a food truck with a menu

I'm back to update my review! THE COW TONGUE TACOS ARE BACK! They finally have some good quality meats back in store and the owners have decided to put it back on the menu! The price of their tacos has been risen up by 25 cents and their cow tongue tacos are $2. I don't know why Yelp has their hours listed wrong but I've tried to correct it to no avail. Friday's and Saturday's only everyone. And they do run out of food sometimes and need to close early so closing times vary sometimes. I'd always call in to check beforehand! I recommend calling in to place an order, place gets packed and sometimes there's no parking spots. Remember, it is situated by a gas station so they are sharing space with everyone.

Bona fide Mexican tacos and quesadillas are being served up by this food truck. The tacos are unequivocally the best I've had in Orlando! The ones I had over at El Sabor De La Vida were superb and I didn't think I could find any better, but here I was at El Taco Loco getting an even greater taco high. The tacos are smaller than what you're likely used to, about 4 inches in length, but they're only a dollar and are PACKED with authentic flavors. You may choose steak, chicken, pork, sausage or beef tongue tacos. They come with your choice of cheese, onion, fresh cilantro, lime and they'll ask if you'd like crema (Mexican sour cream) on your taco as well. I love how they make genuine corn tortillas rather than flour tortillas. It gives the meal a more rustic texture and taste. If you'd like to add a bit of spice they also have traditional red salsa and salsa verde (the hotter of the two). They also have radishes for you to slice up and add to your taco. The radishes really do set the taco off on flavor, love them. For such a small taco, the flavors really do come through with a punch. Savory, not too spicy and the seasoning they use for each type of meat comes through very nicely. Your taste buds will be elated with delight. 4-5 tacos will fill surely satiate your tummy nicely. I ordered 3 tacos (pork, steak, beef tongue) and one chicken quesadilla. Now, this was the first time I've ever tried beef tongue in any way, shape or form. I can honestly say that it carried my favorite flavor of the three tacos! Although, they were ALL superb. The one quesadilla was also good. It didn't have as much dimension and flavor as the tacos, but it was still delightfully melty and grilled. The tacos are so good here that El Taco Loco has ruined all other tacos that have come before. The staff was very friendly and I noticed they painstakingly keep their humble truck clean and efficient. If I have a taco craving, which I very often do, I'll come here before going anywhere else.

Carnitas, Chorizo & Lengua - Oh My! (That green sauce is spicy!)

This truck is the real deal. Nothing fancy or high brow - just good street food. The corn tortilla's were fresh & the fillings were full of flavor. I tried three different tacos: carnitas (pork), lengua (tongue) and chorizo (mexican sausage). I had the equivalent of "the works" on mine so each tasty morsel of a taco came with some chopped onions, cilantro, cheese and mexican cream (think a looser sour cream). The carnita's were juicy, porky goodness, the chorizo was full of flavorful spices and the lengua was nice tender. I took one of the radishes to add to my tacos but realized once I got back in the car that I had no way to cut it up. So I munched on it separately. There are two condiment bottles out for you to add sauce to your tacos (or quesadillas) One looks like a ketchup bottle - the other is a translucent bottle through which you can see a green sauce. FYI - both of these are salsa/hot sauces. The red bottle isn't ketchup. I tried the green sauce. It has quite a nice kick to it. My mouth was tingling for at least 15 minutes after I was through eating. So be careful - this is messy, finger licking food. If you use the hot sauce (especially the green sauce) don't inadvertently go wiping your eyes (or other sensitive parts) until after you wash your hands. I'm just saying. Yowza! The hours listed on here say they are just open from 5pm-8pm but we went at lunchtime on a Friday and they were open. At $1 a pop you just can't beat this place. We will definitely add this to our rotation. Next time I'l try a quesadilla too.

I found out about this place while I was getting gas. I smelled something fantabulous and my nose led me to this truck. I have been coming here ever since. I have one more reason to look forward to the weekend. Trust me when I say the food is AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS. This is real Mexican street food and for only a buck a pop way worth any drive you might have to make. Thankfully I live practically down the street :-)

Hands down best tacos I've had since I been here in Florida, bout 10 of them and I wanted more.. even went back a couple hours later to purchase more. The people were super cool and quick. Now I know where to get my tacos when I'm craving them!!

I enjoyed every inch of this taco.

I go to this taco truck every single Friday and I will continue to go every Friday because I never get tired of them! Seriously so delicious they have their off days but even those are good. Definitely recommend if you want some authentic tacos.

Phone definitely did not eat first at Adelitas. They have such a wide range of food on the menu…read morefrom seafood to carne asada to soups. All made with love and you can seriously tell how much pride this business takes in each and every dish they put out. My husband and I got the skinny margaritas, had a few shots, and the best food. I could drown myself in their refried beans. Shout out to Jesus who has always taken such great care of us every time we've visited since they've opened. This place is so laid back, a great place to come to yap with friends. I love Adelitas so much and cannot wait to see where their next location takes them.

A bummer experience, unfortunate for a restaurant with potential…read more We went on a Wednesday and ordered the fajitas (weekly special) and the chipotle chicken. The fajitas came out without the sizzle of the skillet (disappointing but not a deal breaker) and the chipotle chicken was overly salty. I would have gladly let my server know the food was too salty, but unfortunately they nearly completley absent our entire dining experience. We love the table salsa and could not find them in the restaurant to ask for more until our food was delivered. But after that, we never saw them again. It wasn't until the bartender noticed us looking, that we were able to ask for our check. There was maybe 4 tables in the restaurant during this time and 0 staff presence.
