting experienced service and a proper diagnosis, but unfortunately the issues were never resolved. After repairs were performed, the bike continued to have problems, including issues with the motor. Communication was poor, and I often felt I was not receiving clear information about the repairs, costs, or warranty options. I paid for labor and repairs, yet my bike was still not operating correctly. Because I lost confidence in the quality of the work, I took the bike to another company that specializes exclusively in E-bikes and has extensive experience working on these systems. Their technicians thoroughly inspected the bike, identified the problems, and are now making the necessary repairs. Most frustrating of all, the warranty that I was concerned about from the beginning is now covering the repairs through the new service provider. Had the warranty process been properly addressed earlier, it could have saved a great deal of time, frustration, and expense. As a customer, I expected expertise, transparency, and a working bike when the repairs were completed. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this shop. read more

As we tried to explain to the Employee what the problem with our scooter is, he noticed a broken piece and said we must have broken it! We never said we're bringing it in for that! We are how ever bringing it back for a throttle related problem and you did just replace the throttle! The Employee was so defensive, he NEVER ASKED FOR OUR NAME OR PHONE NUMER! I bought a new e-Bike for my son that needed to be assembled and needed an upgrade installed. The upgrade is new, and they had not installed one before; they took the time to work with the manufacturer to make sure it was done correctly. They kept me informed throughout the process and helped me set up the app when I picked it up. My son is blown away and I couldn't be more happy with the service I received from Joe and his team. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I won't go anywhere else if I ever need work done or an upgrade performed. read more

This place lied, cheated, and endangered us. The biggest issue was the lack of accountability and integrity, but the quality of work was equally appalling. The installation was so poor it caused accidents and had to be undone 10 days later. When I tried to resolve issues, Joe always blamed others, and that attitude extended to his employees, who almost (accidentally?) stole my ebike battery and tires. When I picked up the bike, the accessories were missing. They denied having them until I provided photo evidence. Only then did they send the items via Uber. Wheelzen replaced my throttle, and the first time I used the ebike, it malfunctioned so badly it took off on its own. The next day, it malfunctioned again, resulting in a hand injury. I now have a scar from a deep puncture wound and still have internal bruising. I'm seeing a doctor soon. The manufacturer confirmed the throttle caused this, and now I have to return the ebike, which I bought on sale. When I initially contacted Joe for help with LED Whip installation, he assured me he could do it since he'd done similar installs on vehicles. I brought my ebike and the wiring system to him, but he said it wouldn't work for two bikes. He said he'd order the right wiring and that I could take the original system back with me to Miami. After weeks of no communication, he gave me a vague estimate but refused to itemize costs until the work was done. By then, I had no choice but to accept his pricing. His lack of transparency was frustrating. I dropped off my first ebike on July 22nd, and Joe didn't start working on it until August 15th, when he realized the wiring he ordered wouldn't work. This forced me to spend over $40 on rush shipping to send him the original system. I had planned to pick up the bike on August 20th, but I couldn't leave until the 23rd. Joe also installed smaller batteries without asking, which lasted only 3 hours, and charged me extra for them. I then had to purchase two external batteries for $100 each. Had he communicated better, I could've avoided these costs and the hassle of flying with bulky batteries. Joe initially refused to work on the second ebike, despite agreeing to do so a month earlier. Although I didn't deliver it until August 21st, it was supposed to take just an hour, so I felt offended he didn't want to prioritize me to keep his word. After some pushback, he finally did it, but the hardware was installed at an angle, turning it into a 6ft glowing rainbow "Dangle Dong of Death." It quickly became a dangerous game of dodge-the-dong to every passerby, and we had to remove it. As for the first ebike, the throttle malfunction was so bad that when I pedaled, it jolted forward, making me look like an intoxicated maniac. I had to disable the electric assist at slow speeds. The LED whip was so poorly secured that the battery slipped out the first night, causing fraying and malfunctions. I had to fix it with more zip ties, despite paying hundreds for the job. I had to undo all the installations. Upon doing so, I discovered that 75% of the screws were stripped, and one was missing entirely. To add insult to injury, Joe refused my request for a partial refund, even with photographic evidence. He blamed me and others for everything. The reality is Joe accepted the job without looking closely, delayed it until the last minute, made mistakes, and blamed everyone else. His behavior is disturbing both professionally and personally. I sincerely hope he gets help. In conclusion, avoid this company. The lack of integrity, poor skill, and terrible customer service caused injuries, endangered lives, and cost me time, money, and wellbeing. It created more work for me than if I had done everything myself. read more

First I will begin by saying this shop is pretty much the only one in town, at least that I know of, so they are EXTREMELY BUSY. If a quick turnaround time is what you need make sure you mention that upfront. I would say a minimum week is the standard turnaround time maybe more depending on what repair/ modification u need. After all was said nd done I was extremely impressed with the quality of work, customer service, professionalism and integrity of this small business. I love supporting small family owned businesses and this is one of those you can tell he takes pride in his shop and loves his craft. There were a few issues along the way, mostly my tween son being so impatient and not wanting to wait and my husband's reaction to the long turn around time. However the owner was empathetic, professional and kept his word having it done as promised even after my husbands outburst . I think the thing that impressed me the most about WheelZen rides was my experience while in the store, while I waiting for them to complete the work on my son's bike. It was end of day so they were basically closed, There was a Spanish-speaking customer in there who had just paid cash for a Segwascooter and was literally out the door, already paid and was essentially walking out into the car when the owner realized the sales clerk had overcharged this customer, being as the customer spoke Spanish he would've had no idea he had been overcharged X amount of dollars and the owner could've just pocketed that, but instead, I watched the owner call the customer back in and refund him the money he had been overcharged. That encounter alone spoke volumes to me about the integrity of this business owner. He didn't have to do that and no one would have known any different. But isn't that what they say about integrity/ character that it is judged by what you do when no one's looking. I would trust this owner/ shop with my life after that. It was very impressive to say the least and was very happy that I took my business here, that alone really established trust in his work, his ethics and integrity and I would recommend this place to anyone but just be prepared. If you are in need of a bike repair, DO NOT go to WheelZen Rides! My husband dropped off my son's E-bike on 12/20/2025 and we spoke with Joe who at the time was very pleasant and eager to assist. He stated he would try his very best to have my son's bike repaired by Christmas. Of course, no guarantees were made which is completely understandable as many businesses are busy during the holiday season. The shop was closed from Christmas Day to 01/06/2026. Upon the shop re-opening we allowed three business days before following up in regard to an estimated repair completion date. No updates were given but we were PROMISED a follow-up call by the end of the week and yet no call were received. We gave the shop more time to contact us but yet we did not receive a call. We followed up AGAIN on January 15th, 27th, 28th, and the 31st. On the 27th and 28th, we were advised we would receive a follow-up call once Joe discussed repairs with his on-site technician by the end of next business day which did not occur hence why continued calling. On our final attempt, we spoke with Joe who was extremely passive aggressive and did not take any accountability as to why we NEVER received any updates. Repair shops can't always confirm arrival dates of parts BUT they can advise that parts have been ordered and provide an ESTIMATE on completion, if that completion date it not met a follow-up SHOULD be provided. It is the shops duty to relay updates to their customers even if there isn't much of an update. No customer deserves to be left in the unknown. This shop lacks setting the proper expectations and courtesy. Long story short we have yet to hear back from the shop and it is March 3rd! We have purchased a new bike and will NEVER return to this place. So if you are looking for a company that is reliable, diligent, and proactive this is NOT the shop! Unfortunately, we have to come here because my daughter's special needs stroller has a small tire and tube that only this Place can replace. They are clearly overwhelmed with their workload, and the people they have working in the front are very young kids that are not professional or aware of all these services that they provide. This is the second time we've had to go to them to replace my daughters Inner tube and wheel and it's always a long process of having to chase down somebody to get the proper information and expected time of repair. I recommend bike world all day every day over this place, however we don't have a lot of options when it comes to her specific type of wheel size. I think they need to hire more people and have people at the front more professional and suited to run an operate front office duties. read more

i recommend going to JB's scooters, rather then going anywhere near this place. the owner joe is a complete asshole. i dropped off a scooter and was quoted 2-3 weeks over a month later and i hadn't even received a call or update on it being fixed. i called and the person said he just took a look at it that day. so it sat there for a whole month with no work being done on it. i said i'd just come pick it up and take it somewhere else. he said that's fine. i showed up to pick it up and was told they did work on it and i owed $50 for labor, all they did was remove a screw. when i took it in, it had one broken screw now it magically had 2 and one wasn't fixed so they just removed a screw so they would be able to charge me. the owner joe made a lot of rude comments while we were waiting in line in front of other people waiting too. he also made threats which we have on voice recording. after paying the 50 and lots of arguing and belittling from the owner, he said "get the fuck out, i know i'm an asshole, this is my store" he was very entitled. then he made threats to beat up my friend who is a cripple. leaving the store i made the comment that they should be ashamed to be a business and to treat your customers like that. joe then proceeded to come outside and yell at me as i loaded the scooter in the car and then physically tried to fight my friend as shown in the pictures below. if you want this kind of service, then you should take your scooter here. i would not give them your business at all. we were also told the other screw could not be removed. we took the scooter over to JB's scooters on boulder and sunset and he removed the screw within 20 minutes. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO WHEELZEN RIDES UNLESS YOU WANT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I SEE THE LAST FEW PEOPLE REVIEWING ALSO HAD ISSUES LIKE MINE. With this shop you either buy in cash upfront or u can go through a financing company if you don't have all the cash and want to leave the shop with a Electric scooter / bike of your choice . I went through the financing company and walked out with a $1000 Emove touring for $70 and have a plan to pay off in 90 days to not have interest be acquired on the loan which is pretty cool! Joe was great and was kind enough to give us a mini lesson in how to use them right there in the parking lot so we weren't jumping into it blindly. He showed us the difference between the Pint X and the GT and had us ride both to feel the difference and really oriented us to the different features of each. He got us both riding one independently within 5 minutes and did so really safely. We ended up renting an XR to spend a little more time with it. wish I could give them 1 star and call police lol This place claimed they could fix my scooters controller. I paid 75 for them to tell me what they already pretty much knew when I walked in, and they thought it was my controller. They said they had the part. What they did was find the cheapest one they could find. When I tested my 500 what scooter that is meant to cruise up to speeds of 22 miles per hour and carry a weight of 500 pounds and hold that speed, they definitely did not install the right controller. Because when I tested it, it gets stuck on 5 miles per hour for 2 seconds, and then you're stuck at 7 miles an hour, and then maybe if you're lucky you get to 10 miles an hour which takes 10 whole seconds, it starts picking up a little bit of speed, and it topped out around 18.6 miles an hour. They refunded me that day because I think one of the workers knows it's bullshit and it wasn't fixed. He said it would definitely get the right part and it would take some time. Cool. I approved it, they refunded me, it took 5 days to hit my card. All while they're lying to me again and saying they're fixing my scooter again, and supposedly it's working the same as it did when I tested it. This is absolutely unacceptable. They are now saying I owe them 200$ for a part that works defective in my scooter. I told them to take that part out, and I would pay them for the work. I called and asked for total, they immediately realized who I was, and they switched phone to the owner who YELLED at me and interrupted me saying "IAM SPEAKING." At the top of his lungs. One thats unnaccaptable and unprofessional behavior and ill be going to the better business bureau about all of this scam. I received the right part in the mail from China as this took so long, and these people are saying they will put my scooter up for auction if I don't pay for a defective part that they reluctantly lied about. I can fix the scooter myself now. They don't have the right part and the owner has now interrupted and screamed very loudly in my ear. I'm not in the wrong. I even purchased a new scooter. DO NOT go to this place. They use cheap parts and will lie to you. Also the owner has some anger issues. pretty sure it's the owner. Whoever the hell felt the need to just yell at me and get so mad that he hung up. how do I highlight the part where the dude literally yelled in my ear. F that. they even told me in an email that it would be around 100 dollars, and now they're trying to charge me for this bullshit part. I understand they did the work. But lie to me and then yell and hang up? all these people do is fuck around all day riding around the shop on the electric unicycle and when someone has a problem they can't fix I guess they just lie to you and overcharge. cool. I was traveling from Chicago to California and I came across this store with tons of toys, I was greeted by Jamie and Joe, they were very knowledgeable about the scooters they carry, but an electric drift trike caught my eye, Joe told me all about it, they even had one I rode in the parking lot! Wheelzen rides is very shady and a scam. I took a scooter in for a E14 throttle repair because I didn't have time to fix it myself, paid the 75$ diagnostic fee even though I knew what the issue was and told them this. The owner then proceeded to tell me when I picked up my scooter that there was a "systems error" with the scooter and the computer was done and that the scooter could not be fixed (which I knew was a lie) then proceeded to ask me if they wanted to "dispose of my broken scooter for me" which i declined because I knew they were lying to me. After taking the scooter back home and doing my own diagnostics I found that the magnet had slipped out of place in the throttle which caused the original E14 message, put the magnet back in place with super glue and it was fine. I have put off writing a review because in this day and age, we go to reviews before doing business (at least I do) and I wanted to make sure my review was genuine after running into a few technical issues with my Onewheel. I did some research on Onewheel and it landed me at WheelZen Rides. They answered every question I had and took the time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Here is where they really stood out... I ran into a controller box issue with my Onewheel right out of the box. I contacted them and after they verified what needed to be done was under warranty, they contacted Future Motion, sent my Pint X over, and stayed in constant contact with me. Their communication is top notch! I had my Pint back within a week of them sending it. But wait! There was a footpad wiring issue on my first ride back, I contacted the guys at WheelZen Rides and not only did they get back to me right away, they walked me through the process on how to fix it so I didn't have to drive down to the shop (over an hour round trip).
