We stopped in to check this event out last Saturday and it was a blast. Two days and 12 bands. Unfortunately we were only able to catch the last two bands. There was also two stages which helped with breaking up the crowds. This is in a busy part of Maitland, although parking is available in several locations, it can be tricky finding it since many of the main entrances to the park are blocked. It's free entry to the event. If you plan on staying all day be sure to bring a chair or a blanket to sit on. Also know that pets were not allowed at the event and you could not bring your own drinks or coolers in. There are a lot of food trucks on site along with several other vendors selling goods, jewelry & such, plus several areas for sampling their food/product. If you're not in the mood for any of that you could always opt for Boku sushi, or Kelly's Homemade Ice cream which are also great options. If we planned better we could have spent an entire day here it looked like it was a great time for the community. If you're in the area when this event takes place next year, I recommend checking it out.

The afternoon was perfect. They had beer stands, food stands/trucks and even a small little artisan market to buy Florida made items. The park is beautiful and was able to host two stages to eliminate down time between bands, and it has plenty of trees to set up your chairs to enjoy the music in the shade. Was definitely kid friendly with a small playground area to keep them entertained. The bands were spectacular which made for such an entertaining and relaxing afternoon. Can't wait for next year's lineup.

Be sure to…read morecheck out the Daily City's calendar on their website and FaceBook page for dates, since this is an ongoing, repeat activity. The trucks change out pretty frequently, so check out the participant listing, too!! This is a great way to get a taste of Orlando all in one place. There are about 15 - 20 trucks on average, at each event. Personal faves include La Empanda and pretty much any truck that has sweets. We just tried the Cake truck (I'm drawing a complete blank on the name - I'll circle back with an update on that) and the Hot Fudge Sundae cupcake was ridiculously good! They block off a good section of parking lot for this event, so there is plenty of space to bring folding chairs and a small table (recommend this actually). At the very least, bring some sports chairs with cup holders. The lines can get pretty hefty on some of the days, so try to arrive early and hop in line at your faves to ensure you get what you are looking for to eat. We like to divide and concur. He'll go to one truck and I'll wait at another, and we'll regroup at a chosen place. This works well on busy days. Overall: A A fun event, family / pet friendly, and plenty o' food to nom on!

AMAZING LOCAL FOOD! I assure you, you want to check this event out. Tips: Get there early. Bring cash as all trucks do not accept cards. Be prepared to wait for your food as everything is made to order. Bring a chair and or table if you want a set up. MINGLE! Some stalls were standouts - there was a local woodworker with really lovely and affordable furniture pieces, a stall which had antique spoons turned into functional jewelry pieces like rings, etc and another stall with artworks made from flip-flops. For the last one, it was so artfully done, I didn't realize the material used for the artworks were flip-flops at first! The amphitheater had live music, and it was a nice variety and lovely to hear in the background while wandering thru the stalls. Food vendor wise, there were only a couple of option and I couldn't help thinking they should have partnered with the Daily City Food Trucks events so a better variety of options could have been available. Also at night, not all vendors had access to electricity and so some of them were open, but I couldn't really check out what they were selling all that well. I had tons of fun browsing thru the stalls and so would definitely come and check this festival again next year, if in the area. Note: #377 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016
