I tried calling Red Cross and they couldn't do anything since I did it through a "third party" even though i went through their website. When I finally found a number on their website it said to text and someone would get back to me which they did and they said they would send me my certification that day and nothing. I tried emailing and I tried texting the number again and no response. If I don't hear anything back soon I'm doing to Dispute the charge. I paid my tuition in full and completed all my hours, only to discover afterward that the school was in a major dispute with the CAMTC--a situation I feel should have been disclosed to me before I paid. It has now been a very long time since I finished the program, and I still do not have the certification required to work. In their own words, graduates are "in limbo." As an immigrant, I worked extremely hard for every penny of my tuition, but when I asked for a refund because the school failed to provide the promised path to a professional license, my requests were ignored. The school argues their "formal" investigation didn't start until September 2023, but the reality is that I paid for a career I cannot currently pursue. I feel completely misled. I did not sign up to be a part of their legal battle with the CAMTC; I signed up to become a massage therapist. Please be careful with your hard-earned money and be aware that you may end up waiting years for a license that may not come. Note: This is an updated review. I was recently threatened with a defamation lawsuit by the school administration for posting my unfiltered experience. I believe this speaks volumes about how this institution handles students who speak up about their situation.

We were mostly interested in the infant/pediatric CPR portion but it was extremely helpful to learn about how to handle potential emergency situations involving cardiac arrest, broken bones, burns, cuts/scrapes, and choking. Genesse was careful in explaining all the details of what to look for when facing emergent situations. After our training, we feel more confident about the possibility of facing such a serious situation. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to become certified either professionally or for their own personal knowledge and safety.

I received my CPR & AED instruction from Zach this morning. This was my first time going through…read morethe certification process and, I gotta say, this is the ONLY way I could imagine doing it. Signing up and scheduling a time was a breeze - I called in and spoke to Elizabeth who was nothing but sweet, helpful and accommodating. She worked with my schedule to set up a time and gave me all information I needed. She informed me they provided at-home instruction with one of their qualified trainers and it would take about an hour. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this since I was expecting to take 4-6 hours out of a Saturday to sit in a classroom with a group of people and watch some boring video. So not the case with Safety & Life Support CPR Training! Zach, the instructor, arrived at my place on time and was very approachable and easy to talk to. During the instruction, Zach was very thorough and always checked in to see if I had any questions or if anything he covered was unclear. The one-on-one training in my own house was not only more comfortable and convenient for me, but it made it easier to hone in and get undivided attention on a subject matter that's so crucial for the safety and welfare of those in need during an emergency. I highly recommend them and I'll be seeing them in the future for re-recertification =)
